While the hotel is not new, it is charming with a lot of character. We had a family room which was sufficient for our family of 4. The bathroom and shower were spacious. Staff was lovely and very helpful. When we arrived the lady informed us that there was a pool and recommended we take the kids, which we did and they loved. We also had a very nice view of the lake.

Road access to the hotel apparently changed recently, and we ended up parking a few hundred meters away from the property because our navigation could not figure out how to go there directly

Breakfast was okeish, it was not the best one I’ve had. The atmosphere was stunning which was created by the historical building and its rooms. Short walk from the centrum and lookout spot to the city.

We arrived at 02.00 am and had to leave again at 8.00, so very short stay. Hotel organised for us to pick up key outside normal hours - which was mostly appreciated. Breakfast was lovely. The whole hotel looked like a plce you could stay for days - beautiful.

There was nothing I didnt like.

This is not a big luxurious hotel chain. It is a very modest comfortable establishment with friendly staff and an friendly old Dog. I loved the place. It was exactly what I needed. I could even help myself with a coffee and a cookie, free of charge.

Only that Google Maps has not updated the way to get there.

Great views of Farris Lake. Nice breakfast. Comfortable room. Good parking for my motorcycle.

No wash basin plug in the bathroom. (fortunately I always carry one) Noise from nearby motorway. Swimming pool - no water !

We liked the overall vintage aesthetic of the hotel and our room was very pleasant, clean and nice. We especially loved the food (breakfast). Every morning we ate fresh ingredients and a variety of different kinds of food and beverages. The hotel has a very good location because the sea, shops, city center, parks etc are very close (you can get everywhere by foot).

Touring on motorcycles. Hotel with loads of character after the bland shoe boxes used throughout the trip. Super friendly chap at reception, informative and helpful. Served an early (plentiful) breakfast to allow us to meet the 7am ferry check in. Good location, hotel easily accessed with good parking and only a short hop down to the ferry. A short easily navigated walk into Larvik town and the eateries.

Basic clean room. No hairdryer or kettle but had a fridge. Little wall out of town but in a beautiful location near a fjord Breakfast is great. Lots of choice hot and cold

Welcome, Information, good clean room. Breakfast Had dinner at Larvik seilforening. At Seilhytte! Excellent Got to view the 'old' original part of the house..

Next time ask for a room away from the E18 noise. TV not working. Quite far from eateries. dont follow the 'signs to the hotel.. you will meet a boom over the road. This needs to updated.

The great service giving us exactly the type of room we wanted, a classic beautiful suite with a wonderful view and balcony.

Overall very happy and satisfied. Some more screening from a garage area will enhance the experience in the garden further.
