We only stayed for one night at Apollo Hotel Nijmegen, but everything about our experience was exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed. At check-in, we were greeted by a friendly and helpful staff member—Yuri (apologies if the name is misspelled)—who explained local transport options and recommended great places to eat and visit. His warmth made us feel like we were staying with family rather than at a hotel. Our room was spotlessly clean, bright, and spacious, with beautiful high ceilings and a very comfortable bed. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged to ensure a relaxing stay. The location is simply ideal—right in the center of Nijmegen, close to everything yet still quiet and peaceful at night. We could easily walk to restaurants, shops, and the station. Breakfast was another highlight: fresh, varied, and very satisfying—a perfect start to the day. Even after check-out, the hotel kindly stored our luggage safely while we finished our day in the city. This thoughtful gesture made everything so much easier for us. Overall, this hotel combines comfort, cleanliness, great service, and a personal touch that truly stands out. We will definitely return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Nijmegen.

I have just returned from a week at the Apollo Hotel. The hotel is a five minute walk from Nijmegen railway station. Check in was straight forward. The room was clean and comfortable, well equipped and was ideal for our stay. The shower in particular was excellent, large with good water pressure and temperature. This is my first visit to Nijmegen, the Apollo is ideally located for exploring the city and is close many bars, restaurants, and shops. I didn't have breakfast, but the hotel provides a continental style breakfast which looked very nice. Overall, the hotel suited our needs, the staff were very friendly and helpful. I would recommend the Apollo to anyone, thanks..

Great location, close to the station. We just needed a place to sleep for one night, so it was perfect location for us. The bed is comfortable and clean. The bathroom looks a bit outdated. But for a short stay it is ok.

It all looks a bit outdated, especially the bathroom, the shower was a bit leaking after finishing so it made noise. It is an old building so (as expected), you can hear the neighbours walking or opening/closing the doors.

The location was amazing, I could walk to the station and every landmark with ease, and it was really easy to find, next to the big roundabout. My room was cleaned every day and the service was amazing, we even stapled my sticky notes after they broke apart.

The shower space was unusual, it had a static barrier and a low step to keep the water in, and it would still reach the floor. It was also difficult to close the door to my room; but it was one of the only problems to exist at all, the room was amazing.

Location was great, room was as described, staff were lovely. Close to railway station and town centre bars and shops.

The landings and stair areas were in need of refurbishment Even though the room allocated was facing the back of the building there was noise from the street on Saturday evening although we knew this from other reviews before booking. Sunday evening was quiet. The price was a little too high for what it was.

The bedroom was very nice and cosy. It felt clean and offered good thermal comfort, which made the stay pleasant. I was also impressed with the location, right in the city centre, which turned out to be very convenient. I appreciated the small touches, especially the Nespresso machine with capsules provided. That added a bit of comfort and convenience to the experience.

It was maybe a little pricey

The hotel is about a 20 minute walk from the train station it's near to all the shops and attractions the first room we had the Tv did not work so the receptionist changed us into another room this was a larger room it was very clean with all amenities the bed was very comfortable I would definitely recommend this hotel if you want somewhere near to the station and the amenities plus the reception staff are brilliant

There wasn't any other than there wasn't any British tv chanels it's sometimes nice to have one or two

I have everything that I need in the room - fridge, coffee machine, airco for the summer. The room is of a good size with all the working amenities. The staff was the best - friendly and amazing from the receptionists to the housekeeper. The breakfast included is adequate but could have more variations. The coffee machine by the reception is a great touch to my experience. The wifi could be slower at times but I managed to use it throughout my stay. The location of the hotel is perfect - 5 min to the centre, 10 to the river and 5 to the station.

Nothing, everything was perfect for me.

Despite my room being on the side of the city street this hotel is next to, I wasn't bothered by any noise. I got a friendly welcome upon checkin and a friendly bye upon checkout, all handled quickly and friendly. The breakfast selection was no 5 course fancy dinner, but the bread with a variety of toppings and canned fruit I got were solid. Despite there not being a separate hall to eat in, the tables in the lobby are a fine spot.

The location is great, the room was comfortable and clean. There was a mini-fridge and a desk to work at in the room, which was all I needed. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I will gladly stay here again.

They room was slightly old though it did not bother me at all, it's not that different to expensive hotels in the region - at a fraction of the price.
