The location was perfect! It felt more residential but still surrounded by plenty of restaurants and beautiful canals. The bed was very comfortable and our room had beautiful windows which allowed for great sunlight. The staff were friendly and helpful. Loved the free coffee, enjoyed several lattes. The rooms have AC and the hotel has a small lift. The neighborhood had a classy, friendly and comfortable feel.

The only negative was the bathroom. Although very clean and fairly spacious, after taking a shower, the bathroom floor would be covered with water. It didn’t seem like the shower drain was working very well. Used many towels soaking up the water so the water wouldn’t seep into the room.

Adam’s Suites Hotel was in an excellent location within walking distance of the train station and city center, and close to canals, stores, and restaurants. Isabel in reception worked with us and made our stay that much better. We were well taken care of even when arriving after the office had closed. A small but functional balcony allowed for early morning coffee or evening drinks and the room, though a little tight, was very nice. Overall, we would stay there again.

Great experience overall, started with very welcoming staff upon our arrival. They gave excellent recommendations and tips for navigating the city. Room was clean and had just enough space for 4 people (2 adults, 2 kids). Bathrooms are updated and shower had an overhead rainfall showerhead. Would definitely stay here again. Location was great, away from the hustle of the tourist areas, but close enough that we walked everywhere we went.

Not much to frown upon, the only minor issue we had was the standby light on the TV was bright at night, so we easily solved that by unplugging the TV at night.

The area of the property is really nice, comfortable beds, very clean room, could control the heat in the room which is always perfect, really good shower, quiet area and the free coffee in the morning really added to the overall experience (really good coffee!) There is also an elevator on the property which is rare to find in Amsterdam :) Also has an amazing street market on a Saturday morning right outside the hotels door, highly recommend!

There was a slight drain smell in the bathroom, however didn’t ruin the overall experience!

Location is excellent and quiet. Staff ia amazing and always available, even by WhatsApp 24h. They also have bike for rental which is super convenient. On saturdays you have the best street Market in Amsterdam just in front of the hotel. It is great! You can find everything. I definitelly recomend this hotel.

My stay at this hotel was absolutely perfect. I used to live around the corner, and chose it specifically because of the location. As far as I'm concerned, this is the nicest neighborhood in the world. The bed was comfortable, the shower was amazing, and the staff is outstanding. It's also rare to find a hotel like this in this neighborhood that has an elevator, which means no carrying your luggage up those steep and winding Dutch stairs. Plenty of restaurants, cafes and bars in the immediate vicinity, and you could spend days doing nothing other than waking around and exploring the immediate area. The balcony room is worth it for the view.

I disliked not having a chance to stay longer

Everything. We were in Room 12. A very nice room in all respects. The room faces the street. At night it was quiet with a nice sunset. Our one night was somewhat expensive for us but it was in the summer peak tourist season and we booked just a couple of weeks out.

Nothing. The staff was outstanding. We arrived early and the hotel kept our luggage for us and placed it in our room and when we checked out they kept our luggage for us until 5:30. I could not figure out the tv channel situation and that was okay, we didn’t come to Amsterdam to watch tv.

Excellent location. Very warm and friendly welcome and help from staff as needed throughout. Great communication from the team too. Very quick check in and access to our room. Lovely room, clean and light. With a lovely view. Comfortable beds and great shower with plenty of hot water.

The heating/air con was not perfect. The room was warm (much needed as it was very cold during our visit), but too hot over night and turning down the thermostat didn’t hugely help. The system was constantly cycling and making a noise throughout the night which disturbed on occasion. Not a huge deal but a minor irritation. The pros of this property massively outweigh this point.

The location is fantastic. And the price point really suited us as a family. The staff facilitated and helped with recommendations when needed. We had a great trip and would stay here again.

As others have said it’s not much space for 4 people. We were backpacking and it made it hard to keep the room tidy as there’s very little storage space and the bathroom could use an extra shelf. Having said that we would stay here again as the location really worked well for us.

Fantastic location in Jordaan. We were able to enjoy the area by staying here. The room was decent sized. Getting coffee from the front bar/reception area was a plus....and it was so so good! The staff went above and beyond helping us when we were there. Since our kids wanted to ride bicycles in Amsterdam and we had a very packed itinerary, the hotel staff obliged us by leaving the keys to a couple of their bikes overnight in our room. We finally managed to sneak in one ride early in the morning to catch some yummy croissants at the bakery down the street.

The bathroom door was frosted glass and did not have a lock. That was a little bit awkward with the family but with strict instructions - not to go near the bathroom, we solved the issue! Recommend a thicker frost to the glass. Also note that the staff is available only 930a-530p. We didn't need anything off hours, but just good to note. Also note that it is a good 15 min walk across bridges and cobblestone streets to get here from Amsterdam Central. So note if you are planning to come with large bags.
