Vintage hotel. For nerds: Yoy wont get any closer to the birthplace of Henrik Ibsen, 100 m down the street (house not remaning). Absolutely recommended.

All ok - but it is recommended to check in before 19 pm if possible. After that you can check in through app. There is a road with some traffic, on the other hand this is makes the hotel more accesible - and it can be a start for exploring more quiet parts of Norway. Particularly the Telemark valley. There is a train Oslo-Skien every hour. Or maybe you arrive to Norway through the ferry from Denmark Hirtshals-Larvik (not far from Skien)

Friendly staff, clean, free parking, ok breakfast (some people complain here, but we found it simple but good). Curtains could be of blackout type, it is too bright in the room from early morning, especially if you are coming in late May - July. Then a room heading towards yard is better.

Friendly staff, good breakfast and comfy room. Very close to the bars at the Canal.For the money it is a good hotel.

No evening facilities. Noisy, probably worth packing earplugs if at the front.

It would be good to have something warm on the breakfast - one remark. In general was perfect next time I’ll choose the same hotel again.

Internet. Wifi router is OK. But connection router/modem to the public infrastructure is bad. Internet connection is lost very often. Very limited number of parking places. Unclear how to handle the public parking places (times, costs, need for tickets,.....). Cleaning of the room. One day they completely forgot us: No towels, beds not done, etc. On top of that the toiletpaper availability wasn't checked for a number of days. One night the toiletpaper did run out and it showed then that the spare one was empty as well! Lousy service.

Good hotel. Clean room. Good location, everything you need is nearby. I really liked it. I'll be happy to come back again

Staff was very nice, we came ať 6 pm and were offered soup and some refreshment for free, it was very nice. Beds were comfortable and everything was clean. Great value for the price.

The staff friendliness and helpfulness is excellent. The location is great, close to downtown and budget friendly. Appreciated the parking as we drove our own car. The electronic key and check in on the phone app was easy and painless.

Bathrom could use a slight upgrade.

I met receptionist Inga, she made us feel very welcome:) Room was really good size and spacious considering we had 3 beds.

I would prefer if bathroom was in our room instead of shared but it wasn't an issue as it was not busy.
