We stayed in a fairly modern two-bedroom apartment, which had a small kitchen where we were able to cook breakfast. The apartment itself was a good size — the bedrooms and bathroom were spacious enough, and there was a basic living area with a table for meals. It would have been helpful to have access to running water outside to rinse off sand after the beach, or at least a broom in the apartment to help manage it. We did come across a few bugs during our stay — not unexpected on an island — but be warned about sandflies. Despite the issues, I would consider staying here again if a proper clean was done before check-in.

Unfortunately, cleanliness was an issue. It didn’t feel like the apartment had been properly cleaned before our arrival. The floors and kitchen surfaces were dusty, and we had to wash the plates, pots, and pans before using them. The shower room had quite a bit of mould and really needed a deep clean with bleach. We even had to clean the toilet before using it

It was very clean, great view, close to a lot with a water taxi or walk. Though bring or bug spring!! Staff was great.

Need a fan above deck for air movement. The loud music that went on till early hours of the morning, but I one that can sleep through it so it someone is a light sleeper. The shut off of water and electricity from 11:00 to 3:00 ish, every other day? Just ask, should put notices up for people that stay there.

Great location at the beach, big apartment with large sleeping rooms and comfy beds. Great living room and well equipped kitchen. Nice balcony with garden set to sit in with seaview.

Wifi was a bit sketchy and even dropped out for a couple of hours. The shower jet was only warm when it was really weak; making it stronger turned it cold. Lots of sandflies so always have to use spray against those.

Loved the view, can't beat oceanfront! The condo is huge, very clean, light and bright. We had a third floor unit with big balcony and comfy furniture to lounge on. Kitchen had everything we needed. Loved sitting on the balcony with coffee in the morning. It is a small island so even having AC in the bedrooms was a huge bonus. Water taxi dock is right out front and $1 ride to Bocas town. Easy even with 2 big suitcases. Excellent place to stay if you want calm water to wade in for small kids, and if you walk further down there are larger waves. Walk 10 minutes or so to the right of the condo (if looking at it from the water) for an excellent beach, and even closer is Bibi's over the water restaurant with amazing ceviche and live music. Five minutes in the other direction is a decent sized store for groceries and water.

This is not a reflection on the condo at all, but in our three nights we heard music (bass) until between 1-3am coming from over the water night clubs. It was really loud, and apparently it is also like this in Bocas Town. The condo is well built and has double paned windows so I imagine it is probably a lot worse in any other bnb/guest house. The chitres (no see ums) are bad before sunset and after sunrise. My husband got no bites, but I looked like I had chicken pox when I got home. There is all kinds of advice out there but I brought repellent wipes with DEET and that worked great after I learned my lesson the first day. Bring some sort of after bite cream as the bites itch like crazy

Breakfast was on location and it was plentiful for the price. Wi-Fi, small refrigerator, kitchenette and air conditioning was available and good. The manager, Maricela, and her son were excellent! Both were welcoming, friendly and helpful in every way! The local people were all very nice as well. The room was cleaned every day and the entire property was clean and presentable at all times. You could also easily walk to several restaurants with live music near by. It was easy and cheap to take water taxis from Kevin's Condos anywhere you want to go, including Bocas Town and other islands. All in all, it was very pleasant, quiet and relaxing stay. We will definitely go back.

Everything in our room was great but the bed was hard. Maybe a few more hand towels as we only had one between us. I am sure the manager would have provided us as many as we needed if we had requested it. The number of bath towels was fine.

our location was poor due to a noisy bar that played loud music till around four am. The neighbourhood and the market was very dirty garbage and dog poop. Since the water is in drinkable the business should provide drinking water.

The apartment was very big. We had plenty of room for a party of 5. It was very clean and every day cleaned again. It's 2 minutes from the main island but still far enough so you can enjoy the quiet, the beauty and relax. Adriano was always there to help and recommend us on things to do. Thank you very much for the wonderful stay!

There is AC only in the bedrooms. I wish there would be another one in the living room. But still, the cool from the bedrooms gets to the other parts of the apartment.

Loved waking up to this view! Friendly welcome by reception. Huge comfortable apartment with everything we needed for a family of five with young children (space and laundry service!). We walked to lunch and dinner (Bibi’s, Leaf Eaters, Coquitos Beach) and the supermarket for breakfast items to make our own. Keep walking past Bibi’s for the best swimming beach, shaded by palms and idyllic.

You can still hear the music from Bocas town! Not that many food options, but so easy to get a water taxi across to town if needed.

The property was very clean. Daily freshening up by the staff was appreciated.

The outdoor space was lovely however there wasn’t any shade on the deck. It was so hot we were not able to use it but there was lots of shade in the island itself.

we liked the condo a lot - sea-oriented balcony, kitchen well equipped, sleeping room facing the garden (meaning darkness which is very rare), nice people running the place and we were very happy to stay on Carenero

we missed bigger/comfier sofas in the living room and on the balcony the sleeping room had no fly nets neither at the window nor at the balcony
