The staff is friendly, speaks good English, and shows empathy toward special requests. The hotel is perfect for a comfortable stay: spotlessly clean, with soft towels and bedding. The room is spacious and cozy; a heater is available if needed (free of charge). Breakfast includes a choice of sandwich or eggs (or both), along with fresh fruits, vegetables, juice, and tasty coffee. The hotel's convenient location allows you to get all the related services quite quickly: a delicious restaurant, where there is a "buffet" system and you can order from the menu (be sure to ask the administrator about it, you will like it), pharmacies, currency exchange, small shops with water, sweets, etc.

The only thing I would like to ask for improvement is to fix the water supply in the evening, because otherwise the shower time can be extended, which is annoying. Thank you for your understanding!

Once inside the property it is very nice and quiet. From the outside it doesn’t seem it. The property is on a ‘normal’ street away from the tourist hotspots - I quite like this as you can escape the tourism vibe. It’s a little walk to get to the tourist bit but only about 10 mins and I found lots of different ways to go so you see more.

At first when you approach the property you do think that maybe it’s a little rough but once inside it’s all good.

The hotel is very well situated just far enough away from the noise of central Cusco but no more than a 15-20 min walk. The rooms are simple but more than adequate for what we needed. The staff were extremely helpful and couldn't have been more accommodating.

The room had some glass blocks on a wall and when someone entered the hall, the hall light would go on and would shine into the room. Not a big issue.

Outstanding personalized services, manager and staff are there for you. Hotel location is very accessible from public transportation and taxi. Hotel is very clean and breakfast was very good.

We loved our stay at Illas Inn and would recommend it to anyone. The hotel was a short walk from central Cusco and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. They kindly let us have a late check out and store our bags. The bed was HUGE and we had such a good night’s sleep. The rooms were also very clean. The garden was beautiful and we even had time to use the gym (which had 2 big machines in it.) Exceptional value for money and we would stay here again.

The shower went from hot to cold frequently.

Staff were very nice and helpful with recommendations for restaurants, shopping, and laundry. The hotel is within walking distance to the bus to Machu Picchu and and the train to Lake Titicaca.

Boris, the manager, was incredibly helpful and proficient in communicating in English. From storing our baggage, to helping with other travel logistics/taxis, to ensuring we were comfortable, Boris was attentive to all aspects of our multiple stays. The breakfast was fantastic with a beautiful setting looking out over the garden area. This area is landscaped very well to provide a surprisingly green atmosphere in downtown Cusco.

Cold sense of arrival. There is a gated garage door for street access and then walking through a dark garage driveway before entering the lobby. Their motion lights we’re sometimes slow to come on in the hotel hallways. While we appreciate this sustainability technique, walking in the dark took away from the welcoming feel Boris instills. Maybe more sensitive motion lights would work better?

Very good Hotel few blocks away from the city center. Host was very supportive. Bead was comfy and Breakfast was OK. Stayed twice while visiting Peru.
