I loved the location of the hotel, it was very near to the lake although not visible from my room. It is also very close to the bus station - 5 minute walk. The bed was extremely comfortable and I slept well. The area around the hotel was very peaceful and I would like to go back one day to spend more time looking around the area. The host was very pleasant and friendly and helpful in giving directions around the area.

The breakfast was a little limited (I like fruit and yoghurt) but maybe this was just traditional Norwegian style breakfast. Anyway, what there was, was nice and everything was spotlessly clean.

This hotel has a long history and its old romantic building is well maintained. Location is good for enjoying culture as well as nature in Kragero. Staff is always gentle and kind. While breakfast may be standard as Norwegian hotel, coffee served in pot is extraordinarily tasty.

It is difficult to manage car parking.

Beautiful place, friendly and helpful ladies on front desk. Amazing views over the water on the balcony and within walking distance to town! I was on crutches and the access was great and found it the perfect location. Lovely breakfast in the morning.

We had the Junior Suite overlooking the water and it was a lovely space for 2 people. The breakfast had a good variety of offerings from hot options to cold cuts plus fruit. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate was available anytime from the machine and this was very welcome as the weather was cold and rainy.

The wet room shower took a bit of getting used to.

A cosy little hotel with very helpful staff and a nice location on the waterfront.

There is no lift if you have large suitcases. The staff did offer to help us with the luggage, which was much appreciated.

Location, lots of restaurants close- by, lovely breakfast that we had on the deck, great staff. Apart from the stairs and my dodgy hip, I couldn't fault it. We had a lovely stay.

Breakfast was really good - and sitting outside on the terrace was marvellous.

The fire alarm went off inadvertently, but fortunately ar 08.15 the Sunday morning. A bit annoying though. Ole friends got to park

Comfortable hotel in traditional building, almost directly on the waterfront in beautiful Kragero. Spacious room, comfortable beds, recently modernized bathroom.

Interior decoration would benefit from an upgrade. Breakfast buffet had too little room for the number of guests in the hotel.

Beautifull old wooden house in the centre of Kragerø. We had a spacious room with a view on the toen hall. Check in with a code was easy. Nice breakfast.
