Arrived tired the night of Friday 9th and Yosey at the front desk was super polite. After I made it to my room, he called to ensure everything was fine AND to make sure I understood the schedule for the breakfast (included) the next morning. During the conversation, he mentioned during the weekends they had the traditional Peruvian breakfast and recommended I would not miss it as it would be very good. The next day, i asked Maria Fernanda at the front desk if we could leave after check out and was forthcoming about being ready to pay an extra fee if necessary. She checked for availability in her computer terminal and after that he mentioned we could stay further for no additional fee. This was great as my wife and I use the additional time to enjoy a good lunch after a morning of shopping in the commercial district only a few blocks away. We almost did not book this hotel as we saw negative reviews from other guests about the noise. I would think other travelers are not aware of the type of architecture and location. The touristic area of Miraflores is also a commercial district with restaurant, shops, bars. Hotel Los Girasoles is actually on a quieter section. There is this expressway between the hotel and the noisier part of the district and what seems to be a more residential area. The hotel is on the residential side of the expressway. And, additionally, two blocks away from the expressway. So, in comparison to other hotels of alike architecture in the area, it is actually more silent. My wife and I went for an early walk after breakfast and it was all peaceful around, with a very nice park a couple hundred feet away. So, you go out the hotel to the left and the noisier commercial section is three bocks away, and only six city blocks from the more interesting section. Or you go to the right, and there is a beautiful park. People that complained about "noise" do not know what is to stay on Avenida Larco, or Parque Kennedy. That is noise.

Exceptional place!!! Location, confortable, the shower power was strong, room with powerful air conditioner unit, nice breakfast included, prompt service when I needed extra towels, I couldn’t ask for more!!! Not too far from all the nice attractions in Miraflores! I recommend this place 100% and I’m a very picky person lol. I’ll come back here again and for the price! I found this place as a miracle because the first place I booked was horrible and for the same price and I booked the Girasoles hotel at the last minute late at night and they helped me to get in my room quick so I could rest.

Everything was perfect!

Excellent location, 3 blocks from the hustle and bustle of Miraflores, but in a quiet and residential location, very good for a good night's sleep. Comfortable bed and clean sheets, shower with hot water, breakfast with fruits, juices, real coffee, teas, breads, eggs and other options. I really liked the service and attention from Mr. Martin, he was very attentive and friendly.

The bathroom stall leaks water whenever we take a shower and there was no trash inside the room.

Seemed to be located in a quiet neighborhood. I slept really good. Staff at front desk was very courteous and helpful. Ambiance was good. Room was comfortable. Easy check in and check out.

The food at restaurant. The breakfast was very good but we had dinner the night we arrived and one of the entrees especially was not good at all. We are not picky eaters at all but could not consume it. We told the server but she dismissed us. It was one of the most pricey entrees on the menu as well. Also, the other food we consumed was average. Peru is known for its exquisite cuisine and was looking forward to eat good in Lima, but was very disappointed. Had been in Peru many times and never disappoints when it comes to food but there is always a first time I guess. We should have eaten somewhere else but we were tired and the menu looked ok.

We enjoyed our stay in the Girasoles hotel for many reasons. Breakfast was very good and there were many options for the guests to choose from. In addition, the location is excellent. I also appreciate their concern for the environment. But what made our stay delightful was the hotel staff. All the personnel was polite, warm and helpful. Thank you to all of you who made our stay so wonderful.

Nothing, everything was perfect.

We had been to this hotel 6 years ago and returned because we liked it then. We were definitely not disappointed. Enjoyed our time there again. The hotel is just what we require. It is: in a good location; in a quieter area; and the staff are helpful without being intrusive.

The hotel is very nice and has a lot of people staying for business there, but also tourists. Shower was good, breakfast also and the bed was big. I stayed in total three weeks in Girasoles Hotel and really enjoyed my stay there. All of the staff was mostly very friendly, hospitable and even passionate, including the management. "Willy" the manager is a very kind man, which I could enjoy a few very interesting conversation with. I also remember Carla, Sheryl and the other receptionists which were all very professional. I WISH YOU "WILLY" AND THE REST OF YOUR TEAM, TO GET THROUGH THIS POLITICAL CRISIS IN YOUR COUNTRY ASAP, THAT YOU CAN CONTINUE TO WORK WITH PASSION AT YOUR HOTEL AND WELCOME MANY NEW GUESTS.

Sometimes is it a bit noisy , cause there are sometimes events with loud music at the rooftop, but it's ok.

Superb hotel in the beautiful quarter of Miraflores! We enjoyed our stay, the rooms were clean and the staff was friendly. They provided breakfast especially for us early in the morning, because we had an early trip and arranged transportation from and to the Lima airport. We highly recommend it!

Great spot, 10 minute walk from the waterfront boardwalk. Breakfast was convenient and consistent each morning we were there. Staff were helpful and booked flat rate taxis to and from the airport.

No real complaints, other than the windows in the rooms back onto the walkways of the hotel so noise can be a factor, but didn’t both us much.

This is a nice place to stay in Lima. Check in was friendly and staff in general were friendly; some breakfast staff even remembered daily requests. Rooms was clean and reasonably spacious with good beds. Clean linen and towels. The hotel breakfast is varied, with some additional options cooked to order. The restaurant used for breakfast and dinner is pleasant and the food on the dinner menu was very good. Good location with a short, safe walk to the central area and a metropolitan bus station. Overall recommended.

Being really picky, the attention to detail on cleaning e.g. hairs could be marginally better: this would only mean it could then be described as impeccable rather than just clean to an acceptable level. From an environmental perspective it would be worth only changing sheets when guests request this with the card provided. The shower taps were a little loose making it hard to adjust. Maybe also have a choice of pillows. None of these are big enough reasons not to stay.
