Great location and really appreciated the effort the host had gone to to recommend good nearby spots for various possible needs. Plenty of towels and nice touches with books and amenities being supplied.

One towel did have a slight smell to it, but the host replaced it as soon as we mentioned it. A lack of ventilation in the room led to condensation build up on the windows overnight which we had to clear by leaving them open whenever we left for the day. A bit of mold starting in the curtains suggests dampness in the room has been an ongoing problem here - perhaps a dehumidifier is required? Noted there was no fridge in the room even though it was advertised (not that it bothered us).

This apartment was very cozy. It was clean and tidy, in a great location, and the owner was prompt in getting back to us when we needed help.

We didn't like the automatic entrance set up through the app, as it didn't work, but Babette was very approachable and able to let us in remotely without any problems. There was a spare key inside the unit. We would have liked to have a small table or something inside the room to put things on. It would have been great to have another chair in the room instead of using the bed for everything.

The location was perfect, the bed was nice big and super comfy. The studio had everything we needed. Loved the little touches of welcome note and additional toiletries provided. The YouTube video to assist with checking in with the key app, was super helpful and made checking into the property easy to understand.

Could slightly hear upstairs residents walking around but this didn't effect us sleeping as we understand they have children above us.

Location was excellent and it was nice and warm. Bed was comfortable and good to have some books on Amsterdam available. The welcome waffle was wonderful.

Was a little noisy with footsteps above and one night about 2.30 in the morning someone came in walking around quite a bit which woke us both up and there was a dog barking periodically. Annoying but not a real problem.

We had a lovely and enjoyable stay that was beyond expectation thanks to Babette! We were welcomed with Stroopwafels when arriving and the place was so clean ~ Towels, shampoo, shower gel, coffee and tea were included too Although she was not physically there, she took time to suggest places to book in advance and breakfast adresses. Also when we needed additional blanket and informed about an alarm ringing for no reason, she handled everything greatly from distance ~ Every single issue were solved and did not impact our stay at all 👍 We could even leave our luggages after check out and had a lovely word and chocolates for our departure. Would recommand 1000% !! NB: the appartment is the one down the stairs, from the street, not the one above the stairs 🤗

Since we have not been to Amsterdam before, it was honestly the best location and place to stay to see it all. We highly appreciate babette for her ongoing communication and suggestions for our stay. The seperate access to the house ‘ literally on the canal ‘ was beneficial to come and go as we pleased and nothing was too far away to experience! We highly recommend this place for anyone in a couple or two people travelling, especially those who love good coffee and pastries We hope to be back again one day Thank you babette

The room was lovely, super comfortable large bed and incredible location. You won't find anything closer to the city centre for 2 with an en suite for cheaper.

We weren't big fans of the way you enter and exit the property. Having to download an app and pray my phone doesn't die or I lose it otherwise I have no way to enter the property. Definitely very secure but a key would have been much easier.

Perfect Location, around 5-10 min walk from all the shops, restaurants and bars. our street was quiet but had a lot going on still, bars and cafes, supermarket, etc. Property was cozy, cute, and clean. Babette is a super host, so attentive and helpful when we needed it, very responsive to messages. Bed was SO comfortable, i had a great sleep every night. Also the amenities provided were a great help, i.e. toothpaste, hair grips, cotton wool, etc.

The location was perfect, walking distance to the central station, 10 minutes from Anne Frank’s house. Close to a lot of activities. The studio was private, in the basement of a family home. We had our private entrance. Private bathroom.

It was a little stuffy as we couldn’t open the windows to let air in. Since we were there only two nights, we didn’t bother the host to unlock the windows for us. We were hardly in the room anyway, with so much to see and do in Amsterdam.

Very nice property, amazing location and very nice host. Babette was very accommodating and helpful with any asks. Would definitely recommend and would stay again.

Would be great to fix the extractor fan in the bathroom so the room could air out but we just opened the window!
