We arrived later than expected because of traffic accident so planned to eat at restaurant . Was disappointed with Storkies ,didn’t know when open and when not Sign at restaurant gives hours😜but not open, nowhere are you informed not open at night Got text Breakfast open till ten Went past just after 9 sign on door says closed . Do you have to book???If so need to be advised Came back past after small walk and noticed people inside eating? Very confusing . Certainly not good for business and we decided not to even try again and ate out Understand winter hours would be different… but please just advise If I was a parent and planned to eat there so relaxed and had a drink in the sun in afternoon.. I would have been really pissed not having dinner sorted for kids.. then not able to drive🤪

Perfect stay, warm welcome upon arrival from the staff ! The studio was super clean and comfy with everything I could need !! I didn’t have a car and the location is great it’s a 15/20min walk from the art deco district and you can do pretty much everything within a walking range. Nice surprise: the pool was warm and I didn’t take a dip even if it was may and not that warm outside !! It wasn’t super busy as it was during a week and I really enjoyed to be able to rest, super quiet surroundings. I absolutely loved my stay there, would recommend and come back if I’m back in the area ! Thank you !!

The resort is conveniently located near various amenities, making it a great place to stay during our visit. The layout of the resort is compact, so finding our flat was quick and easy. The rooms were clean, and the beds were very comfortable. Both check-in and checkout processes were smooth and hassle-free.

1. Traffic Safety Inside the Resort Driving to our room felt hazardous because children were riding pedal cars on the same roads used by regular vehicles. This created a risky situation for both the kids and drivers. Establishing a dedicated zone for pedal-car activities would greatly improve safety. 2. Kitchen Layout & Seating The kitchen sits at the heart of the flat, but space is tight. Adding room for an extra sofa or some additional seating would make the area far more comfortable and functional.

I've stayed here a few times, I recommended kennedy park resort to my whole family an we all came in as one(me & 4 siblings),also had family come from all over the world to meet up here for lunch with our kui,they've all said it was family orientated,they felt warm an welcomed though they didnt stay,it was just a meeting point for us all as we had all attended tangihanga that week(last week)we had a few rooms for 2 nights that we stayed in,it exceeded all our expectations,the reception staff/housemaids were awesome an very helpful as well,highly recommend, the only place I'll stay if it has any availability the times I need to stay,well done Kennedy park resort & staff 💯👍 the photo is of all my siblings,our kids,our whanau that live far an beyond NZ...

There was nothing I couldn't fault.

The accommodation was beyond our expectations and we considered it to be the best value for money accommodation during our three week visit to the north Island of New Zealand! We stayed in a ground floor unit for two nights and then a motel unit the next night as we had decided to extend our stay by an extra day. Both were two bedroom, quite roomy, clean, comfortable and well presented. As we required a self-contained unit/room, everything we needed was provided and worked well. The bed was comfortable, both units came with a big screen tv, with cable channels. The facility itself is in a very nice and in quiet setting, with a good size pool, restaurant and other activity options. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We loved our stay and should we return to the area for another holiday, we will certainly be returning to the Kennedy Park Resort.

Experienced some floor/furniture/foot noise from the occupants of the unit above us the first night, which fortunately did not persist late into the evening, but otherwise fine. Not a criticism, however the facility is a little way out of town and unless you're a keen walker, transport is essential.

Nice place love the area where we were the big building hotel big grass area rooms were lovely . Pools laundry playground all awsome . Showers were great lil pressure though

The restaurant if it can not be run accordingly it shouldnt be open 1 chief 1 front person amd a whole bunch of familys comming in to order on a long weekend for dinner. We waited over hour for ours false advertising in menu ours did not come with what was mentioned the soup was not great at all the steak meal was a thin piece of meat not impressed for the price . And one of our meals in our order came almost 2 hours after. Got sorted with front reception of Kennedy park. But that was the only down fall.

Wow, an ultra-clean apartment in a holiday park with luxury hotel-quality standards. The box spring beds were fantastic, and you could choose between two types of pillows. Every morning, the friendly staff came by to collect your trash and replace your towels. A short drive from the city center and the supermarket. Very satisfied, especially for the low price!

You’re staying in a holiday park, so expect all types of people from different backgrounds. This sometimes resulted in some noise in the evening, but we didn’t mind. The apartments are not very noisy. They could improve the kitchen by adding larger pans.

There are so many things for children to do- heated pool, jumping pillow, basketball and expansive grounds. The two bedroom villa was spacious and well equipped.

The games room has been commercialised - it used to have air hockey and fun games to play. Now it’s full of toy claw games. Bring back air hockey, table tennis, pool, a big TV with DVDs and darts like a real games room. The porters tea bags are terrible. Some proper tea bags like dilmah would be lovely. A proper knife in the kitchen would be good too.

I loved the location, absolutely loved they let family into visit how affordable it is Bbq facilities were so handy The park were great Although we had some issues I would go back again probably stay in a villa next time as I were in a deluxe suite. Had everything we wanted just a little too small for my family of 5

The big pool were very warm and the little pool were cold, wouldve preferred the the bigger pool cold on a hot day.. Ants were an absolute problem in our room too, we brought our own ant killer for inside and outside the room. The movie room wasn't available, which were kind of disappointing I wouldve liked more designated smoking area as the one by the front desk is just not that Ideal

Loved the playground area, lots for the baby and toddler to enjoy. The 2 bedroom was great and had all the essentials covered. Good having the big bin and laundry close by. Cafe was adorable and had good pies and hot chocolates with marshmallows. Loved that the washing machines included liquid, though I wish I had known before buying detergent

Couldn't find the recycling bin, no bug screen windows which can't be helped, bummer that mosquitoes love me when the windows were left open.. the bin inside the flat was too small for the time we were there requiring regular trips to the big bin. Oh creaky floors which is mostly only challenging when we were trying to avoid waking the babies
