Not too far from Main Street maybe a 5-10 minute walk and close to other nice restaurants, shops and cafes. Host was very nice and friendly we were allowed to check in early which was great and he offered to let us keep our bags there after checkout too. Gave us two sets of keys which is great when you’re in a group. The listing states that there’s building works nearby and there was so this was fine for us as we knew before arriving and we wake up around the time it starts anyway. Hot shower was great as these are hard to find sometimes! WiFi was strong, oven worked and Aircon worked well.

Nothing it was a great stay

Sun Havens is an excellent location for budget travellers who want independence with large comfortable rooms, kitchen facilities, value for money and well positioned for the best bars, restaurants, supermarkets in the nearby streets. The Sea is one street away. Be warned that very loud roadworks are happening outside the building which can go on all night and will continue for a few months probably until November. If you are going to Bocas for partying or diving then it won't matter to you but if you want a peaceful retreat try another island or come back another year!

I stayed a week. The apartment was clean, Air-conditioning was super, and it had cable tv with movie and documentary channels. The host was always helpful via WhatsApp and booking app. He gave me many advices for places to eat and tours. I met him in person and he is a clever guy with awesome sense of humour. They cleaned every 2-3 days or on request respecting your privacy 100%! Super value for money near to everything. The hight light was to wake up with the sounds of the birds in a tropical environment. For the prices and service it was a bargain. Thank you Mr Mauricio.

We stayed here for a week after living in a tiny Bocas apartment for 4 months and really enjoyed it. Our hotel room alone was about 3 times the size of the apartment we'd been living in, not to mention the giant balcony with ocean views. This was a huge treat for us, especially as we were travelling with a dog. The location is great, it's on very peaceful and quiet street, but still has bars and restaurants within walking distance. Great value for the money, would stay again.

The only updates that I would suggest is repairing the gate locking mechanism (had a lot of issues with one of our gate keys) and replacing the pillows (they were pretty flimsy). It was fine for a short stay but wouldn't want to deal with these issues for a longer stay.

I've been coming to stay at Sun Havens over the years, and notice and appreciate the upgrades they give the rooms. This time I stayed in the micro-suite, as well as another apartment. There is now a small laundry basket and a broom/dustpan in each of the apartments. How convenient! I was happy to be able to keep my place neat while staying there. The micro-suite is basically like living in a converted van, small but comfy with all of the amenities. The bunk beds were comfortable to sleep in (firm mattress), there was hot water in the shower, there is even a full length mirror. The only suggestion is to perhaps add a few hooks on the walls so there is more space to hang clothes/small bags but it didn't take away from my experience, I was happy to stay there. I'll be back!

I loved my stay here. I was sick at the time so I needed a place to rest and it was perfect. The beds were comfortable, the A/C was perfect and quiet. I had a good night sleep. Everything was very clean, they also had room service. And the little terrace was cute as well. I extended one more night, that was no problem. The staff is really nice too. I'd come here again.

It would have been nice to have basics like salt, pepper and oil in the kitchen .. and a kettle.

Maurizio is awesome. Super friendly and helpful. The location is good; a few blocks away from 'downtown' but easily walkable. There are a handful of decent restaurants and a couple of mercados within the 2 to 10 block range. The room was about the size we expected. The sleeping area is fine, and has an air conditioner (yay!). The bathroom felt a bit small but I'm also 6'2" and 245 pounds so I'm used to that. Most bathrooms feel a bit small to me. The street out front is pretty well-trafficked but we didn't notice it except when we went outside. It didn't feel noisy in the room.

The futon that serves as a couch wouldn't latch in the upright position but it wasn't an issue as we weren't spending a lot of time sitting around in the main space. I let M know about it when we were checking out. He seemed genuinely surprised to hear it was broken and promised to look at it before the room was occupied again.

The staff are fantastic and very accommodating. The room is spacious. The water is hot, pressurized, and sufficient. The air conditioner works and is cold and consistent. The location is quiet, yet close enough to get to the main area of town.

The beds are not very comfortable. They are cheap spring mattresses, that make noise when you move around on them and are just not comfy. They are the same beds in the other apartment we stayed in the week prior. There is a balcony light that is on all night, and shines through the thin curtains, lighting up the room. There is no way of turning it off.

My room was clean and quiet. Service was good and the location wasn't too far from downtown. here is a store (3R mall) a block away. Overall, a very nice stay.

There was noise due to the city putting in new pipes and a sidewalk but that's not Sunhaven's fault and they only made noise during the day. They didn't have a microwave and you have to provide your own coffee.

The apartments have everything you need, kitchen with coffee maker and cookware, beds, table, and hot water in the shower. This is usually my first choice to stay in town, good value for the money, and I like being able to make my own coffee; it's easy to get a single serving packet of coffee at the nearby grocery stores. The hosts are kind and attentive. One time the cooking stove gas ran out, and they replaced it in the morning the next day. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a well-rounded, budget-friendly place to stay.
