A little bit tired but very clean, fully functional and good value for the money. Not too far to walk to restaurants etc. We had a great dinner down the road at Lone Star watching the AB's game. Shower had great pressure and we liked that it wasn't a wet room situation, but you could still reach your towels from the shower.

The parking. Unfortunately there was a conference on during our stay so there were lots of vehicles. On the last night we were forced to use one of the parks under the building, where we couldn't open our boot to put suitcases in the next day because of the low beams and then couldn't exit without backing out the length of the very tight carpark due to a Waste Management ute blocking the exit. I imagine it would be fine during lower occupancy times tho.

The beds were very comfortable and bigger than I expected. The swimming pool and laundry facilities were also a big bonus and the staff were really amazing and helpful. We left my 5 year olds necklace behind in the room and the staff went out of their way to notify us we left an item behind which I find really awesome

The room was not that clean, there were rubbish under the bed that was noticed upon check in. It seemed as though under the bed had not been cleaned or vacuumed in a while. There was no hand soap provided so we had to go out specifically to purchase hand wash. Also didn't feel safe with my 5 year old in a joint room where there was a door to the room next to us where it only needed a slight push from their side for it to open.

The sea view was awesome seating for two. The first night had dinner, in their restaurant, food was awesome. The second night, we found the RSA just across the road and around the corner out the back of Quality Inn Napier. Also, you did not need your car to go to town only 10 minutes walk away and skate ramp and playground for the kids just across the road. Also a big swimming pool.

If you have a knee problem, it's maybe not a good idea because they only have a staircase. No elevator.ButI I knew that from review. It's an amazing place to stay.

The property is located on Marine Parade, with our room balcony facing the sea. Magnificent! After the long drive from Gisborne we were thrilled to have a nice walk along the beautifully set Parade. Then we ventured into the town centre which show cases its Art Deco architecture and is full of shops. All this is at the door step, too. We finished our day at the Drift restaurant - friendly staff, nice food and wine. We slept in the comfortable bed and had a great hot shower in the morning. We enjoyed our stay at the Quality Inn very much and highly recommend it to others.

As our room was upstairs, it probably be very nice to have an elevator there. Or maybe there was one but we didn't see it?

- No bedside tables - Lighting can be improved - Outdoor Floodlights cannot be switched off - Curtains do not block outdoor sun/light on the sides, needed a slight modification/effort. - Access not easy, No Lift (Rooms in Level 1) - Reception not 24/7 (It is a Hotel after all - however this is quite common in New Zealand) - Security: Quite poor - Can be improved - Full Payment before stay

Good location. Friendly staff. Comfortable bed. Large room with big sliding doors allowed in lots of light when you wanted and good blackout curtains for when you wanted to block the light. Loved the bright lights in the bathroom. Clean large pool that was covered which made it comfortable to swim on a windy day. Onsite parking.

Dated jetted bathtub didn’t work and could be difficult for some people to access. Wish there were those handy folding suitcase holders. Somewhere there was a door that was slammed multiple times during our stay that shook our room!

Being so exhausted enjoyed the quiet and that I could rest before the rest my journey. The team were respectful of the no disturb sign.

One of the reason I chose the room was because the description of the room said it had a spa bath. It was a let down as that's something I needed. It wasn't working or it was removed. The other thing that was disappointing was there's no elevator to the second floor. As I was waiting for a flight I had 2 24kg bags and a carry. It was a strain carrying bags up the stairs. Be nice to consider an elevate or something to help people with luggage to second floor.

We stayed for 3 nights with our 16 month old daughter. We had never been to Napier before and were very happy with the room. We liked how clean it was and how comfy it was, it was perfect for our little holiday. We liked the location and being close to the playground and walkway for the marine parade it was beautiful.

The only thing we didn't like was being on the second floor with a toddler and our luggage etc we felt it would have been easier for us if we were on the first floor just for the ease of getting to and from the carpark and to the room.

Comfortable bed. Handy to all events at Napier art deco. Walking distance to waterfront. Cleaning staff excellent and accomodating.

4 flights(27 stairs) to drag suitcases up to room. No lift. Repeating the 4 flights whenever going in or out of the building. Step over high bath side into shower is rather dangerous even with handhold. Price didnt reflect the facilities...

The location is great, it's so convenient to walk around the city, it was quiet, parking was easy, and staff was kind.

The indoor pool was 20 degrees so it was too cold to swim in winter, and the beds were uncomfortable, and heat pump was quiet noisy so I was keep waking up, the bathroom window was stuck so we couldn't shut the window.
