The bed was soft for us but that is such a personal preference. The linens were excellent. The hosts could not have been more friendly, responsive and warm. The apartment is decorated in an understated elegant and comfortable way with nice touches such as some antique furniture mixed with contemporary. The location is fantastic and the apartment is extremely quiet. The immediate neighborhood had restaurants and grocery stores. All kitchenette and bathroom facilities seemed new.

The quirk of the apartment is that the large window in the main room looks out on the deck of the neighbors, so we often had the blind closed or partially drawn so as not to be on display, or to feel that we were intruding on their privacy, since their windows were maybe 10 feet away. That said, we would absolutely choose this place again.

We had an absolutely exceptional stay at this beautiful Amsterdam Palm Apartment. From the moment we arrived, our host went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. They kindly carried our luggage up the stairs, checked in during our stay to ensure we had everything we needed, and truly made us feel at home. The apartment itself was gorgeous—spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully stocked with wonderful items in the refrigerator and on the counter, which was such a lovely surprise after traveling. The location was perfect: close enough to the city center to easily walk or bike to all the sights, yet just far enough away to enjoy peace and quiet in the evenings. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. This is truly a gem of a place, and we would stay here again in a heartbeat!

This Airbnb is a real treasure and totally changed my experience for Amsterdam, a city I visit twice a year. I will now onwards give up staying at hotels, and hopefully if available, try and only stay here. The neighbourhood is a dream, it’s a beautiful and upscale residential area with lovely quaint cafés away from the touristy chaos and noise. The apartment is impeccable, it’s done up very nicely, sophisticated and lovely, and the hosts have thought of every little thing and nuance that you might need. It’s flooded with natural light. The two host are extremely welcoming and help you with the luggage carrying, which is very helpful and kind. Really enjoyed interacting with them and the warmth that was extended to us. Just had a complete blast staying here, and would recommend it hand down. 👍

The hosts were amazing! So friendly, welcoming and helpful. A great home away from home. Loved having a separate bedroom from the living area and kitchenette that you just won’t get in a hotel and MUCH more spacious than the typical Amsterdam hotel room. Toilet is in a separate powder room from the shower, off the main living area of the apartment.

Typical of these houses, be aware the stairs are quite steep but the hosts carry all luggage up and down the stairs with a smile.

Wow, such a wonderful place to stay with the most equally wonderful hosts! The location of the apartment is enough out of the hustle of the main areas of Amsterdam, but close enough to walk into it should you wish. The apartment has been recently redecorated, including new beds, which were super comfortable. A lovely surprise of having a few stock items in the fridge and some yummy biscuits too. The hosts kept in touch with us during our stay including recommending places to eat and drink, and also what to do should we accidentally lose the key! We would both hand on heart recommend staying with JC and JW at the Palm!

Loved the apartment! Very cultured and great decor (some of which I would have purchased for my own flat! - great taste). The apartment was finished to a high standard throughout and everything was well-maintained. I can tell that great thought went into providing guests with anything they might need, as the hosts provided cleaning and sanitary/bathroom products, universal power adapters, and a welcome snack/drinks!

The apartment doesn't have controls for its own heating system - it has a dial which allows you to adjust the heating when on, but it appears the main control to turn the heating on/off is in the flat above with the hosts/landlord. This impacted us during our stay because we were cold during the late evenings, where it felt inappopriate to ask the landlord to turn the heating on (11pm+), we resorted to bringing the duvet's into the lounge area to keep warm. I'm sure this won't be a problem during the summer. The location is 20-25mins walk from Centraal station.

This is an absolutely beautiful apartment. The owners are incredibly friendly and helpful and we truly enjoyed our stay. Awesome location with an easy walk to any thing you may need or want. Don’t hesitate to stay here I guarantee you will love it. We sure did 😁

The only aspect that may be a deal breaker would be accessibility for someone with mobility issues.

Very friendly helpful hosts. Excellent location in a residential community with local shops, canals but still right in middle of Amsterdam Central. Easy walk to bus / tram to museums, Central station etc. Great washing machine dryer.

Stairs to our first floor apartment were steep but hosts took up our suitcases which was great. We thought it had a stove included but then we ate out locally..

Spacious, modern studio apartment in an excellent location. Great shower. Comfortable bed. Excellent blinds that block all the light. Well appointed (soaps, drinks, snacks etc). Host met us for check in and carried bags up the steep staircase. Host provided helpful tips and other guidance via a bespoke app.

The studio is part of a larger apartment and you can’t lock the studio when you go out (but you can lock it from the inside when you’re in the studio). Average cooking facilities (no stove, oven is a microwave with oven functions, and no proper cooking knives).

Kitchenette was stocked with tea, coffee, etc.. as well as a few cold drinks in the refridgerator. Owners helped us with our suitcases up the steep stairwell and accommodated our early check in prior to 2. Helpful with information and places to eat

Had to keep blind down for privacy as lounge area overlooks the neighbours outdoor area
