This hotel offers an incredible mountaintop location, making it the perfect escape with ideal weather. The canopy tour guides were outstanding, knowledgeable, safe, and easy to follow. The rooms were clean and comfortable, ensuring a relaxing stay. The front desk staff was also exceptional; we checked in late, almost at midnight, and the receptionist gave us a warm welcome, just as every staff member at reception did throughout our stay. Highly recommend it to anyone looking to connect with nature!

The restaurant staff was disappointing. Two of the male employees seemed uninterested and had an unpleasant attitude, which was unexpected since my family and I are calm and friendly people. This was especially frustrating because it’s the only restaurant in the area, so if you’re hungry, you don’t have many options. You could go down to town, but it’s about a 15-minute drive, and at night, with the trail damp from the fog, it’s safer to stay up at the hotel. Additionally, the restaurant closes at 8:30 p.m., which feels too early given these circumstances—I’d prefer if they stayed open later. That being said, the rest of the staff was very kind and provided great service.

Beautiful facilities and location. Family cabin was lovely and perfect for parents and two kids (even two young adult kids like ours). Very clean and cozy. Staff was nice.

I should have listened to the reviews with regards to how difficult it is to get to/from. We had planned on renting a car and then changed our mind last minute. Getting taxis to/from was expensive and time consuming. While the hotel was lovely, I would definitely choose something closer to town next time. It’s also a lot colder at the hotel than in town and rainier so prepare accordingly.

It was clean and the staff was really nice and friendly. The restaurant food was really good, reception had a cozy chimney. The climate was good and the view was relaxing. Natural white noise at night, you could hear the water the frogs and birds. No airconditioner, but it was cold enough to sleep covered by leaving the window open.

Even tho the temperatures aren't high up there, due to water close, there are chitras (small mosquitos) so recommend a repellent. The location is a bit far from main town, need a car at night its a bit scary. But due to the location it was a nice place in the middle of the mountain with nice relaxing views.

This place is fantastic and they offer adventures for everyone in the family. The climate is superb and the views are beautiful. Service is excellent and the restaurant offers delicious food. The room accomodations I would rate 5 stars. Bring several cameras, waterproof is best if you are planning on exploring nature trails. They have trucks that take you from Los Establos office in town to their hotel, up in Palo Alto. Walking there instead is extreme aerobic exercise because of the steep mountain road and you may get soak in cold rain but it is a nice, couple of hours walk.

there is nothing that I did not like about Boquete Tree Trek. It is probably the best place to stay around Boquete when you need time for yourself or family.

The location is amazing, it's a must see! The bar staff was friendly. The wood burning fireplace that separates the bar from the dining area really adds to the ambiance. Food tasty. Activities are top-notch. My advice would be stay elsewhere but take advantage of all the activities they offer.

The service is incredibly slow. The breakfast starts at 7:30, the group had an 8:30 canopy tour reservation on their property. We arrived at 7:20. It took 40 minutes to be served scrambled eggs, toast, and sausage. Dinner took two hours from order to desert. It seemed that they felt guests are a burden. Water turned off. That kind of thing happens, but they tried to hide it from us. We tried multiple times to get a glass of water and coffee. The cups were filled only half way with coffee, the water never came. We would have understood if they just told us. We got back to the room after a disappointing breakfast only to find the rooms had no water either. No one was able to use the bathroom, brush teeth, etc until just before check out time.

Beautiful location with stunning views. Tasty food, though not very Panamerian, but still great. We also took four tours, all were very interesting, the guys working there are cool and very professional (from zipline to coffee tour). Truly recommend if you want to spend few days in calm, remote location and recharge.:)

It’s not about the dislike, but you have to be prepared that the wifi will be poor on a mountain, thus better take a book with you. Also not about the resort itself, but you need to take warm clothes (pants, jackets, etc), as in the evening/morning it is really cold outside compared to other popular among the tourists Panama locations.

Absolutely lovely location. We stayed in one of the matrimonial cabins, and we woke up each morning to a beautiful view of the mountains. All of the staff are incredibly friendly and competent. Every single interaction we had was good. The activities that they offer are very fun, and it is clear that the people running them also are having a good time, which makes the whole experience very enjoyable. The restaurant was nice and an excellent price. We would thoroughly recommend staying here!

If we have to nitpick, the room was sometimes a little cold, and the shower was a little unpredictable: sometimes it would go cold after 5 minutes, and other times you would be able to enjoy a 15-minute (warm) shower.

Beautiful location, great if you have limited time in Boquete as it allows you to do all in one (they offer a wide range of tours including coffee, tea and rum tasings, hanging bridges, zip lining etc.). Breakfasts were nice.

We were getting conflicting information about the tours before we arrived. The restaurant is a little pricy.

Beautiful place, clean. Nice staff, nice food!!! Shuttle to Boquete during the morning at different schedules. I do recommend it! Can’t wait to visit again. :D

I traveled by motorcycle. Not easy to get to the place especially if loaded. Very steep hills. Be careful. Not a problem if going by car.

The place is astonishing. The landscape magic and the lodge also very well designed. The food is not good at all and too pricy. Better go down to Boquete for your meals. The activities are nice and well organized
