Beds in room very narrow. Room not serviced (replacement of coffee and milk etc) for 4 days despite repeated requests and reminders. Room and bathroom themselves immaculately clean but curtains on window were crawling with fleas - badly needed fumigation with insecticide and/or boiling

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Breakfast was very simple but fresh and biological/local products. Rooms and the hotel was clean. We had a nice welcome, and had a room with a great view! We would choose again for our stay here! Very good location, within the city but still quiet

Breakfast was "too" simple. In the shower the ceiling has to be cleaned properly from the mildew. However it was not a high summer day, still the room was warm and there is no airconditioning or fan in the room. There was a TV but without remote. But those are issues that can be solved easy and quick. :)

Stayed here four years ago. Still have to park motorcycle on the footpath. This is a cul de sac with plenty of space. The demolished building that is fenced off, still the same, so why restrict parking. No one lives here. Not directly within the control of the hotel, just thought I would mention it.

I booked this hotel as it overlooked the Waal River and Waal River Bridge as I was on a tour for the 80th anniversary of Operation Market Garden. Excellent location with plenty of nice little bistros down the banks of the Waal to enjoy dinner. The hostess who checked us in was wonderful and asked about our comfort and assisting with anything that we needed. Would definitely stay here again.

I was sad that I was staying there only one night.

This is an excellent hotel in the traditional Dutch way located along the River Waal.- quality and value. There is a bicycle museum in the next building with some extremely old bikes. Holland Casino is just a 200m walk along the river. Above the hotel on the hill is Valkhofpark. The chapel from the old castle remains as well as some ruins from another chapel. There is a World War 2 bunker on the hill in the park overlooking the river. The chapel and the bunker were open on the Saturday that I was there. Adjacent to the park was a great open air market also on Saturday. Not enough, directly behind the hotel is a museum of nature and cultural history. Shopping and dining along several streets is 5 minutes from the hotel. The train station is a 20 minute walk. Comfortable, friendly and filling Dutch continental breakfast with tasty coffee.

Fantastic location, next the river and bordering the park. Great value for money! Breakfast is phenomenal, and included in the price. Freshly made croissants, mostly organic eggs, yoghurt and fruit, local food.

It's and older building, so there is some noise. In the fifth floor, it was fine, but people on the first could hear more noises. Also, the pillows are square, large and not very comfortable, but that is a detail and deeply personal. Great value for money!

Really, and I mean really, nice staff. Location is great, especially with a room on the river side. Beds are very comfortable, and love the waterpressure in the shower

They offer secure bicycle parking—we saw six bikes already stored when we arrived. Right next door is a fascinating bike museum filled with antique two‑ and three‑wheeled cycles, a real treat for cycling enthusiasts. (Tip: the hotel offers discount tickets.) It’s an easy walk to the town center, and overall we’d happily stay here again.

Wonderful friendly courteous staff in a beautiful clean Nijmegen hotel full of old features and modern convenience. You have to try the spiral stairs at least once! I stayed in room 64, Single Room with river view. I though the Bridge may be "visible" from the window, but no it was 'right there'! At night with open curtains the illumination from the Bridge gave the room suble light.

Nothing it was perfect.

The tops o' the tops was the river view from the room window. Better than any television. Nothing really happing, just boats on the river, traffic (pedestrians, bicyclists, and motor vehicles crossing the bridge), clouds, sky, stuff.. yeah, brilliant. With this view, you won't be in the heart of the city, though it's not that far of a walk to it. The breakfast is tops here - high quality, organic... bio... something or another. It's labeled... and I could taste it. The best apple juice I've ever had. They've a multi-choice coffee machine. A good selection of yogurts, granolas, breads, deli meats, cheeses, breads toppings... good, good, super-good! If you ask nicely, you might get a pass to the next-door bicycle museum - it's quite amazing!

Wi-Fi is is intermittent in the room - sometimes ya got it, sometimes you don't.
