Hotel located right in the center of the small, beautiful village of Aalsmeer, very convenient (parking in front, bar / restaurant on the ground floor with nice and warm decoration, good regular food and drinks reasonably priced, very welcoming ans smiling staff. Good room, large enough, correct bathroom. Overall, decoration/style of room and bathroom were standard and a bit old-fashoned, but spotlessly clean, well upkept - nothing to complain about for the price paid. Located 10 min by car to the Flora Holland center, 1 minute walk from the commercial street.

Nothing. All perfect. Just note that the parking on the square in front of the hotel is free only at night. From 09h00, you can park there for free for 2 hours with the "blue disk", then have to pay. Probably one can park in the streets nearby for free, but we did not try.

I found this to be a wonderful hotel in an excellent location. The Staff are very friendly and easygoing, and I felt comfortable immediately upon entering the place. Over the 4 nights, the room was spotlessly clean and warm, the bed comfortable, the shower and toilet adequate. The prices are reasonable, the food in the restaurant is excellent (the onion soup was one of the best I’ve had) and it is centrally located - everything you need is close to hand. Great place and highly recommended.

The WiFi could/should be more secure.

I loved how comfortable are the beds and in general the hotel has a cozy atmosphere from the lobby up to the rooms.

If you're using public transport the location is not the best. 10 to 15 min by foot of the closest bus stop and you have to do a couple of changes to reaching the city center.

This is an older hotel but it has a cozy vibe. The room was clean and comfortable. Appreciated the friendly service and the location so close to the airport (Schiphol can be easily reached by a bus and train combination).

The stairs can be a bit of a problem for people with mobility issues. I had to drag my heavy bag upstairs which didn’t feel very safe, but I managed. Also, there is a restaurant downstairs and people come for a smoke outside. The smoke smell comes into the rooms facing the street side if the windows are open.

I chose this hotel outside of Amsterdam due to the very good price. Aalsmeer is very well communicated by the public transportation, it takes about 30 minutes to get there from Amsterdam Centraal. My room was small but very comfortable. There was a small table and chair, small wardrobe, a bed. The bathroom was also ok, there was a hairdryer. The hotel was very quiet. The breakfast buffet had good choices. There is a Lidl supermarket just across the street. I also recommend having a dinner in the hotel restaurant, the food was very good!

There was a small confusion about the breakfast. It's not included in the room price but you can pay extra to have it (12,50 euros). I was told that breakfast is served on Saturday but not on Sunday and Easter Monday, due to staff shortage. So I paid for the breakfast on Saturday only. What was my surprise when I saw people having breakfast on Sunday as well! On Monday, the restaurant was closed, so that information was correct.

The staff at the reception and the restaurant were really friendly, funny, and helpful. The food at the restaurant was delicious, well-presented, and reasonably priced. The room itself is spacious and basic, but it has everything you need. The beds were comfortable as well, and there was a sun-blocking curtain. They obviously did some renovations to the hall and rooms, and the end result is modern and warm. I agree with the rest of the reviews that this hotel is really good value for money!

The bathroom is still not renovated, and there was some smell of sewage coming from either the shower or the toilet. I couldn't really spot it. But when you close the door, you don't feel it.

Fantastic value for money. I had to stay over in Amsterdam for one night unplanned, and I'm glad I ended up in the pretty area of Aalsmeer. The hotel was plain but offered everything I needed. The man at reception was more than helpful. :) Just take note that it is quite a distance from the airport - expensive taxi ride - and there is no lift, so, heavy luggage up and down the stairs might be a problem for the old and weak.

Check in (despite we arrived late / during prime time for their restaurant) Great, spacious room (seperate area with bed/door for kids). clean. Restaurant was very busy / typical dutch . seemed good but did not try it. Nearby other restaurants/ somewhat nearby airport. reasonable price

Location accross supermarket is not so pittoreske as expected

The placement. It was good for what we were doing. The food in the restaurant var very good. For snacks we just hopped over to Lidl which was jusr next door. Room was clean and fine. Staff was very nice.

Our room, 21, is the first room. That means that everyone walks by, and it it not very soundproof. Vacuuming started around 7:20 every morning. That was a bit annoying - as we heard everything.

Located about 20 min by car from Amsterdam, Aalsmer is a very pleasant town, a good base to reach Amsterdam and Keukenhof, but also to unwind with some nice walks not far from the hotel. We had a very pleasant stay in the hotel. The rooms were very clean, and the staff, friendly! Good value for money.
