Location is a few minutes walk from the nearest local train station and about 15 minutes walk from the central station. Free parking near the hotel. Check-in went smoothly. Friendly staff at the desk. Each of the 20 rooms is decorated by a different interior designer. A booklet with pictures of each of them lets you choose from the ones that are still available. The room is pretty standard but has all amenities one would need. In spite of being located next to the railway, noise is kept out due to triple insulation of the rooms. Breakfast was not included with our reservation, but can be had at the cafe nextdoor.

An absolute minus is the speed of the elevator. Nothing the hotel can help, but due to the type of (hydraulic) elevator. It takes about 1½ minutes to get from ground floor to the 3rd floor. Another irritator about the elevator is its habit to return to the basement after each use. Just from basement to ground floor takes 35 seconds. Why not return to ground floor after each use? Would make more sense.

The design decor is based on various fashion houses. This gave it an eclectic feel. We arrived later than expected so the front desk was closed but we found the door key waiting for us in the restaurant/bar next door. So all was well. Breakfast was good.

The elevation, as is typical of small hotels in Europe, was a bit cramped. But we would still stay there again. Read the direction to get to hotel carefully. We got off the train at the wrong station. It took a while to get to the hotel as a result!

We liked the setting of the hotel in a quiet neighborhood but still within walking distance of the centre. We liked that the windows opened and that they had louvred blinds in addition to curtains. We liked our attic room as we felt like we had our own private space. All the staff were great. We had a lovely dinner at the restaurant next door.

The eco friendly elevator was slow and small and the staircase steps were steep and narrow. Each room has it’s own design but the use of a commercial sewing machine table was not really practical as it limited space for a desk.

The staff members were very welcoming and helpful. The vibe was very casual. The attached restaurant was very good and convenient. We like that there was a communal refrigerator to store our food. It was in walking distance to restaurants and shops.

Every room is decorated differently by student designers. It is a great concept and supportive of young people. Our room however was not particularly attractive but clearly functional. If we were to return, I would request another room.

Unusual design of the rooms, modern and neat renovation, excellent location, helpful staff. We were delighted!!! except for 1 unpleasant surprise that was waiting for us in the shower room...

When I started using the shower, the drain didn't work and water started to collect. I lifted the lid and was horrified by the amount of dirt/wool/hair..., I was afraid to catch an infection or fungus after such an experience (((Even my friends, the photo I took caused a feeling of nausea...

I think the staff was really friendly, helpful and accomodating. And the fact that I was able to bring my dog without issue was a major factor in chosing to stay at this hotel.

Can't think of much, but if pressed, personally I prefer a bed that's a little more on the softer side. But you know - to each his own.

Beds were really good. It's a very quiet studio, the only thing we heard were the birds in the morning. Within a 10 minutes walk you are in the middle of city center, which is perfect. Also, if you walk to the north-west, you will end up in Sonsbeek within 10 minutes, which is a very nice park to have a morning walk and a coffee or lunch.

Although the room was clean enough, there were some things that could be improved. The toilet brush was dirty, some water taps were a little loose. Not a big problem, but things to improve.

A really individual and fun hotel with great breakfast’s and attentive staff.

We were there for and because of Airborne weekend. So prices were understandably high. Not really a reflection of whether we liked the property or not, we loved it and we’d stay again.

- the bed was super comfortable; - it was fun to see which room we got as (according to our understanding) each room has a very different design; - the restaurant downstairs serves very good food; - everyone one was super nice;

- the floor was not cosy; - the bathroom was a bit strange cuz it was like toilet and shower with a curtain;

It was roomy. Also the restaurant linked to the Hotel, Caspar, had excellent food, nice people and stylish interior. Nice breakfast too.

Not the nicest surroundings. The square in front of the hotel is very nice but the rest of the neighborhood is not. But it’s okay and you’re in the city center in a few minutes.
