I stayed a week. The apartment was clean, Air-conditioning was super, and it had cable tv with movie and documentary channels. The host was always helpful via WhatsApp and booking app. He gave me many advices for places to eat and tours. I met him in person and he is a clever guy with awesome sense of humour. They cleaned every 2-3 days or on request respecting your privacy 100%! Super value for money near to everything. The hight light was to wake up with the sounds of the birds in a tropical environment. For the prices and service it was a bargain. Thank you Mr Mauricio.

We stayed here for a week after living in a tiny Bocas apartment for 4 months and really enjoyed it. Our hotel room alone was about 3 times the size of the apartment we'd been living in, not to mention the giant balcony with ocean views. This was a huge treat for us, especially as we were travelling with a dog. The location is great, it's on very peaceful and quiet street, but still has bars and restaurants within walking distance. Great value for the money, would stay again.

The only updates that I would suggest is repairing the gate locking mechanism (had a lot of issues with one of our gate keys) and replacing the pillows (they were pretty flimsy). It was fine for a short stay but wouldn't want to deal with these issues for a longer stay.

I've been coming to stay at Sun Havens over the years, and notice and appreciate the upgrades they give the rooms. This time I stayed in the micro-suite, as well as another apartment. There is now a small laundry basket and a broom/dustpan in each of the apartments. How convenient! I was happy to be able to keep my place neat while staying there. The micro-suite is basically like living in a converted van, small but comfy with all of the amenities. The bunk beds were comfortable to sleep in (firm mattress), there was hot water in the shower, there is even a full length mirror. The only suggestion is to perhaps add a few hooks on the walls so there is more space to hang clothes/small bags but it didn't take away from my experience, I was happy to stay there. I'll be back!

Maurizio is awesome. Super friendly and helpful. The location is good; a few blocks away from 'downtown' but easily walkable. There are a handful of decent restaurants and a couple of mercados within the 2 to 10 block range. The room was about the size we expected. The sleeping area is fine, and has an air conditioner (yay!). The bathroom felt a bit small but I'm also 6'2" and 245 pounds so I'm used to that. Most bathrooms feel a bit small to me. The street out front is pretty well-trafficked but we didn't notice it except when we went outside. It didn't feel noisy in the room.

The futon that serves as a couch wouldn't latch in the upright position but it wasn't an issue as we weren't spending a lot of time sitting around in the main space. I let M know about it when we were checking out. He seemed genuinely surprised to hear it was broken and promised to look at it before the room was occupied again.

I loved my stay here. I was sick at the time so I needed a place to rest and it was perfect. The beds were comfortable, the A/C was perfect and quiet. I had a good night sleep. Everything was very clean, they also had room service. And the little terrace was cute as well. I extended one more night, that was no problem. The staff is really nice too. I'd come here again.

It would have been nice to have basics like salt, pepper and oil in the kitchen .. and a kettle.

The staff are fantastic and very accommodating. The room is spacious. The water is hot, pressurized, and sufficient. The air conditioner works and is cold and consistent. The location is quiet, yet close enough to get to the main area of town.

The beds are not very comfortable. They are cheap spring mattresses, that make noise when you move around on them and are just not comfy. They are the same beds in the other apartment we stayed in the week prior. There is a balcony light that is on all night, and shines through the thin curtains, lighting up the room. There is no way of turning it off.

Space was huge for the cost, Kitchen setup was good, AC was cold. All appliances worked. Hot water was VERY hot in the shower. Shower pressure was strong. There were adequate linens for all beds, the couch beds were easy to use. Plenty of towels. The refrigerator has a freezer compartment. There is a blender, coffee maker, and gas stove with oven. Plenty of pots and pans, dishware, utensils, etc. Kitchen table has plenty of space and seating. Numerous electrical outlets.

The beds weren't as comfortable as I had hoped, but for the price it was better than I expected. The couch beds were more comfortable than expected as well. There was no spatula, which made cooking in the pan interesting, as we didn't want to scratch the non stick by using any of the metal serving spoon options. The hot water can be intermittent after a few minutes. The lights are only controlled by two switches. So there is no way to turn on just the kitchen lights at night, while allowing others to sleep. There was a neighbors dog barking for a while in the evening and could be heard easily through the window, it eventually stopped. But otherwise the sound was minimal.

The apartments have everything you need, kitchen with coffee maker and cookware, beds, table, and hot water in the shower. This is usually my first choice to stay in town, good value for the money, and I like being able to make my own coffee; it's easy to get a single serving packet of coffee at the nearby grocery stores. The hosts are kind and attentive. One time the cooking stove gas ran out, and they replaced it in the morning the next day. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a well-rounded, budget-friendly place to stay.

Perhaps the cheapest private room you can find which is near to the central (walking distance). The micro room is ok for one person but will be too cramp for 2 persons. The mini kitchen inside the room is convenient to cook simple meals. Aircond is a bonus.

Cleanliness should be improved. When I entered the room theres a dead lizard on the floor which I asked the property owner to throw it away. The floor was also dusty and I had to find a broom & sweep it myself. The pots and pans, as others had mentioned were truly rusty. Doesnt matter if the pots and pans were new (as claimed by the owner) but if they're not the stainless steel type, they will gonna rust. Best to throw them away and make sure you buy a new stainless steel type pots and pans.

The landlord was very helpful. He immediately replaced the broken coffee machine with a new one. The room was big, it had a good atmosphere, we extended our stay. The piano is just a decoration. There is also Netflix on the TV but I don't even use it at home, we went here to explore the Caribbean islands which were absolutely amazing.
