This hotel is nice, very clean, and close to the airport. We were there on a weekend and the neighborhood was very quiet. There is an Aldi within walking distance and a park as well. There are two bus stops in between the airport and this hotel on a dedicated bus road, so getting to the hotel is very easy. Swipe your credit or debit card when you enter the bus and again when you exit. Each rider will need a different card. The convenience and cleanliness of this hotel makes it a great place to stay for transiting at Schilpol.

Despite the fact that we pay 950 euros for 4 nights, the cost for breakfast was extremely expensive (25 euros per person). However, it's up to the customer if he/she wants to have breakfast...........but the negative point is that there is not a bottle of water in the fridge. A bottle of water in the fridge will not bunkrupt Novotel. There is a tap water in the corridor of each floor..........but 950 euros and nothing in the fridge for the welcome.

Overall the hotel was comfortable, both the room and the lounge area. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We checked in earlier upon arrival, and after check out the next day we stored our luggage at the hotel while sightseeing in Amsterdam before a late flight home. Really made our trip more relaxed. There is a little shop at the reception which is also nice, where you can buy some snacks or drinks if you can't find a store nearby. It is very close to the train station that has connections to airport and Amsterdam Central Station almost every 5 minutes, which we found super convenient.

Shower is showing a little wear and tear. We were informed at the hotel that they are having some renovations in the kitchen at the time of our stay, and therefore they did not serve a la carte, but rather buffet lunch/dinner. Would have loved to have known that in advance, since our child is a little specific about food preferences.

The hotel is only 1 station away from Schiphol airport. By Sprinter train from airport, one can reach the hotel within 15 min. From Schiphol airport, one can take Sprinter Train for Hoofddorf station, which is next station to Schiphol airport and then from Hoofddrof station, the hotel is only 5 min walking distance. For visiting Amsterdam city, it is an easy travel as you have several Sprinter trains in an hour between Hoofddorf and Amsterdam Central. The surrounding of the hotel is very clean and calm. You easily feel that you are in Netherland. To visit other tourist places like Zanse Schans, Keukenhof and The Hague, it is similarly convenient as you can find easy connections from Hoofdorf Train Station. Even City Bus stop is in front of this train station, so one can even choose bus option.

Nothing specific. May be if they provide microwave in the room, it will help some guests to organize their own food.

Nice hotel, only a few steps from the Hoofddorp train station (maybe 2-3 min walk). From the station you get to Schiphol airport in no time (5 min, various departures/ hour), and to Amsterdam Central in 25 quick minutes (6.20 Euro/person, one way). Why would anyone want to take a shuttle bus to one of the airport hotels when you can have this? Buy your train tickets in the app, and just hop on. Cheap and easy. Very comfy room with bonus couch, coffee maker/ kettle, and mini fridge. Awesome rain shower with Ritual products. Amazing breakfast, buffet-style, with anything you can imagine, for any taste. Unlimited lattes, cappuccinos, smoothies, etc.

The parkade next door. We had a rental car when we first got there and thought we would quickly unpack and shower, and then return the car to the airport before taking the train to the city. But the parkade was so tight with such narrow turns that we turned around and changed our plans. It wasn't just the stalls, but the ramp to the 2nd level. Didn't have a large car but if you are not used to such tight spaces, it seemed almost impossible to get up there. Not for the faint of heart.

The property is 10 mins walking from Hoofddorp train station. The reception staff was very helpful. In fact as it was spring, they even helped me plan my itinerary day-wise considering the unpredictable climate. Stay was very comfortable, room were vert clean and hospitality was fantastic. Clean rooms, Amazing hospitality, convenience of location, helpful staff all were a perfect combination to the most memorable days we spent at Amsterdam.

A bit of quick advice. The frequency of direct trains from Hoofddorp to Amsterdam central is every 30 mins if its a weekday, but on weekends it may get a bit tricky and you might have to take a combination of train, metro and bus on the weekends, so plan accordingly. Also, the footpath from train station to the hotel is cobbled, so dragging your heavy luggage bag becomes a bit difficult, thus make sure you have smaller luggage bags for convenience. Otherwise the property is fantastic !

Room + beds were comfy Coffee machine + kettle to make coffee or tea on room.

Breakfast always same + no ommelette possible. Scrambled eggs are not from.fresh eggs or I had to take the boiled eggs. Pancakes flavor were not good so child did not want to eat it. Exactly 10am (not one minute later) chefs were already cleaning + taking remaining fruit from the table! If you arrive around 9:30am you needed to make sure to go get all food you would like so you don't get disappointed by the 10am cleanup + closure of buffet table..

We stayed at Novotel Amsterdam Schiphol Airport for one night after arriving on a late flight, as we needed a convenient stopover before picking up a rental car from the airport the next morning. Overall, it was a great choice for an airport hotel with good service and comfortable accommodations. Check-in was smooth and efficient with 24-hour reception staff. They even asked if we had a room preference with a view and accommodated our request, which was a nice touch. The room was clean, spacious enough for two people with three suitcases, and had a well-designed bathroom. The beds were comfortable, and the AC allowed us to set the room temperature to our preference, ensuring a good night’s sleep. Breakfast was not included in our booking, but we were offered a discounted rate at check-in, which was a nice perk. The buffet had a wide selection of food, typical of a hotel of this standard. We didn’t use the bar, restaurant, or other facilities. The location is very close to the airport, just one train stop away, followed by a short 5-minute walk from the station to the hotel. However, since we were tired after our flight, we opted for an Uber, which cost €22. Check-out was quick and hassle-free. The standard check-out time was 11 AM, but due to a delay in collecting our rental car, we ended up leaving around 11:45 AM with no extra charge, which we appreciated. Overall, it’s a solid option for a one-night airport stay. While there are hotels even closer to the airport, if you don’t mind a short Uber/taxi ride or a quick train journey, Novotel Amsterdam Schiphol Airport is a great choice for a comfortable and well-managed stay.

This was the 2nd time I stayed here. The quality was the same as the 1st time. Also, we arrived earlier than the check in hour and the room was ready.

At the breakfast, if you arrive late there are a lot of tables but not cleaned. The lady at the counter that she supposed to recieve the people was staying on whatsapp writing messages instead of letting people go. There was a line waiting for her to finish. I gave up and passed by her after a couple of minutes of waiting. She didn't even noticed.
