The Staff. They really take care of your needs and the restaurant is just fabulous 👌. Renata is such a great host whenever I pass through on my travels. Compliments to all the Staff there. Really feels like home. 15-20 mins. walk into the main section of the city. Great little restaurants, shopping areas. Shuttle busses to the airport run on time and dependable.

The short stay overs. Wish I could stay longer. Such a great and friendly staff there.

The availability of the rooms for early check in. Plus the staff is so wonderful and friendly. Feels like home. I come often as I travel around. The airport shuttle is perfect going and coming back. The inner city has everything you need if you are the wandering type. Just a 10-15 min walk to the center.

I wish that they had USB Charger service in the room somewhere when you forget your connector. And complimentary water for guests.

The Staff.. period.. they are so helpful providing assistance in whatever you might need on a stay over. The meals are just excellent. The shuttle from and back to the airport is just great and on time.

That I couldn't stay longer. It's always a short stay over as I travel throughout Europe. Will be coming again and again..

The staff! Renata at the front desk was absolutely wonderful. She helped me with all questions I asked plus she gave me a complimentary gift which I will enjoy! Felt like home. The service was so great!

That it was a stopover. Wish I could stay longer to enjoy the city..

I like the hotel, its location, the staff and the room

Communication between the guest and the hotel could be better. For example, on my arrival date, the hotel's airport shuttle was not working for some reason, but I was not warned about this, even though my flight arrived after 18:30 and the hotel had this information. So, after waiting one hour for the hotel's airport shuttle, I took a taxi. I would take the taxi immediately if I had known this in advance.

This was one of the hotels where we stayed for a few days at. This is a good hotel for the price and location [we rented a car] as your home base for checking out places like Haarlem, The Hague, Alkmaar, Da Rijp, and Schiphol Airport.

We were on the ground floor rooms and at the very end of the hallway, so we cannot get any wifi connection at all. It was a bit inconvenient because we were here for a few 5 days I think.

The property was clean , great staff and beautiful room , got to enjoy the new chefs cooking , and dessert.

Not so much of a complaint but called the hotel for a shuttle being my first time in AMS didn’t really know how to take the bus , no answer, waited for an hour for the shuttle then took a Bolt to the hotel that cost me a lot more than whet the App said , leaving the hotel the next morning to the Airport the Shuttle wAs late .

Room was tidy and bright which is a huge plus because it feels welcoming

Very small sinks, someone with big hands as I would struggle washing their hands. Some of the guests were too loud (after 1am) no staff to tell them off

I needed a well-priced place to layover close to the airport, and Bastion ticked all the boxes. I enjoyed the stay.

It is a bit far from the center of town, but Uber solved the issue :)

the breakfast was very good as was the dinner. staff was friendly and room was nice.

had to take two transfer busses to reach hotel from airport. and no elevator makes it challenging to get luggage to second floor
