We don't usually stay at serviced apartments, but on this occasion this worked perfectly for over the long Easter weekend. We were able to cook ourselves breakfast using the well stocked kitchenette. Sure the bathroom may be somewhat dated and the shower oddly small. However the bed was comfy (on the soft side) and the location a hit, with restaurants like Central Fire Station a quick 5 mins walk away, as well as the esplanade, MGT, and Ocean Spa. We pre-booked onsite secure parking which I would recommend.

Not much to say here, the bathrooms could use some love, the shower curtain was a surprise. Otherwise perfectly fine!

A beautful art deco building with the streetfront apartments very well fitted out and a good view across the city (a bit too much carpark in the view though, but can't be helped). Very clean, comfortable and quiet. The desk manager was very friendly and a great help with recommendations and ideas. Very good parking under the building with direct lift access. Central city location was excellent for wandering, shopping, meals and visiting the theatre. Not far to the beach too, but the usual NZ beach, not that good (surf, but lots of black pebbles). The apartment was spacious, modern and comfortable - we would happily stay here again, there is much more of Napier to enjoy (great wineries), needed more than our two days.

The Quest Napier apartments are located in the centre of town. The rooms are not large but are adequate for a short term stay. We found the room clean, tidy and neat. The bed was firm and the facilities are what you expect from a Quest apartment. The staff were friendly and accomodating to our requests. We would return and stay at this accommodation again.

Although it was clean, the shower floor had a broken tile which had been patched with silicon. It did not effect the shower but isn’t the best when you are standing and showering. The toilet is quite close to the wall making it tricky to sit. As a result of the toilet’s location, the toilet seat had become a little loose and moves (a pet dislike of mine). Quest has a user pays car park under the building which has limited spaces. If you are lucky to get a space, the area is quite small to manoeuvre and has limited turning areas. It’s not suitable for large vehicles.

Location & room were great but the bed was exceptionally comfortable. We rarely stay at a location where the bed is that comfortable. Private car park was safe & secure. Having city amenities close by & within walking distance was very handy & the overall price was very good when compared with other locations we've stayed in. The staff were very professional and helpful.

Housekeeping look to have forgotten to replace our towels even though we followed instructions and left the old ones heaped in the shower. As we discovered this after hours, we did locate a basket containing fresh towels etc at reception which was closed at that time so can only assume this basket was there for such occasions.

The staff here are the best. They make you feel at home in here, and they were accommodating to all my requests. The apartments are nice and have a well stocked kitchen for cooking meals too. Heating was great, bedding was comfortable. For gym goers, staying here gets you access to the full gym next door. Even if not for the staff, this place would have been great. But the staff here were the icing on the cake and made my stay here simply amazing. Would book this place again in a heartbeat.

Honestly, nothing.

Apartment was spacious with everything we wanted. The balcony was large and provided an excellent place to sit in the sun and/or to have breakfast. Even the shower had a view! It is an old building that has been renovated (was a bank) and so had character. Availability of undercover car parking was also convenient. Location also close to a number of restaurants and tourist facilities so didn't need the car once we got these.

Some may not like the shower over the bath and there could be a lack of privacy between our room and next door if we were both on the balcony - but nothing that concerned us.

The room was comfortable and clean, and the location was very convenient.

It was a bit difficult to find the internal parking initially. When I called, the operator answered and informed me that there was no specific parking slot, and that I could park anywhere. After parking and coming up to my room on the 4th floor, someone later visited and gave me a chit indicating a designated parking slot. I believe this process could be improved to avoid confusion for future guests.

The location for us was great, as we could walk to shops and restaurants, was very convenient :) Will definitely consider Quest when booking other holidays! Love that we had the option of cooking in our room as well.

The housekeeping service was good, however it could have been better. Our bathroom wasn't very messy so it didn't get a thorough clean like it would have if it was dirty, and being on holiday and when you are paying for a service that is what one expects.

Our host was so nice and she looked after our children and grandson, she was professional but like an aunty if that makes sense

The after hours staff made me feel like I was doing something very wrong and illegal, I felt like he didn't believe our situation, so was so happy when the our beautiful host rung me back and said I was fine and not to worry, I had prepaid so everything was done and we were ok. She was unhappy with the way I was treated and spoken too and would be taking it up with the after hours team.

Great proximity to everything in Napier. There is plenty of cheap all-day parking next door. The room was large, and everything was clean. The bed was very comfortable. We checked in late and checked out early, and although the reception was closed, the after-hours instructions were clear, and the dealings with after-hours staff via the intercom were great.

If i had to say anything, there was no natural light in the bathroom, and the extractor fan was quite weak.
