Excellent buffet breakfast that was obviously enjoyed by everyone. If you're a later breakfaster, ask the staff to replace empty dishes. Good bicycle hire facilities with bicycles having secure lock arrangements and being decent quality. Beautiful countryside setting with easy access to main road, bus route with bus route taking one passed either Oosterbeek or Wolfheze train stations. There is also easy access to the bicycle and walking paths and woods. Day terrace facilities and lunch-afternoon light meals are very good. The evening supper menu only caters for those wanting a full dinner. The gym, swimming pool and sauna facilities are excellent and open until 11 p.m. - excellent for me. The room was a single and very comfortable and spacious. Coffee and tea facilities were good. Clean bathroom with shower and plenty of hot water plus white towels. Lounge facilities were relaxing. All clean and bright with relaxing grounds. Cute planters using old motorcycles.

The lack of light meals for the evening; being picky: the outside little balconies are rather overly rustic and could do with some tender loving care.

Room was lovely, nice and spacious, quiet, bathroom shower was very nice. Location was excellent, walking or biking paths everywhere. Breakfast was great, a variety of things to choose from. Staff was very polite and helpful.

The bed I thought I chose, an extra-large double bed, I was hoping for one mattress, but was actually two single beds put together. But I slept great. We brought a water bottle with us, wanted to keep it cool but the room didn't have a fridge. Not a game changer, but just missed it at that point. The car charging station, Vattenfal, didn't work with our chargemap card... but that has nothing to do with the hotel.

The hotel is in a peaceful area and much larger than we expected. The car park is a bit of a trek from the reception door but you can go through any of the doors as we found out after we'd checked in. The receptionist could have been a little cheerier but was OK. Our room was large with huge bed, looked onto a bit of wooded area. Quite out of date but was comfortable and clean which is most important. We didn't eat dinner as very limited menu at quite a price plus didn't eat breakfast as price of that would be ridiculous. We took our own drinks out to some benches at side of hotel and spent some time there. We had lunch at the Grand Café in Oosterbeek which was good and visited the Airborne Museum down the road which was very good too.

Hotel is always welcoming and staff are very helpful and friendly. We had to make a late change to our booking for a day later due to sudden family illness but the staff were very understanding and there was no extra or cancellation charge.

Artuso's restaurant was closed and as we could not get a reservation at another restaurant nearby we used the Julia's Kitchen in the hotel. The menu was restricted (it was a very quiet time just before Christmas) and a little uninspiring, certainly when compared to the Apeldoorn Bilderberg, but still a good standard. We get the impression that this hotel is more geared towards group conference and training courses out of season, but may be better for small family groups in the Summer or when there are Arnhem battle commemorations.

One of the most beautiful hotels and area in Gelderland. The ladies at the reception are always in a good mood, the decor of the hotel is stylish and relaxing. There are 4 outdoor areas to drink and eat and 4 separate lounge area, restaurant, bar. The pool and all areas are well maintained. Rooms are classy and clean. Bus stop is 5 mins walk with direct access to Anhem although Oosterbeek village has a lot to offer. I will definitely return to this hotel.

Lovely gardens and staff were very nice

We ordered two main courses which came with fries and salad. We had to share one portion of fries and salad between us! I asked the waitress if this was correct and was told YES you have to share. I then noticed a single person eating the same meal on the next table with the same amount of fries and salad as we had been served and instructed to share. We both went to bed that night feeling hungry after such a small portion.

The property was chosen mainly because it was pet friendly. We booked a pet friendly room, this was situated in an annex area of the hotel. Accessible by lift from the lobby. The rooms may seem a wee bit dated but they were great for us and dog. Plenty of space both inside the room and also great grounds for walking the dog. Although the hotel stayed no dogs in the restaurant you can eat your meals in the lobby. It sounds strange but you are actually seated next to the restaurant tucked away from the free flow of people. We ate our breakfast here and it was very relaxed with the dog. The breakfast was plentiful and varied.

Walk in shower would be a bonus in these rooms.

Good location, the upgrade was a much better room but we had to pay extra.

The 1st room we were given was very poor. There was a sick stain next to the bed,a brown stain by the window not even sure what that was with brown splashes up the curtain next to it. The toilet continuously ran and after speaking to housekeeping they suggested we request another room. The breakfast was €24.50.

The breakfast buffet had everything: from fresh fruits and different kinds of granola to full English breakfast. The hotel is surrounded by a nice garden, which you can enjoy if the weather permits.

Check-in is possible only after 4pm, which I find quite late. Room doors are heavy and close with a 'bang', this was the only thing that disturbed the peace and quiet in the room. I arrived on a Sunday and the hotel restaurant was fully booked for dinner. Best to check in advance if you want to have dinner there.

Friendly staff, room size and common area where good and clean. The hotel is beautifully located and surrounded by lush greeneries. Free parking. Self service check out for snacks and drinks corner.

Descaling of shower heads wouldn't hurt. Average but rather expensive breakfast. €24:50 pp. Uninspired and quite average dinner. Not tempered wine. Warm red wine makes no one happy. Watery drinks.
