The host! He is so friendly and takes such good care of the guests and the property, it's rare to experience and instantly connect to a host like this. The house itself is also very nice and well equipped. And I got corn flakes with milk and instant noddles after a long day on the bike, and a bicycle pump, which was just what I needed. Value for money was excellent.

The location was in a residential suburb, there wasn't really anything close by (walking or easy biking distance). Also, when you book this, be aware that this is a guesthouse / airbnb, and my rating is for this category. Ofc it cannot be compared with a 5-star hotel or the like. I deduct 1 star because there was a bit of mold on the walls of the shower, which detracts from the overall great experience.

This was more than just a place to spend the night, it really added to the experience. Asle is a wonderful host, and the interior of the house is interesting in itself. Comfy bed. Rooms of different shapes and sizes. Ours wasn't huge, but we could use the rest of the house. Shared bathroom, and that worked well. Full kitchen for self catering, Asle serves breakfast with fresh deliveries from a local bakery, and with some luck, he will even surprise you with a dessert or something later on.

The location is a bit out of the way. We came by car, so no problem, but if you're looking for something within walking distance of anything, be prepared to plan a little. But again, with a bit of luck, Asle just might give you a ride to town!

+ Very nice host + Cool and unique interior both in the common area as well as in the rooms. I felt very much at home. + Free parking in front of the house. + Everything very clean. + Very comfortable and cozy beds. + Free coffee and cereals. + I would stay there again if I'm in the area.

- As mentioned before, there is only one bathroom with a shower and a second toilet, which might lead to some waiting time if the place is full. - the shower area will need some renewing works in the future

This is a property with a character, and its very well maintained by the host, who is pleasant to interact with and is very kind … He personally came to the Torp airport around midnight to receive us and arranged the free shuttle from the airport … The property is about 8-10 km from the airport and is split over 2 floors, each floor having 3 double bedrooms (to the best of my knowledge). We had reserved 4 double beds ( 3 on the first floor and one on the ground floor)… the host himself lives in the basement and I believe there is a separate family apartment in the basement that could also be rented … Light breakfast is available in the morning and you are free to cook yourself too

It’s not a negative, but one thing the host should consider improving is the bathroom/toilet space .. while they are kept clean and are well maintained, there is only one shared bathroom and one separate shared toilet (on the ground floor) for 6 double rooms (that is upto 12 people) on the ground and the first floor … it can get tight at times

Simply Everything! I would like to say a Big Thank You. What an amazing Host Asle is !!!! He was so amiable and kind to offer me Airport Pickup and Drop off Complementary!!! Also he acted extremely kindness when I mentioned I am going to have my pray at MOSQUE 🕌, He Generously dropped off at the MOSQUE Gate!!! Before that I was surprised when he gave me PrayerMat to Pray that he keeps for the Muslim ☪️ Guest. That's made me so happy!!! I was so amazed by his hospitality ( served breakfasts with his Perfect Tea, a special tea called CHAII !). Along with him, another wonderful host MAX, made yummy Pancakes for all of US ! THANKS to Max also!!! He was so kind to me to ask if I need anything, I may ask him! About House! Just amazing, peasant, comfortable in everything! I loved Asle's all the Indoor plants🪴 because I love nature. So it was absolutely what I needed to soothe my EYES !!! Also I liked his Cat🐈 , I cuddled too!!! How kindly Asle treated me, I felt not the First time there at all ! We had nice conversations about my Global Project, SAVE MOTHER TONGUE WORLDWIDE 🌐 , my books and workshop for the Multicultural Parents worldwide. He appreciated my Global voluntary contribution. Definitely will be back again by the God's grace 🙏

Great house with everything you would need. The host Asle was very kind, and made sure to have breakfast prepared for us as well as ample tea/coffee available too. If you’re lucky you’ll also get some very tasty home made chai like we did! Very clean room and bathroom, very comfortable bed. Asle kindly came to pick us up from the airport despite over an hour’s delay and us only arriving at the arrivals hall at 11:30pm. He also went back to pick up other guests from the airport after dropping us off at the house. In the morning after breakfast, Asle kindly dropped us off at the train station too. Definitely exceeded our expectations and would definitely come back to stay a bit longer next time!

We stayed for 2 nights and Asle was brilliant and made us feel at home, he also gave us a lift to the airport which was great! He really went above and beyond and was a great host. Asle is fun, friendly, easygoing and introduced us to another guest and the 4 of us played board games and it was great to get to know new people. The house was lovely and the room was clean, comfortable and spacious. Bathroom, kitchen and all areas were clean, tidy and well kept. Kitchen was well equipped and there was some shared breakfast cereals, tea, coffee, milk. There were 2 lounge rooms which had a welcoming and cosy feel to them, felt like a home from home. There was a fireplace and his 2 cats and lots of plants which was cosy especially in the cold weather. The house is close to a bus stop which has frequent buses into Sandefjord centre and is situated in a quiet residential area 15 min drive away from airport. Would gladly recommend to everyone and will definitely come back if I fly to Norway again. - Thank you for having us Aisle, from Tamsin & Rachel:)

That we didn’t stay longer lol!!

The property was very cosy, clean, warm and comfortable. It felt like a family home, with everything you could need for a short or long stay. The accommodation has unique character, something that hotels often lack, and a testament to Asle, the wonderful host. We appreciated the proper comfortable beds, access to a well stocked kitchen, free breakfast and coffee, and of course the early morning free transfer to TORP airport (thank you Asle!). Asle has put in a lot of effort to curate an enjoyable and memorable experience for all guests - it’s a shame we couldn’t stay longer this time, so all the more reason to come back in the summer!

A traditional house full of personality, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The host is incredibly kind and makes you feel at home, even if you’re only staying one night. The room is beautiful and tastefully decorated. Free snacks and coffee available. Excellent location just a few minutes by car from both the airport and the city center. Highly recommended!

At Klara you get a real Norwegian experience; the hotel is in a lovely residential area so you can get a nice sense of how the locals live. It was snowy when we arrived so the neighbourhood looked quite magical. The house itself is beautiful and even our room had Norwegian decor. The room also had everything we needed for our stay. We don’t have a car so we took a bus to Klara from the station and also used the bus to pop back into the town for some food, which was fairly quick and straightforward. Our stay was super short so we didn’t get to spend much time with the host but the little time we got to spend with him was really lovely. He is so welcoming, kind and friendly. He also dropped us off at the airport which was extremely helpful at the early hour. We hope to come back one day to Klara and actually spend more time in Sandjeford too.
