The Morning Breakfast was a delight! The buffet breakfast options were varied and the stations were very well presented and maintained and the food SO fresh. I especially loved my Custom made omelet at the omelet bar, and the home made pico de gallo salsa was just excellent... AND on the morning that my daughter and I were up early (3:30am) to leave for our Macchu Picchu trek on The Red de Caminos Inka Ruta (The Inka Trail), the breakfast buffet was actually open with 70% of the breakfast offerings available to us. They cater to the traveling tourist, and do a premier job of making your stay a memorable one.

We had a truly enjoyable stay at the Sonesta Cusco Hotel. The hotel is ideally located, making it convenient for exploring the city, and the staff were consistently warm, professional, and welcoming. One of the highlights of our stay was the delicious breakfast buffet, which starts very early in the morning—an excellent perk for travelers with early departures, as we were still able to enjoy a full meal before heading out. The rooms were spacious, spotlessly clean, and exceptionally comfortable, contributing to a restful and relaxing stay. I would like to extend special thanks to two outstanding staff members who went above and beyond to make us feel at home: Mrs. Violeta and Mr. Adolfo Alfaro. Their kindness, attentiveness, and helpfulness truly stood out and made a meaningful difference in our experience. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Cusco.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The staff was incredibly welcoming, always attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. One of the highlights was the breakfast buffet, there was a great variety of fresh, delicious options to choose from, and everything was well-prepared. The overall atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it an excellent choice for a relaxing stay.

We stayed prior to/after the Inca trail. We chose The Sonesta due to its extra large rooms to allow for re-packing for the trek. The hotel overall exceeded expectations in every way. The pictures do not do it justice. It’s clean, modern, spacious and every staff member greets you with a smile. Breakfast was amazing, good coffee. We checked our large luggage during the trail with no problem. 10-15 min walk to old town but completely quiet at night, which was important to us. Would absolutely stay again if we return to Cusco. We ate dinner at the restaurant multiple times as well as room service.

This property exceeded our expectations. It is well-organized, well-located, and impeccably clean. The staff members are very polite and attentive to any needs. Our room was spotless every day—special thanks to Miriam for her excellent work. The hotel is easily accessible for all tour pick-ups, and you can walk to the city center. They also offer convenient airport transfers every hour. During our stay in Cusco, many tours started very early in the morning. This property offers a partial breakfast from 3 am, which was very convenient for a quick bite before leaving. We spoke with other travelers who didn't have this option at their hotels. Thank you as well to Maritza at the reception, who was very attentive and helpful.

We arrived at the hotel and our room wasn't ready. The staff kindly compensated us with a delicious meal. The breakfasts are excellent and beautifully presented. The waitstaff are friendly. Coffee, water & tea are available. The reception people are friendly & helpful. The rooms are comfortable.

We were situated on the sixth floor and we were warm while we slept. It was a tad uncomfortable. We spoke to the staff & they kindly provided us with a fan. We should have requested the fan on our first night

I booked twice for this hotel as I had a trekking tour in between. The staffs were super friendly and any services we asked for were super promptly provided. The buffet breakfast was fantastic! The room was quiet, and the bed was comfortable.

We ate two dinners at the restaurant. The service was a bit too slow on the 2nd time for some reasons. I felt like it took 30+ minutes to get my food once ordered, and it took forever to get my bill after I asked for. There weren't many customers in the restaurant. I stayed in the hotel twice as I have a trekking tour in between. The first four nights I got a room in 6th floor which seems more spacious and premium, and 2nd stay after the trekking tour I got a room in 3rd floor which was much smaller. I'm not sure the criteria for room assignment but seems a slight disappointment as I even paid a bit more for the 2nd stay.

Spacious, comfortable room and beds. Welcoming staff. Lovely facility. Excellent breakfast and room service. Elevator is a big plus at high altitude (not many boutique hotels have them). TV had more channels than anywhere else we've been. Openable windows did a good job keeping out the street noise, but couldn't be kept open to cool the room because of the street noise.

Only significant drawback was lack of contolled heating and cooling. Staff provided fan, but room still stuffy. Maintensnce needed on towel racks and shower curtain rod.

Clean, good location

1. Check in was 12 noon. We got to the hotel at 3:30pm after a long hike and still had to wait another 30 mins due to room not being ready! 2. We had an executive twin room booked for 4 people. The confirmation email clearly stated this. Front desk wanted to charge extra for 2 people stating it is only a room for 2!! 3. Arranged hotel shuttle for airport pickup, once again , clearly stating g it would be 4 adults with bags. They sent a small car that would fit 2 people and 2 small carry on bags and we had to wait at the airport atleast 30 mins before another car came through

Absolutely amazing hotel. Bedrooms were extremely comfortable, really good size and very well equipped. The restaurant was really good with an amazing breakfast. There was so much variety for breakfast, we wish we stayed longer just to try it all. They have made to order omelets, large selection of hot and cold foods as well as sweets, salads and all the fixings. The breakfast also has extensive hours and early start of you're going on an early tour. Staff is super helpful and caring and will do everything to accommodate your needs. Hotel is well located close to Plaz Mayor / Plaza de armas, which puts you close to ensuring you need. Free airport shuttle was a bit plus.
