Our 1st room (had an issue with the TV), so we were moved to another room for the following night, and it exceeded our expectations, the staff were so helpful and accommodating.

If i had to pick anything it would be the shower - this is a shower in a spa bath - there is no shower curtain - so the floor gets pretty wet, as do the surrounding walls and vanity cupboards, and the parking - some cars were angled - but then some cars were parallel parked - the parallel parked cars meant there wasnt enough room for others, which meant they were double parked - not so good if your vehicle is blocked in and you need to go early.

The comfortable bed. The unit was spacious, allowing us to have all our 'stuff' neatly put in one corner by the sofa. The heated mirror. The shower. The space in the kitchen area enabled us to have our little supply of pantry items nearby. The wardrobe, and good mirrors. Sufficient cutlery, crockery, glasses, and even a glass bowl for a fruit bowl.

Quality of the toilet paper. I had to wash some of the cutlery before we used it - it looked to be poorly washed. The net curtain at the door was 6 inches too long, and dragged on the ground.

Location to sports event centre nearby ideal. Booking was last minute, easy access & phone call to owners, close to petrol station, eateries, exiting Napier back to Gisborne. There is a TV in living area & a smaller in the main bedroom. Had good basic ammenities for self contained unit, includes 2 bathrooms, great for a family. Price was great for number of people it could host.

I feel the cold easy, one single bed had a electric blanket but couldnt find on the double I slept on. There is an air con which warms the living space well though.

Very comfortable room with plenty of space, and it had some 4 socket power boards so we could charge up our phones and camera batteries quickly. The price was only slightly higher than we had paid the night before in a camping ground, and the room had a nice bathroom, while the camping ground had shared bathroom facilities.

It would be nice to have a sink in the small kitchenette area, and some dishwashing detergent. However, this motel seems to be aimed at business customers, so we aren't surprised that it had limited kitchen facilities.

We enjoyed the peace and quiet of the motel. We enjoyed the shower. The bed was lovely and comfortable. The kitchen was very good and clean. The staff doing the cleaning were great. Thank you to the cleaning staff for the great work they do. Very friendly. We are very thankful for the non slips in the bathroom.

The television only had 1 channel. The heat pump wasn't going properly my husband rang the office and he got no answer. We got the heat pump going. The toilet can do with a hand rail, I found it very difficult trying to sit down as I had knee surgery. The toilet is low.

Large comfortable space plenty of room for 2 people or even 3 in the room we had. Beds were comfortable and kitchen area was well equipped would definitely stay there again.

Only think I didn't like was that there was no staff there at reception and the office was closed when we got there at about 4.30pm-5pm. We were contacted by text around noon to tell us our room number and where the key was located in the lock box with the code to access it. Which is fine if you were arriving late at night and out of office hours.

Spacious, good bathroom and kitchen , with enough plates and cutlery. quiet clean good TV facilities good but no one in office

Unit 4... fridge turned off and there was puddle of water on the floor next morning I turned switch off then on and seemed OK, needs to be checked needs lines painted outside to show clearly to park cars angled to fence no-one in office all the time we were there to explain about fridge. no staff anywhere.

Location was good, suite unit was very spacious and had two bathrooms. Modern TV and sky. Voucher system for Internet.

Overall, furnishings and chattels were a little tired (stove was old and well used, satisfactory, just not in the best condition. Paintwork in the bathrooms was again, a bit worn at the edges.

The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable to stay in. The staff were friendly and the hotel was very good about sending me details before arrival to help with my check-in! There was a cool and lovely bathroom with a jacuzzi tub.

Not much wardrobe space and hangers. Especially for the double bed in the living area.

I like how the rooms are very nice clean and tidy. Very comfortable

The only advise I can give is I noticed there are a couple of rooms without net curtains. It would be really good to see net white curtains in every room. Most do have them, only a couple don't though.
