We stayed in a twin room with two double beds. The room was a good size, and the shower had plenty of hot water with good pressure. The building itself is charming and full of character. It’s also very quiet, offering a peaceful stay. The staff were friendly and helpful. Credit card payments are accepted, which is convenient. The Wi-Fi can be a little unreliable at times but generally works fine. The location is excellent — just a short walk to the main town where you’ll find plenty of restaurants, street food, and bars. There’s also a lovely veranda on both the ground and first floors, perfect for relaxing. I would happily stay here again.

Great staff, very clean place, the pizza in front of it is 100% worth trying. The room was comfortable, new AC, bed was good, but I felt that the pictures here didn't really translate into reality, maybe it was the room I took. I would book it again, but don't go expecting exactly the pictures of the rooms you see here.

Great location only one block away from the dive center and my favorite bar - The staff was very friendly, I was given a room on the bottom floor, which for next time I would prefer the top floor. The room was clean and the bedding was comfortable. AC and TV both worked fine. The bathroom a bit small. They offer coffee and tea near reception that was very nice.

Old fashioned hotel right on bocas town facing the waterfront. Small room great for sleeping and showering after full day tours. There is a small restaurant right down stairs which came in handy with all the rain we got.

Could get a bit of upgrades the electrical outlets where old and our room only had one in the bathroom and one by the bed. Other than that it was great.

Close to water taxis, restaurants, cafes, shops and buses. My bed was huge and comfortable. The staff were all super helpful, especially Greg at reception and friendly. Always happy to see me. The breakfast at the Buena Vista restaurant was fabulous! Great veranda to relax and watch the water crafts coming and going, with a nice gentle afternoon breeze. Unlimited tea and coffee making 24/7 plus filtered water. Hot shower!

The room was super comfortable, very clean. I loved the style of the hotel, it was modern but had like this classic vibe to it, really spacious hallways and the original wood floors. It was incredibly well done.

Don't really have much to say here, it was great. Only recommendation would be to maybe have wash cloths available. The soap and shampoo dispenser was great, but without a loofa or brush it's tough to get a good scrub.

Great Customer service, staff really attentive, proactive and ready to help. Very good location, safe and quiet neighbourhood. Very good option for resting and exploring Bocas del Toro. I was allowed to check out late for free, at 4:30pm, since I had a late flight. THUMBS UP! :) I had a great time at Gran Hotel Bahia. I recommend it for your stay in Bocas del Toro.

The location was excellent. We appreciated the free coffee/ water dock and the upstairs veranda overlooking the water.

There was an outdoor light outside our bedroom window which we repeatedly had to ask to be turned off at night. We had to hang towels over the curtains or our room was bright as day. Also worth mentioning that breakfast is not onsite but in a restaurant a short distance away.

The Gran Hotel Bahia is a lovely property located in the heart of Bocas town. It is a historical building with lots of character and an amazing 2nd floor veranda. No, there is no pool, but that is not what this property is pretending to be. The staff was wonderful and we had a great stay.

With all the amazing coffee in Panama, it would be nice if they figure out a way to offer more than instant coffee for morning wake up. Not a deal breaker, just an observation!

The room was spacious and the location is good. We stairs in the first floor which has a very convenient common balcony with great views. It has presented the old and beautiful architecture

Tye shower was not great but I would stay in the hotel again.
