The room was more spacious than we expected in such a busy part of Amsterdam. It was clean and very comfortable. The hosts were so kind and helpful. We arrived before the check-in time but were able to leave our luggage, and the host even took it up to our room for us.

As mentioned in other reviews, it was a bit noisy outside. I do think that is to be expected in such a vibrant part of town. It was not a problem for us, and there were earplugs provided as well.

We arrived in Amsterdam early in the morning and were able to drop our luggage off from 11am to the restaurant downstairs. The hotel was a 20-minute walk from the central train station. We came back for 3pm to check in, and our bags had been taken to our room. The restaurant was beautiful and the room was perfect for what we needed. It was one of the rooms at the top of the hotel (no.9 &10) which you had to climb a very steep set of stairs to get to - which was fine for us but maybe not others. Our room was clean and modern and was made up every day. A hairdryer, kettle, tea & coffee provided. The shower was a separate cubical with shampoo and conditioner. Unfortunately, our shower leaked onto the carpet outside the cubical, so definitely be mindful of this. On arrival, we were also given coupons for free coffee and pastries (1 p.p.n) from the coffee shop across the street, which were perfect! We weren't due to fly until late afternoon on check out day and were able to leave our bags in the room after checkout until 2-3ish. Overall, it was a great stay!

Cant recommend this hotel enough. The location is amazing - close to inner city and trendy neighborhoods, Jordaan and De 9 Straatjes. The staff were super friendly and very accommodating to all your needs. The rooms are fitted out nicely with modern amenities and nice details - the Tekla soap was amazing. Also they have bikes for hotel guests to use. Lastly i would highly recommend their restaurant below, amazing food and natural wine list - i also visited their sister restaurant Café Binnenvisser - equally as good. Thanks to the manager Roy, and staff Cece and Malle(?) it was an amazing stay!

Amazing hotel!! The boutique rooms are adorable and very unique. Everything was exceptionally clean and the details in the room were very thought out and perfect. They offered a voucher for a free coffee and pastries (delicious!!) at a very fun cafe across the street. The location really cannot be beat! It a cute and lively neighborhood with great restaurants, cafes, and activities nearby and only a 15 minute walk to Amsterdam Centraal. The staff was exceptionally kind and helpful to make sure my stay was fantastic. I had dinner at the Calisto restaurant below and loved trying the taster surprise menu. To top it all off, I had a few hours before my flight home and the staff watched my bags and let me borrow a bicycle to end my Amsterdam trip on the perfect note. I was a female solo traveler and could have felt safer or more welcomed by the staff. I will certainly be staying here again next time I am in Amsterdam.

The location is great and lively so the sound at night could be an issue. However, they thought of everything and even provided complimentary earplugs!

The place is very well located, in a beautiful part of the city. The morning coffee was amazing (the little coffee shop where you have breakfast - right next to the hotel - is very good and the owner is very friendly) The rooms and beds are extra comfy and the personnel is awesome !! We let our luggages for the day in the Calisto restaurant in the morning, and we came back in the evening to pick them back up, they were in a safe space and we had no problem getting on time at the train station (10/15 min walk !!) Thanks to the team for the warm welcome ☺️

In the room we booked (room 10) the shower was leaking (even when being extra careful with where we axed the shower head - towards the inside of the shower and not on the glass) so the floor got a little wet after every shower. Also, the charging ports were on the opposite side of the bed, on the other side of the room - which was a little bit of a struggle for charging phones, setting the alarms etc…- same thing with the hair drier - charging port is a little bit too low so we had to bend down or stretch veeery much the cable for it to be plugged in to dry our hair. An extension cord would have been awesome ☺️ Apart from those two things, everything went perfectly !! We recommend this place if you want to have a smooth stay in Amsterdam !!

The location is great in the Jordaan area and only 15mins walk from Centraal station. The room was nicely decorated and comfy and had everything we needed. We also loved the coffee and pastry included from the cafe next door. The restaurant also let us keep our bags there for the day before we came home which was appreciated.

We were staying in a room above the restaurant and one night the kitchen was playing very loud dance music after service until almost midnight so I couldn't get to sleep 😞. The free coffee and pastry from the cafe is a great idea but on Sundays it doesn't open until 10am which is too late if you want to explore the city earlier. The bathroom door is only glass so doesn't give a lot of privacy even if you're a couple.

This is my second time staying at this lovely hotel. My room was quiet even though it looked out onto the street, which is very pretty. I booked a deluxe double room this time and it was delightfully spacious and filled with natural light. The room had a Smeg kettle which was a great treat. The shower was excellent. The digital key was sent on the day and it worked really well from the phone. Breakfast pastry and tea/coffee were included from a small and really friendly cafe across the road. The restaurant downstairs was not open when I checked out at 11am, so I was unable to leave my bags.

Huge comfortable bed, lovely compact cosy room, gorgeous features, amazing shower and fab cleaning service. Also like the digital room key & the restaurant below is amazing, lovely staff and the best pasta I’ve ever had!

There was quite a bit of creaking one night from 1am-3am and it sounded like it was coming from right outside my room (maybe a ghost). As a young female solo traveller I felt quite scared. Also quite loud outside my room at the early hours, there was a man was shouting down the street at nothing for a while one night, that spooked me a bit.

The hotel was very nice, we were allowed to leave our luggage even though we went early and our luggage was carried to our room while we were away. The location was very nice and safe. We were also able to get free breakfast and coffee from the cafe next to the hotel. I would definitely choose it again.

The windows were very difficult to open. Other than that, the stairs were small, yes, but that's how it is in Europe in general, it wasn't a problem for us.

Modern, comfortable, clean, warm.

Stairs to rooms 9 & 10 are incredibly steep (warming for elderly, pregnant or mobility impaired). A few easy fixes to be done: - Safe was already locked when we arrived (please ensure this is left open for future guests). - Bedside lamps were flat (need charging). - Water leakage on the ceiling between the 9th & 10th rooms. - The Café to collect the free breakfast doesn’t open until 9am (10am on Sundays), so we couldn’t collect ours before we checked out on the last day (perhaps providing an alternative breakfast pick up option to suit those leaving earlier than 9/10am).
