Yvonne, Lisa and Jennie were incredibly lovely and kind. We felt like more than just “lodge guests”. We loved the kitchen - cozy, beautiful views.

Could have been warmer! Bedrooms and kitchen warmed up but the living room and billiards room were too cold to enjoy.

Had a wonderful stay. Location, room, views, hospitality, other guests. Yvonne had great knowledge of the building, cooked a wonderful breakfast Was attentive enough without being overly so which is important. All was just lovely.

Shower floor - was all seamless so water sprayed out a bit and the curtain kept wafting inwards.

Breakfast was delicious

The shower had a nozzle that was hard to regulate. in the other room my friend had the shower had a shower curtain that stuck to her body as she showered.

it was such an interesting house both past and current history, lots of things to do inside or just hang out on one of the verandas and stare at the view.

I couldn’t stay longer due to work getting in the road

It was beautifully renovated and stylishly furnished. Just gorgeous. Beautiful views. Yvonne the host is great.

Historical building and good location

Building is a bit too old & poor soundproof. Shower box is no frame so have to push curtains away all times.

The house was a beautiful historical house. It was clean.

Felt uncomfortable when outside our room in the common rooms as host was always lurking and seemed to be watching us. We had some work to do and needed to charge our computers. We left them charging when we left and came back to our room to find someone had been in to our room and turned the power outlets off. This happened more than once and was very frustrating. Wifi was extremely spotty in our room. We mentioned this to the host and she was of no help and told us the wifi worked for her.

The building was charming with nice original features. The bedroom was spacious (but it was cold). The view from the dinning room was lovely.

The bedroom was cold with insufficient heating. The bathroom was cold. The location wasn't convenient- a car was a necessity. The price included breakfast but our request for an early breakfast on first morning was not accommodated (the continental breakfast was not offered- not even bread!). We had the cooked "big breakfast" on the second morning which was pleasant but small.
