It has been such a breeze with Ace High Motor Inn. Booking was easiest, getting ok for my dogs easy as. The owner's welcoming approach made this a great stay - a genuine Kiwi warmth. Super helpful made sure we were aware of the back area dog exercise place. Place is a little old but it was clean, good shower pressure, bed comfy, has got all the extra things we needed. Place was quiet and we had a good night's sleep

Loved the open feel, lots of windows all openable and sun streaming through the whole place in the morning. Real coffee in the cupboard... and no problem having my dogs there - wonderful! I think all units were occupied but never heard any neighbours which was great. Good air-con coped with a very warm night. Nice atmosphere at this place, great to hear the children playing in the pool thismorning!

Very clean and tidy with comfortable beds. Water pressure in the shower was fantastic. The kitchen was supplied with everything you needed to cook with. Enjoyed the swimming pool. The motor inn is in a great location just a short drive to the city centre. Would recommend.

Nothing I didn't like.

Rooms serviced every day which was a great surprise. Although motel situated on the main road, very little road noise heard.All staff very friendly and welcoming.

Noisey guest in next unit. Not the motels issue though. Thankfully they only stayed one night

Just one thing the shower, it was so slippery dangerous actually I brought a plastic mat to go inside the shower to stop from slipping or falling over. Cluttered parking especially backing out of the Motel.

While it wasn't as close to the venue as I would have wanted it was only a 5-minute drive away so that was good. They were very accommodating when I asked for a later check out time which my friend and I really appreciated.

The fact that they're pet friendly ment I could have my support dog stay with me

Maybe that room was the pet friendly room, although there was no odor at all there were stains on the carpet that maybe had been left by less trained pets. Being an animal person this didn't overly bother me but wasn't 100% appealing

Parking is really tight for larger cars. Pool needed cleaning and the complex entry and carpark needs a clean up and a clear out.

I enjoyed the friendliness of the staff, the comfortable beds & the positive interaction with my children! My eldest son is sometimes overwhelming for people as he has adhd & other conditions, yet the staff treated him normally which is a big thumbs up! Even when he wasn't able to contain his emotions, they did not grizzle or treat him any different and I really appreciated it, as did he.

Absolutely nothing, it was a lovely stay and the beds were wonderful! My son's (aged 1 & 4) absolutely loved the bath & the radio built into the wall.

Very clean, very comfortable beds, great kitchen with a full stove and oven. Good selection of hot drinks, and good toiletries supplied.

The only issue was the shower head was old and didn't detach, the water pressure was ok and could've been better
