Excellent location, close to everything, friendly english speaking staff, complementary drink, very nice bar, food available and ice-cream, 15 min walk to central train station, balcony with room, good shower. Would definately stay again and recommend.

Leaving balcony door open at night as a woman travelling alone was not ideal as the balcony next door was close enough to climb on. Usual city centre noises at night but with the door closed would have been quieter, unfortunately was very hot when I went. Back entrance to enter hotel when bar closed is an alleyway but is well lit. Should be mentioned that this building has typically steep dutch stairs and no lift.

We really liked our stay in the Holt hotel, the staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was clean and cozy. It was very quiet in our room and it had a nice terrace. The Holt hotel has an excellent location in the center of Nijmegen and you can walk there from the station.

To get to the room you need to go up steep stairs and the bed was oke but not very comfortable. Also the Wifi wasn't that great if you sit in the back part of the room near the terrace.

Liked the view of the Stevens Kerk from our bedroom window and all the terraces downstairs (One must shut all curtains when changing though -as folks can stare right inside). Liked the bathroom -but cleaner forgot to clean the toilet properly -lots of dust and hairs behind the top lid part.. Liked the location very much. Close to all the good shops, streets and hospitality.

No breakfast available at the hotel -however there were many cafés nearby -even on this Easter Monday morning. Stairs to bedroom were rather steep. Reasonably easy for us but perhaps quite hard with suitcases for other (older) folks.

Everything was great about the room/property. The staff was absolutely amazing, helped us out big time when we were really late for check in they let us still stay and check in. Such a shame we only stayed the one night.

Didn’t dislike anything about the property. Just one thing to note is that the stairwell leading up to the rooms is extremely steep so if you’re taking big backpacks like us, be careful.

Hotel well located in the centre and about 12-15min from the train station. The room was very comfortable with all the necessary equipment and a nice little terrasse though the weather was not warm enough to enjoy it.

Shame breakfast isn't provided but I knew beforehand. Beware the stairs are quite steep (no elevator). If you don't have any mobility issues I really recommend the hotel.

A coffee express, and kettle in the room; spacious room, with a very big window, nice bathroom; very close to a grocery market, bars, cafes, some picturesque buildings in the old town, and a very close to a walking path along a river bank; walking distance from the central train station (about 15 min).

Street noise at night (I had a room just above the bar, facing a walking-streets junction). Till very late at night, people were making noise in the streets and at nearby bars. Early morning (about 7 am), various vans and garbage trucks were passing by my window with a loud noise. In the room, there is only a light-proof curtain but no mesh curtain, so there is no much privacy inside when the light inside the room is on.

The hotel has a superb location. The staff was fabulous, we booked a room the was bigger then the average room and we were thinking the bed would have space on both sides (as I was visiting with a friend, I didn't want to climb over her). The room we got had the bed pushed against the wall (room 2) and coulnd't be moved. The staff realised the predicament and gave us another room. This was at the front with lovely views. We also were surpried with a complimentary drink!

The lovely views turned into a lot of noise from downstairs (even though the resaurant was closed). It would have been nice to have some extra toiletries provided (very minimum) and things like a hairdryer, and an bin would't hurt, (felt bad leaving trash on the table.)

The cutest flat in the back of a restaurant/cafe. The room was really well appointed with kitchen gear (plates, nice glassware, pots/pans, knives etc.) Room 1 where we stayed had a loft with king bed and a separate room with two twin beds. Spacious and bright, including the bathroom. It was huge, too! Great for our group of 4!

The location was very ideal as it was right in the center with several restaurants close by (and near the station). The room was also spacious and comfortable with modern amenities (including a very large balcony). I appreciated that they offered tea and coffee in the rooms.

The only issue I had was that it was a bit cold at night and I wasn't sure how to make the room warmer using the thermostat in the wall. Thankfully, the bed comforter helped.

The building is a bit noisy, so at busy times you can hear other guests walking around and up and down the stairs. The room is lovely, but a bit more storage options (like some shelves or wall hooks) would make it even better.
