Nice property, well thought out in terms of design. Convenient location for central Arnhem.

Cleaning was an issue in all 3 rooms, on some days despite putting the hanger on the door requesting cleaning it was not done, or was done partially (towels taken but not replaced, bins not emptied) In room 12 one of the pillows was stained with what we hope was fake tan, or ladies makeup - this was obviously not noticed by the cleaning staff. No options for breakfast, only the selection given by the hotel, which was nice but not great.

The hotel was absolutely beautiful, and lots of attention was paid to the details. We slept great in the bed, and the breakfast was truly one of the best breakfasts I've had in a hotel. I felt that the owners really put a lot of heart into the hotel and its design, as it was a lovely mix of traditional and modern. The bed, which had been made from a church pew, was absolutely lovely to look at and very comfortable. All in all, we loved our stay and would definitely come back again.

As I said, we'd definitely come back and loved our stay. The few things below are pointers for the future and for those considering booking at the hotel: 1) The room is entirely open, which includes the toilet. My husband and I are luckily very comfortable with each other, but it is still a bit too intimate for a shared hotel room. 2) The concrete floors meant that we heard muffled thumping every now and then, as we had people staying above us. Nothing too worrying at all, but good to keep in mind if you're a light sleeper.

Extraordinary conversion of a large, ornate church. Has to be seen and experienced!

As its a conversation with bedrooms inserted into the upper part of the building, ventilation in the bedrooms is poor. Despite this, air conditioning is provided. Access to the bedrooms is by a steep, historic staircase. Don't let these compromises discourage you. Overall, it's a unique delight!

Funky and chic property. Very cool and imaginative use of the church space with the bedroom pods suspended over the restaurant below. Exceptionally friendly staff. We were able to store our bikes in a courtyard (not covered so they got wet overnight). We had a fantastic breakfast

The bedroom was a little too warm despite the air con. There was no privacy when using the bathroom

Location was nice, right by the centre, though on the other side of town from the station. It's a quick walk through. The room was clean and had a wonderful bathtub.

There was no door to the toilet. This in itself was fine, but the wall separating the toilet from the rest of the room was far far too short. Lean forward and you'll be making awkward eye contact with anyone in the room.

Loved the repurposing of the church into a small hotel, the rooms over looking the center of the church. The style was cool and trendy. The staff were super helpful and really welcoming.

It was not easy to know how to store our belongings in the room, needed somewhere to put cases out the way. Everything else was great.

The rooms are not very spacious and if you are not very comfortable with each other, the rooms might not be it for you, as the toilet is basically in the room next to the bed

The hotel was stunning, boasting beautiful interiors and rooms. The breakfast was a luxury, and the staff's exceptional service made it even more enjoyable. Regarding your waking experience, the peaceful atmosphere and distinct ambiance provide a sense of rejuvenation, while the sight of the church ceiling is awe-inspiring.

Our stay was only for one night, but I must say that the room was exceptional in every aspect.

The location is amazing, it is an old church that has been transformed in a boutique hotel, the restaurant is very nice and serves amazing food, the service is really great, very friendly and professional.

The first night we were sleeping in a room that was very comfortable but end up being quite noise, the second night we moved to a very quite room, we appreciated the quick and professional response to our problem.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Church Hotel - an extravagant hotel. Staying in a former church is a special and unforgettable experience. The entire staff was very friendly and helpful. Another highlight was the rich and exquisite breakfast. The Church Hotel is highly recommended.
