The staff went out of their way to help me, even washing my dirty clothes and returning them ironed and folded. The hotel is a delight with the landscaping, fountain, paved courtyard, colors. I had a suite with a private courtyard, a kitchenette, a large sitting room and a step-in shower with a stability bar. As a caregiver, I appreciate these things. Breakfast was always excellent. Reception helped with directions and my very frequent requests to have my water pitcher refilled.

El Patio was the perfect place to arrive on our first visit to Lima. From the first moment the staff made us feel at home, the beautiful courtyard, full of flowers, was special, the room was good, and the whole impression of an oasis at the heart of a hectic city. When we came back through Lima, they let us leave our bags in storage, even though we were not paying for another night. That kindness, so typical of Peruvians, will stay with us for a long time. Top recommendation!

Nothing could have been better.

Charming little hostel in the quiet and safe area of Miraflores. Its location is perfect in order to explore Miraflores and Barranco and also the center of Lima. The patio is really an astonishing discovery!! So beautiful! Our room was quite spacious, clean and tidy, although it could use a small renovation.. The breakfast was very good, with freshly made preparations and a good variety. The personnel was very polite, smiling and eager to help us in all our requests and needs!! They assisted us in several occasions and they gave us very useful tips.

The only negative was that there was no soundproofing at all in our room. We were on the ground floor, by the patio, and we could hear every single person passing by all day and night.

This is one of my go-to hotels whenever I come to Peru. When I let the staff know I was leaving and checking out early in the morning, they prepared a takeaway breakfast for me without me asking. I really appreciated that. This location is perfect if you want to he near Kennedy Park and a walkable distance to other restaurants on Calle Berlin, the different markets up north, etc. It is a bit loud around the area on weekends but that is because of its location is close to the park which has many night events and is super popular.

The hotel had fantastic spaces to spend time in and our room itself was clean and quiet. The staff were really helpful and accommodating. We were grateful they made us a packed breakfast since we had an early trip the next day! The location was really handy, close to Kennedy Park and places to eat.

Not much! The bathroom was a bit dated, but it was clean and the shower had better water pressure than I'd expected (it's notoriously weak across Lima)

The location was key , close to nice bars, restaurants, food markets. Comfy bed. The courtyard is very charming and the staff was very professional and helpful.

The breakfast was decent but it could have at least 1 option of cheese. My room was near the laundry, so every morning we would wake up very early with the sound of staff talking or doing some activity nearby.

Small and cosy hotel in the middle of Miraflores. Plenty of well maintained plants and several tables around property patios offer a chance to relax outside after a long day. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Plenty of great bars and restaurants in the area to enjoy Lima's thriving gastronomic scene. Hotel reception offers help with transfers from/to airport if required.

Not much. Rooms on ground level near the inner courtyard get a little extra noise from extra foot/luggage traffic.

24-hour receptionist there to help with any questions. Location was amazing right in the middle of town and yet still very quiet. Bed were comfortable and there was plenty of hot water, microwave plus tea and coffee facilities. There was a plenty for breakfast with a good range of foods on offer unless you are a vegan. There's even a very friendly hotel Cat!

The Wi-Fi was very hit and miss

Lovely hostal with a beautiful patio area and lots of seating areas on the first floor. We were at the back of the hostal, so it was lovely & quiet. Staff were super friendly & helpful. Breakfast was good, typical Peruvian breakfast of bread, eggs, juice etc & the olive tapanade was delicious. Already booked to stay again at the end of our trip.

We liked the calm, quiet environment within a busy city. The decor was comfortable and traditional/authentic Peruvian. Breakfast was good with a choice of options. Really friendly and helpful staff. Option to safely leave luggage before and after check-out.
