The staff are very lovely and helpful. We asked if we could arrive early due an event we had on so when we arrived at lunch time the room was ready for us so we are very grateful that they accommodated us needing to arrive early. The unit we had was lovely and very clean, super comfy beds with nice crisp clean linen. The spa bath was lovely nice way to relax after a busy day. We loved that there are 2 tvs and lots of sky channels to choose from. Nice quiet location. We have stayed here once before and had the same lovely experience so we will definitely be coming back again next time we travel to Napier. Fairly motor Lodge is awesome!

The bed was very comfortable, and the unit had lots of room. The outside patio, although pretty basic, suited what we wanted; a private outdoor spot that we could use to have coffee or snacks for a short period of time. One of the reasons we chose Fairley Motor Lodge was its smoke-free environment, and we weren't disappointed. Another thing that sets Fairley Motor Lodge apart is the daily room servicing, which we certainly appreciated.

The only access to the shower was by stepping into a spa tub. There was a safety mat available but a sturdy, well positioned hand rail would have made the transition safer - especially when dealing with the drop to the floor when climbing out. Lesson learned: it will be a question I ask before booking into an unknown motel.

It was clean! It was spacious! Friendly staff, a quiet location. Great little kitchen with lots of hot drink options. Real milk provided. A huge and totally private courtyard. Heaps of TV channels that actually worked. Everything was really well maintained and a property that the owners clearly invest in.

The bed wasn’t our preference comfort wise but that’s usual for us - there’s no bed like home :)

Couldnt shut bathroom door completely.Was able to use internet on the Friday night, but not Saturday for some reason. We felt there is a Health and Safety issue as there is no hand Rail over bath to support when getting in/out of Spa bath as it is deep. I did bruise my arm trying to get out as I slipped and caught my arm on the edge of the bath. Had to wait around 10 minutes to get into reception as door was locked. Rang door bell 3 times with no response.Had to go find someone.

The host is lovely and nice. We stayed in a studio unit. Bed is firm and really comfortable. Pillows are soft and comfy. The place smells clean and fresh when we came in. TV has lots of channels. Love it how the door automatically locks when you go out. Soundproofing is great as well.

TV is a bit small but it's ok, they have lots of channels to choose from. The place of aircon is far from the bed.

The room was scrupulously clean and the little kitchen area had great quality plunger coffee. Our stay was only for one night but it met our needs perfectly.

The bathroom could have some new silicone to freshen the joins that naturally discolour over time with a bit of mould. But that is the only thing I can think of. It really is very clean and tidy.

Very welcoming staff on arrival, and very attentive too. I work in the accomodation sector and I wish more places could be this relaxed and welcoming! Spa bath was fantastic, and room was nice and relaxing. Comfy bed too after a long day!

Met Jane she was friendly and welcoming, a wonderful start to our 1 night stay. Location our room was directly across the road from the beach, went for a lovely stroll Sunday morning.

Did come across a chipped side plate and a dirty coffee cup. Otherwise my husband and I enjoyed our overnight stay. Would come back again.

This was a last minute trip literally booked on the day went with the cheapest option and this exceeded our expectations. There was two bedrooms both with super comfy beds even enough room in the master bedroom for the porta cot two separate stations for your suitcase to be up off the ground. As a family of 5 we were not crammed in feeling on top of each other, the lounge had a pull out sofa for a cute family night in watching movies, the kitchen had all the facilities needed, and was located just out of the main town but right by a beach access point super handy for burning energy with little kids! The staff were fantastic!

I chose this place based on the high scores given by previous guests, all of which were completely justified. Fantastic location just a couple of minutes walk from the beachfront. A twenty minute walk to a beautiful harbour, bustling with bars and eateries.

Could not fault it.
