The hotel has an amazing waterfront location and is the best property if you want to be able to step right out to all the bars and restaurants or hop on to a water taxi to a nearby island. It is all steps away. Inside the property you have a little oasis with a pool with a swim up bar, restaurant, great views from your private sun deck or waterfront loungers, and you forget that you are on the Main Street. The room was small, but very clean and perched right over the water. Bed was very comfortable and noise was not an issue.

Expensive for Bocas but we loved the location and would stay here again!

Our room was excellent. Large, comfortable, even equipped with a kitchen and utensils. It had a nice view of the city. We had no problems with noise, even though we were pretty much in the city center. Everything is a quick walk away, and there are multiple boat terminals nearby. This is pretty much the only place with a pool, so it has a bit advantage there. In other places we've stayed at we don't have much to do if there are a couple hours to space, but here we can go chill near the pool, recharge, or have a drink or snack. The food in the restaurant is truly excellent. Even the included breakfast is really exceptional. The service is good, and even if this is one of the pricier places around, it's still cheap and an amazing value.

- The hotel was very nice. We stayed in a King's Suite with Ocean View and the view was definitely worth it! The room size also pleasantly surprised and the room generally had everything you need. Also very clean. - Enrique was a very helpful and friendly receptionist that contributed to the general pleasant impression of the hotel. - The food as well as the restaurant staff were nice.

- The hotel held some money on my card and when I arrived I expected to pay the difference (as it usually goes in other places). It also was not a damage deposit. However, I was told that I had to pay the full amount. I wanted to contact Booking.com's customer service to clarify the situation. While I was waiting for their reply (a couple of days), one of the receptionists kept asking me when I was going to pay and at one point she said to me that I was not paying because I didn't have money on my account. Very poor handlng of the situation and just outright rude. - Although the hotel was nice, it was still slightly too expensive for what it was.

The ambience of the restaurant, pool, rooms was great. The bed were comfortable and living spaces had everything. We stayed one night at the two bedroom suite and two in the penthouse. The two bedroom suite was called the birdhouse which isn’t stated on booking. I enjoyed that my family and I were picked up at the pool for our excursions. The bar was great, drinks were hand crafted each time! The check in was easy though I upgraded to the bigger penthouse. It was offered a free change but when double checked it was a charge. That was fine. The lady with the blonde hair was amazing,front desk. She was very helpful the entire stay and even when we checked out.

The waitress was not the best. We had 2 fluent Spanish speakers in my group (7 of us total) the waitress frustration was not hidden when she couldn’t communicate with us clearly. She gave very annoyed and so were we after she displayed her attitude and especially because it was issues receiving our food. I paid $2 and change for one slice of turkey which was an add on to our $9 breakfast. It should’ve been 2-3 slices for that price not just one. We had a male one morning & everything was smooth. The bar was great but could use two bartenders making drinks, I seen there was help but 1 bartender making drinks was not it especially the day the pool in open to the island.

Great hotel, nicely decorated and with nice location in the middle of town as well. Pool area was great with comfy sunbeds, not possible to jump in the ocean because of harbour area. Room was huge, bathroom as well. Robes, pool towels and very nice and large smartTV. Balcony with comfortable chairs. Food at the restaurant was great as well, although we only had breakfast and lunch here. Free water refils were fantastic.

Everything about the room was great. Some of the staff boys were really nice and helpfull, always smiling, whereas some other staff looked like they really had a bad day. Happy hour only on Mondays :(

Best location, couple of meters away from the boat station where you get dropped off. All popular restaurants and supermarkets are very close. One of the few hotels with a pool, it’s ocean front. If you take a tour you will be picked up and dropped off right at the hotel’s deck ( this was priceless ) in this way you don’t have to walk o carry your stuff around the island. The food was good and with average prices for bocas del toro. Staff, were all very cool and attentive, not a single bad experience with staff being rude or unresponsive. After this stay I don’t see myself booking other hotel while in bocas

The Hotel is lovely. The room was spotless, the pool and bar were amazing, perfect for cooling down and relaxing after a day exploring. The staff at the hotel are extremely helpful with anything you need from booking trips to providing advice. We had booked 4 nights here but I was ill on the last night. The staff were amazing, we booked an extra night, they rearranged our transfer for us and made sure we could move straight from one room to the other (the one we had originally was booked) which I really appreciated. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Bocas.

Wow! Tropical Suites is nothing short of amazing! It is so beautiful - right on the water with an incredible pool, bar and restaurant. Our room had a patio and full kitchen, was a perfect size for a full week in Bocas Del Toro. The location is perfect, and the staff was so helpful in answering questions and helping us to book water taxis and tours. I highly recommend this hotel!

Nothing at all - it really was the perfect staff. Beautiful hotel, amazing staff, quite and fun - the restaurant was so good and the pool is awesome. This made our staff really special in Bocas del Toro - would come back in an instant!

Our ocean-front rooms were comfortable, clean, and well-appointed. We had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable and relaxing. The pool area was clean and spacious and the food was good.

The wait staff on our first day, Sunday, was not well-trained. It took nearly two hours for all of us to eat lunch. Two of the four of us completed our meals before the third meal came, and the fourth never received theirs. It would have been understandable if the staff would have been nice about the mistake, but they were not. At least until the manager arrived to try to make it right. Monday morning, breakfast was the same. Two of us received our meals, while the other two did not. It appears theirs was given to another table. Otherwise, we loved this place!

The deluxe pool side bungalow was the perfect spot to spend evenings on the rooftop terrace and watch the boats zip in and out. All of the staff were friendly and helpful and I loved being able to jump off and on the water taxis the scheduled for us and pay for it all at check out. The day trip the have to Palmar beach club was a highlight! The pool was clean and refreshing and the daily breakfast was delicious. I’m glad I listened to other reviews and bought it when we booked. The wait staff were all pleasant and the drinks and food were so good! Also, there was a mini fridge in the room that was great to keep some waters ice cold from a hot day exploring. To address noise/music that comes from Aqua Lounge across the water, it wasn’t anything that kept us awake and was more white noise than anything to us! If we ever make it back to Bocas Town, I would definitely stay here again.
