The place is located in a picturesque place, it is very quiet without crowds, perfect from the logistical viewpoint - close to the station and the historical city centre. I praise the staff friendliness and helpfulness. The room was clean, cosy and the internet was fast. No questions about the breakfast too.

I have some vision issues and it was too dark for me, especially in the bathroom. For people with night blindness (nyctalopia), that might cause even more troubles. A minor issue was the peculiar online check-in, requiring a city tax payment. It showed the full price of the hotel. That confused me as if I had to pay for the second time. Weirdly, when the check-in process was over, no sum for the city tax was locked on my card and I had to pay for it manually at the counter anyway.

Friendly and efficient reception staff, clean room and a good size. Parking available, however there is a charge, even though the hotel car park was full, there was a car park opposite which was cheaper. Great location, 10 minute walk to centre along the beautiful canal. The room was clean and the bathroom a good size.

Although our room was a decent size, there was only a skylight window, making it very dark, but we were only there for 2 nights so it didn't make much difference. The food was nice but it was overpriced in my opinion.

The room was very comfy, had everything I needed. I loved the old-fashioned radiator and windows which could be opened, so it was easy to adjust the room temperature. The bed was very comfortable and the shower and bathroom perfect. There was a kettle which is important for me. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is ideal in a beautiful street 5 minutes from the train station and the centre of Zwolle. No car needed.

Only one thing: on arrival, there was an opened and half empty water bottle in the mini-fridge. Since everything else was spit spot clean, I guess it was just an oversight.

We found this beautiful hotel housed in a lovely older historic building extremely comfortable. 5 minutes walk from the central railway station and about the same to the centre of town where one can find shopping and a good array of restaurants. Rooms at the hotel are large, comfortable and well equipped. Showers are large with good toiletries and we cannot fault the cleanliness/housekeeping. Staff were very helpful. Front desk assisted us with info on the area and passes to enter the railway station/bus station. The bar/restaurant are nice and the evenings on the outdoor patio very enjoyable. Many thanks to all for making our stay enjoyable.

Location, reception, room and breakfast, all excellent.

The tea and coffee in the room. We only drink decaffeinated, couldn’t figure out the machine. Tiny portion of milk. We are English so realise this aspect was more geared to Dutch standard. Instructions on which way to get out of the station would have helped, we took the wrong exit so then had a long walk, late at night, to get under the tracks back to to right side for the hotel.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Bilderberg Grand Hotel Wientjes, and it was a perfect experience from start to finish. The breakfast at the hotel was exceptional. There was a wide variety of options, from fresh fruits and pastries to a selection of hot dishes like eggs, bacon, and sausages. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive. From the moment I checked in, I felt valued and well taken care of. The location of the hotel is ideal. It is conveniently situated close to the city center, making it easy to explore all that the area has to offer. Despite its central location, the hotel is in a quiet area, allowing for a peaceful night's sleep.

I do not like the situation where I must choose whether to have the room cleaned during my visit, on the day I arrive! This is supposedly for environmental reasons but I feel it is to save the hotel money/staff costs and does not benefit the guest. Other hotels offer a discount or voucher to use in the bar if you decide not to have your room cleaned. QR codes are not the answer!

The room was very clean, tidy and well-maintained. The bed was of great quality. I loved that the curtains were thick, so they darkened the room sufficiently. Shower was clean, water pressure was fine. The breakfast had a good selection of well-prepared dishes and routing was thought-out. Staff was available until late in the evening, also for ordering snacks, bites and drinks.

There were no lights next to the bed, which makes it difficult if you wake up (as the room with closed curtains was pitch black) to find your way to the bathroom at night. Although the shower was very nice, the usage (from bath to shower mode) was not very intuitive and kept me guessing for a long time until I found out how it works.

Every member of staff we had dealings with were friendly, helpful, polite and very professional. Received exceptional service from the reception team both on arrival and departure. The bar staff went above and beyond in service even providing a map printout detailing a local shop who stocked a specific spirit served to us after our dinner.

Very well-appointed place. Largely set up for the conference trade, and so just a bit corporate, but provided a comfortable stay nevertheless. Excellent breakfast and pleasant staff.

Nothing in particular, though if I'd been staying for longer than 1 night I'd have liked access to a lounge that wasn't part of a bar. My 'classic' double room was pretty small; paying more for a bigger room would have been worthwhile.
