We liked every thing about it. The person at the front desk who turned out to be one of the owners was great, extending a what felt as genuine worm welcome. Helped us with a suitcase and later even wait in tables through the fabulous dinner. He was helpful efficient, kind and funny. Cleanliness and comfort is the theme, although there was no elevator (this is where he helped us with a heavy suitcase). Rooms spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great. Had everything you wish to have in a breakfast. Good choices, great food and very nice staff. The breakfast exceeded my expectations which were already high. Worth every penny spent. The lady at the desk when we checked out, was nice and patient with all my questions about Holland and Netherlands. A very long story short: Superb visit in a fantastic hotel and staff. Cant thank you enough.

Oudewater is a wonderful little town and a real find. This hotel didn’t disappoint. The room was comfortable, breakfast was excellent and good parking was onsite. The process for checking in was quick and easy and the staff were pleasant. There are a number of excellent restaurants a short walk away and the town is extremely enjoyable to walk around. We will certainly return.

The only downside, and it’s a minor grumble, were the young staff were quite friendly with each other and approaching them was a little awkward as it seemed you were interrupting their conversation. Only a minor thing and this seemed to disappear when older staff were on duty.

Great location in a cute town, easy to tour the surrounding area and close to the downtown historic center as well as a grocery store. Hotel had bikes and e-bikes for rent, which was an appreciated convenience. Good restaurant and wine selection, including decent half bottles, nice to split sitting in the hotel’s patio at the end of the day. Huge bathroom with good shower.

Breakfast was so-so. The bikes needed cleaning (bird droppings). Bedroom was attractive and bed was comfortable but the room lacked space to unpack or set luggage - no drawers or luggage racks.

Beautiful but quiet location, great staff, genuine welcome. We were travelling with a dog by bicycle and the staff did everything to make sure that our dogs needs were met and that we had a very comfortable stay. We were especially pleased that the hotel staff.made sure that our bicycles were secure inside the hotel overnight. That said, the location is lovely and quiet and the bikes would have been safe outside anyway.

Nothing to say really. Expensive perhaps, but that the Netherlands in general.

Nice building from outside, restaurant was warming with very good food & selection of drinks. Room was adequate, clean and quiet, loved the metal rack system, excellent for all your motorcycle gear all in one place. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Carpark area is at the back of the property which is secure. It's only a 10min walk to the small town square with restaurants and a pub.

Could have better coffee facilities in the room.

We cannot fault this hotel, it has become our go-to overnight stay before using the cross channel ferry. We love Oudewater and the people and would happily spend an extended time here.

This was our third stay and sadly this time we had some noisy neighbours in the room next door, who for some inexplicable reason were up talking all night until around 4.30am.

Our party consisted of 3 adults and we got two rooms with adjoining doors, which worked really well for us. Restaurant was good, breakfast was good, staff were most helpful.

The air con worked brilliantly in one of the rooms but not so well in the other room. I don't think it cooled the air, it just moved it around. Also, our shower tray overflowed on our first day (it was one of those modern ultra-shallow trays) so we had to fold up one of the hand towels and place it on the bathroom floor outside the shower and stop the water from entering the adjoining room. Next day, I fished out a handful or hair from the plughole and after that it drained fine.

The hotel is situated in the heart of the town of Oudewater, a delightful place. The hotel is smallish, but well appointed. The rooms are spacious and furnished appropriately especially if you enjoy designer chic. The beds are comfortable and the desk is of a good size for working at. Breakfast was adequate but choice was unimaginative. The restaurant is large, especially the light conservatory area. A limited dinner menu. The staff are friendly and helpful. It is a good base for the exploring the area. We used the good public transport links.

The location is what we liked the most. It's a quiet and quaint little town, with little canals, cute little Amsterdam. The room was nice big but very clean and comfortable. We parked for free right in front of the hotel. There was also a restaurant. We didn't go but seemed really cool.

The bathroom I'd say was a bit too small with a small sink, and the rooms were not big, but otherwise, quite comfortable.

The bathroom was quite small, but well equipped. Not a problem for me and to be expected when you are converting old buildings whilst still retaining charm. It’s also worth saying, I think I booked one of the smaller rooms, so this isn’t a complaint.
