The Bank Hotel is located about a ten minute walking distance from Amsterdam Centraal and a decent walk if you want to venture into the rest of Amsterdam. There are still a significant amount of bars, cafes, and restaurants nearby. The breakfast options is decent, nothing fancy but simple meal to get through the morning. I also like the staff allows you to store your luggage if you need to kill time before checking in or after checking out.

The rooms could've been cleaned a little better and the design of the bathroom door isn't ideal if you are traveling with a friend. The pricing is a little high but compared to other lodging options in Amsterdam this hotel is a little more spacious and newer.

The hotel was located only a 10-15 minute walk from the train station, really close by to the centre of Amsterdam, located in a quiet part considering its location. The room was really comfy and the balcony was the perfect addition when booking the stay, bed was super comfy and there was an added bonus of a fridge in the room.

The Bank Hotel is in the perfect location and found it easy to walk most places (which we did!). The hotel is close to lots of Cafes, shops, supermarkets and restaurants and is approximately a 12 minute walk to Amsterdam Centraal, and about the same distance to the Red Light District. As it was my Birthday, the staff had put in the extra effort to make my stay special with a small treat which was super appreciated. The room was clean, enough space for two people and a special shoutout to the shower which was so nice! Really enjoyed my stay here!

Exceptional Reception Team: A huge thank you to Kostas and Maria at reception! They were incredibly professional, friendly, and went above and beyond to make my stay perfect. Kostas kindly granted my request for a complimentary late check-out (1-hour extension), which was super important and allowed me to successfully finish a critical business meeting without stress. Maria was equally helpful and welcoming throughout. Thoughtful Reception Amenities: Loved the welcoming touches in the lobby – the delicious cookies, quality Nespresso coffee, and refreshing lemon water were greatly appreciated and available throughout the day. Perfect Location: The location is truly excellent. Being just a 5-10 minute walk from Amsterdam Central Station made exploring the city incredibly easy and convenient, especially for arrivals/departures. Highly Recommended: Overall, a fantastic stay experience that I would highly recommend to others.

Our stay at The Bank Hotel in Amsterdam was absolutely perfect—5/5! The room was incredibly comfortable, and the hotel’s location couldn’t have been better. It’s strategically placed, close to everything you’d want to explore in the city. A special mention to Macarena, who made our experience even more memorable. She was so friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. Highly recommend staying here!

If there’s one thing to improve, it would be the breakfast. It would be great to have more variety, especially with the eggs—not just hard-boiled. Other than that, everything was fantastic!

Room was warm and cosy and the bed was comfy. I am super fussy when it comes to pillows and this hotel has the best pillows ever! The hotel is very quiet and great location for seeing the sights of Amsterdam. There is a fabulous Italian restaurant down the street that served superb food. The place was very clean although we did think that the decor was very dated. The shower was excellent, always hot water, powerful and very roomy. The staff were extremely lovely at all times, always polite and happy to help. We didn't have the breakfast as there were plenty of places to eat not far from the hotel and we read from previous reviews that it wasn't that great for the money. All in all we would definitely stay here again.

Dated decor

Easy to find thanks to the instructions, with a friendly welcome at check in , overseen by Lady the resident cat. Tiny but comfortable single room in the attic, with a very good bathroom. Kettle, capsule coffee machine and mini fridge were all good to have. Comfortable night’s sleep with lots of hot water for showering in the morning. Only downside was the room abutts directly into the lift so there is noise from this. I could also hear other people moving around and talking in their room but thankfully not loudly and no one was partying thank goodness. Breakfast was included, typical European breakfast with fruit, juice and smoothies, coffee and boiled eggs, ham, salami and cheeses. Different breads and pastries also available. Very friendly staff, hope to come back some time.

- Located in a Old Town and near Central Station (15 mins walk) - Lovely and Friendly Staff - The room has a large balcony with a beautiful view, though it's a bit of a pity there are quite a lot of pigeon droppings ^^

- The breakfast is delicious, but not varied, it's the same menu every day. - It might be because the building was converted from an old structure, so there are some steps at the entrance where you have to lift your luggage up and down a bit, but it's not really a big issue. - The water pressure in the bathroom is very low.

Staff was always friendly and helpful, and provided tips and directions. Good breakfast, mostly cold options but worked for us not to head out each morning. Nice sized family room which was good after staying a week in cramped rooms in other cities. Large bathroom. Close to train station and Jordaan district and our tour starting points. The staff made all the difference, they were warm and friendly which was a nice change after the cold staff at our last hotel in Brusselss!

Pricey! But thats what you get for the location.
