This is a wonderful hotel. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable about Amsterdam. The Lobby bar and beer garden are fabulous we were extremely lucky with late August sun so the fresh air of the beer garden was amazing after a day in Amsterdam City Centre. Complimentary waters and fruit plus welcoming drinks served at 3. The room was spotless and maid service daily. The hotel provides complementary travel kits if needed.

This was my fault not the hotel but there’s a deposit of 150e taken on arrival it wasn’t a big issue but it might leave some holiday makers a bit tight so just read all the booking information as it was on it I just didn’t read it 😫

The Location was good (It was not too close to the center but you could have gotten everywhere very easily by bus which had a station in front of the hotel and it was 10 min walk to Amstel Station). Very Friendly and Helpful Staff especially at check out time. I liked the Personal welcome note in the room and also, the note for a drink in the bar was a nice idea. Comfortable Room. Wonderful bar. It was a lovely and amazing hotel. I loved the style, decoration and its vibrant energy.

I think it could have been cleaner. Maybe having seeing some stains made me sensitive.

We loved the design of the hotel, rooms, lobby, and restaurant. The service was great, the atmosphere was really nice every evening at the hotel. The reception staff were very nice and helpful, as well as the restaurant staff, and cleaning. The rooms were very clean, the service provided was wonderful. They have an amazing wine selection.

The breakfast consists of a menu for hot options, (eggs in many styles and 2 sweet options such as french toast or pancakes) and cold bar options which served yogurts, 1 vegan,one not, with fruit salad and dried fruits and seeds, and sometimes they had a good hummus with grilled bell peppers, and some cold cuts, however, didn't have many options for breakfast buffet bar as other hotels, do. No olives, no salads options, no green leaves whatsoever... They only had fresh tomatoes with no taste. The feta cubes cheese they had sometimes, some cubes where spoiled, older it seemed. Otherwise, the eggs from the hot menu were all great.

Everything was perfect. You can definitely pick a room from the hotel.

I find this hotel so relaxing. I love the design elements, all the little architectural details and the way it’s visually so pleasing. One of the other things I also really like about it is that it’s incredibly quiet. I am a sensitive person and I love peace.. I have to say though that what really makes this hotel stand out is the staff. Without exception every single one of the people we spoke to was absolutely charming in a completely natural and unforced way. Often staff working in a hospitality are almost forced to be fake by their managers. But these people just are really lovely and kind and open and friendly and being with every single one of them made it all just really special. There was no sense of hierarchy among the staff either. I really liked that too. And of course, the fact that they’re bilingual and so proficient in a foreign language is also amazingly impressive. I know I will be returning to this lovely place.

This property is absolutely beautiful. The rooms are huge and tastefully decorated. Everything about this place is top notch, including the service. It's also really conveniently located, just steps from the amstel station for trams, metro, and trains. For those who prefer no walking at all, there's a bus right across the street. You can simply pay with your phone for all of the transport. Another great thing about the location, it's away from the hustle and thus very quiet and peaceful for those who prefer to sleep in or want respite from partying.

I found the room service menu limited but the food in the restaurant was very good.

Great location close to Amsterdam Amstel station, walking distance. Spacious quiet room, very clean, nice bathroom and comfortable beds.

Even though the staff was very friendly and good, the one thing that was a bit on the slow end was the service in the restaurant. Once they notice you and you order, everything is quite OK, but.. getting their attention is a bit of a struggle despite enough staff being on call. Not a reason to not come back ,but the could be just a bit more attentive in the restaurant/bar area.

The room was beautifully appointed and very comfortable! Rooms are spacious, bar/restaurant is cozy and cool! Beautiful casual outdoor dining for mild summer afternoons and evenings. Wonderfully attentive staff and fantastic toiletries too! We arrived a little ahead of check in time and were greeted happily by the staff and given a very warm welcome! They offered a free minibar in the room with snacks and lots of water! From the moment of check in the staff were SO helpful, friendly and supportive. We ended up renting bicycles (highly recommended) from the hotel to ride around Amsterdam which was a wonderful way to explore the city and very easy from the hotel. Amsterdam is one of my favorite cities but the center of town can be a bit touristy! We chose this hotel because it was just a little outside the city center allowing us to truly enjoy the laid - back and beautiful atmosphere. The hotel was quiet and set within a lovely neighborhood surrounded by residental homes and trees. It felt a bit like being a guest in someones home (with all the fabulous benefits of a hotel!). We will definitely be returning to Hotel V Fizeaustraat on our next trip to Amsterdam!! 😊

There wasn't anything that we didn't like. It was a fabulous stay in a great spot!

The room was spacious, and so well decorated. The whole Hotel was well decorated! We loved the restaurant inside the hotel as well, and the staff was so friendly and helpful. The cost value for this hotel was unbelievable.

Not that we didn't *like* this, but it was a bit further from the city center by public transport than we had thought. Once we realized though, we were able to make sure we left with enough time to get ourselves where we wanted to be. It was also nice to come back to a more quiet area after a busy day in the city central!

The hotel is about an 8-10 minute walk from Amstel Station, with trains, subways, buses, and trams all available, making it very convenient. There is also a bus stop right in front of the hotel. The hotel's environment is very quiet, and the breakfast is truly amazing, offering both cold dishes and made-to-order items. The Eggs Benedict, toast with fried eggs, and blueberry pancakes are highly recommended. The service is excellent.

The only downside is that we stayed in a Premium Room, but the double bed was made up of two single beds pushed together.
