Dayle was very welcoming when we arrived for check-in. The location is perfect, right down the road to all the handy shops, supermarkets & mega stores. For our needs, the motel was a 5min drive to the track. Our room was super clean, tidy, comfortable & cosy, it had everything we needed...compared to another motel we've stayed at, Omahu is by far the cleanest. The owners were lovely, helpful & were very kind, they went above & beyond & even did our washing for us as the washing room was occupied to house other guests belongings. We really appreciated this. We enjoyed our stay and we look forward to returning to Omahu motor lodge

The room and facilities were sparkling clean and the owners were exceptional. Location was excellent and the spa bath and heat pump were very welcome on a cold Hastings night. Had a great sleep in very comfortable bed. Special thanks to Dayle for her kind assistance in helping us ring through to the AA when our car battery died in the morning - much appreciated Dayle!

Everything spotlessly clean. Great location for sports event at Mitre 10 park Colgate Games) & walkable. Also if you have family in hospital. Friendly owner. This the third time we’ve stayed there & will do so again. Other visitors were respectful of others

Location is perfect if visiting family at the hospital.’ Mike at reception was amazing and friendly. No problem with the late addition of family member travelling with me and partner. Mike offered another room with extra bed for our moko which was lovely of him.

Could have done with a rug in the bathroom as the tiles were super cold but will definitely take slippers next time. Not a dislike but a suggestion.

Owners Dayle and Mike couldn’t have done more to make me feel welcomed and comfortable while my mum was in the hospital across the road. They organised other accommodation when they didn’t have space one night and helped me move my luggage. The bed was really comfortable and the room was spacious and clean. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.

The room was spotless and the self catering kitchen had everything we required. The bathroom had a spa bath which was fantastic! We received a lovely welcome and there was an extremely helpful information folder in the room. The air conditioning worked well and was very welcome in the hot conditions. We would have loved to have stayed for more than the one night.

We booked two rooms and we were so impressed with how clean they were. The owners were fantastic and offered to drive us to the farmers market. We were so grateful and it just summed up what lovely people they are. The owners and staff were very friendly we will definitely stay there again when we return to Hastings

Everything was great could not fault a thing

Rooms very clean and spacious. Well situated for getting around the area.

Would have preferred a separate shower to a spa bath with shower over it. Can be a problem for people who are not very flexible or have disabilities. Some of the rooms have separate showers but unfortunately they were all booked at the time we were there. We had requested a separate shower when booking but this had been overlooked. They did say they would try to move us to a room with one the following day but decided to stay put.

Staying with little kids, very impressed to come back today and find our room beautifully serviced and kids blankies, pjs and teddy's laid out on the pillow all ready for bed time. Bathroom reset was spotless and room attendant even did lovely arrangement of hairbrushes and toilet bags on bathroom counter

The staff and reception were very friendly and welcoming . Also great price . Great location and good size room. Bed was comfterble . Spa bath was extra great . Enjoyed our stay very much. Will recommend to others and if we every go back to Hawkes Bay we will definitely be staying again.
