Staff was lovely and helpful, our unit was exceptionally clean! Parking was also numbered to each unit making parking super helpful and taking away the anxiety of not having a place to park once returned from day excursions. The motel itself is conveniently close to super markets & nearby beaches. Would definitely recommend and would happily return.

There wasn’t anything I was not satisfied with so I do not have anything to write in this portion!

Location was great for visiting family in the Takapau area. Close to town and an easy to walk to the supermarket, shops and restaurants/cafes. Unit was adequate for our needs. Nice big fridge to store food and drink.

The main road can be noisy at certain times of the day but this didn't affect us too much. A variety in thickness of pillows would be great as not everyone likes a high pillow and we had four of the same. Shower was okay but pressure was a little low for washing hair.

Central location and easy to find. Very close to shops and restaurants. Lots of helpful information in the unit about the Hawkes Bay area. Loved the clean shower curtain each day. Lots of fluffy dry towels to use.

Car parking can be a bit tricky we had to back into the driveway to go forward into the car park as two large vehicles were parked in their allocated car parks and made the entrance space too small when we were driving a SUV also.

The CLEANLINESS of the whole facility and the wonderful STAFF. Couldn’t have asked for better. Highly recommend to all. Bed was way more comfortable than we expected, lovely sheets, great choice of pillows. Lots of blankets AND an electric blanket. Lots of towels also. There was even EAR PLUGS should you need them (we didn’t).

It’s an older motel but very very comfortable and well worth staying there.

I just stayed at this motel and had a great experience! The rooms were super clean and comfy, which made my time there really nice. The host was super friendly and helpful. I accidentally left my engagement ring in the room, and they went out of their way to grab it and put it in a clean bag for me. Such a thoughtful touch! I definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for a cozy and welcoming spot!

Our stay was last minute as we were tired and had 4 more hours drive back home. So we booked in. We had an wonderful rest. The owners were amazing, and allowed us to park our Caravan near the garden as it gave us good space to turn around, clean up our vehicles and rest up before heading home. Thankyou all for your beautiful space and kindness.

Check in was quick and painless - the people looking after us were great. We stayed during a storm and there were lovely woollen Blankets on the Beds to keep us warm and a generally coziness. The motel is close to the river and some great walks both upstream and down. Overall Waipukarau was a pleasent suprise.

Amazing place to stay, Staff are very helpful and friendly.. Rooms are cozy and warm. Beds and all room facilities are 10+ Star rating . Thank you Olivia and all staff. Cleaning lady is amazing at her job. A lovely lady to talk too. I will definitely stay again when on my next holiday.

Nothing ,, everything about our stay was great.

Owner was wonderful and let us check in earlier than intended :-) This was helpful as travelling with 4 teenagers we needed the space, so we could head to Splash Planet with plenty of room. We also loved the family sized rooms and felt we had more than enough space. Can’t wait to visit again soon :-)

This property was very easy to book, the property managers were lovely and easy to deal with. the room was clean it had the all the main things needed for a comfortable stay. the location was great, quiet considering it is on a main road. next door we had a Service station that is open till late. overall i would recommend this motel if your looking for somewhere cheap and clean with all the basics for a couple nights. I would stay again.

maybe could have had a bottle of water in the fridge on your arrival.
