Very cosy Dutch country style bed and breakfast. The one night we were there already two big parties - one wedding and one 50 birthday. In the middle of very green area surrounded by a golf course. We were on a bike tour and this is an ideal stopover between den haag and Amsterdam. Kids can also play and enjoy the playground. Room is spacious, quiet and clean

No need to improve but just remind the others: Hotel doesn’t provide dinner. We went to a walking distance golf club. The view is very nice and food is affordable and high quality but just not tuned for kid. We had to wait for 1 hour for the second course… it’s just not suitable for kid

The rooms have names not numbers and tje names are flowers. Our room was pick one ,decorated in this kind of romantic style. I love pink but this was way over board pink. The beds were 2 single ones joined together,very comfortable, beautiful view of the garden, SPOTLESS room and hallway. Friendly staf.

Perhaps our experience was negatively impacted by the King's Day celebrations the previous night, as the breakfast room floor was dirty with fries and breadcrumbs. The staff appeared tired, and despite the room being nearly full at 8:30 AM, they seemed more engaged in conversation than in clearing vacant tables, which I ended up doing myself. The scrambled eggs ran out and took a significant amount of time to be replenished. Furthermore, a waitress refilled the croissants with her bare hands instead of using tongs. The buffet offered a limited selection of basic food options, which felt inadequate for the €125 price. While acceptable for a single visit, I would not choose to return.

Location was really nice, quite with lots of space for the baby to play. Green gardens to walk around and enjoy the flowers. Lots of places to dit to enjoy the atmosphere. The room was good size, comfortable beds and good sized bathroom. Even the camping cot was made up really nicely. Everything was nice and clean. We had an early flight and couldn't go to breakfast, so they prepared a takeaway breakfast for us.

This place has a soul. We've spent an amazing night and day there admiring the gorgeous garden, enjoying heart-warming meals and the smiles of the staff. The kids have so much to do and explore nearby. And what ice cream they make! Also don't miss the chance to buy their jams and flower seeds, such a nice souvenir. Totally relaxing experience and something that has a special place in my core memory!

Staying in De Sfeerstal has been the most pleasent surprise for me on my third trip the Netherlands to visit the flower exhibition. Awosme and quite place, awsome personel and treatment, very good and rich breakfast, big rooms well equiped, very nice yeard outside full of flowers! and a place to walk around and half an hour away from everywhere!!! Being living in Greece we dont lack nice places here but this place made me feel like home!

Really lovely little hotel with comfortable rooms and pleasant garden. Access to a bar area after 6pm with tea and coffee (free) and other items (beer, wine etc) at a charge in a relaxing environment. Before 6pm there is a cafe with a good range, Dutch apple cake highly recommended. We'd stay again.

Hard to find things we didn't like, but the pillows were very hard for our taste and some better bike storage would have been good but other than those very minor points it was great.

Such a stunning location, and such a warm welcome. There is so much attention to detail here.The arrival / reception area is beautifully decorated, there is a lounge room for guests to use, with tea and coffee available all the time. The rooms are large, still very cosy, beautiful bathroom and very comfortable beds. There's a really homely feel here, breakfast was served with cups and saucers and checked table cloths! Little details like this really make for a first class stay. I just wish we had been able to stay for longer.

Great place to relax! Cozy rooms and friendly hosts and staff. Delicious breakfasts, they also serve lunch made from organic products, but unfortunately we were not able to use this service because lunch is served only from 12:00-15:00. But in the neighboring town there is an excellent St. Petersburg cafe and in the immediate vicinity there is a restaurant at the golf club. Peter's cuisine is very decent - we recommend it. On the territory of this boarding house there is a wonderful garden and an evening bar, open depending on the time of year until 17:00 or 18:00, respectively. If you want to experience city life, Amsterdam and Utrecht are about half an hour away. But you live and enjoy the local nature, canals, walking and cycling. The room lacked a small refrigerator and tea making facilities, although you can always use the bar.

Loved the luscious garden with the beautiful flowers and cosy seating areas. Our room was spacious and very clean. The breakfast, location and room were very good, especially for the price of the stay in this region. We also loved the shared space for the guests and the self service bar outside reception hours. We also loved the peace and quiet of the surrounding area and that there was plenty of nearby parking space.

It was a bit unclear where the reception was. Personally we found it a bit rude that a staff member was interrupting the welcome/check in performed by her collegue for a non urgent matter. Also there was no air conditioner (which is normally not really a problem in the Netherlands as we hardly have tropical temperatures), but during our stay it was really sunny and the room temperature became a staggering 27 degrees Celsius.

Brilliant location, everything was just perfect. We had a lovely room, with a garden view out of both windows. Breakfast was very good too. And being in Holland, the staff all spoke perfect English. Nice walks to be had by the canal too. Loved it here.
