My stay at El Patio Miraflores was brief but thoroughly enjoyable. I chose to spend a night in Lima rather than flying home directly via Cusco, as I’m aware that flights can sometimes be delayed or cancelled. Check-in was seamless, and the staff member on duty kindly offered some great dinner recommendations, which I appreciated. My room was lovely—and in fact, the entire property feels like a peaceful oasis tucked away in the heart of the city. The jug of filtered water in the room was a thoughtful touch. Unfortunately, I had an early flight the next morning and missed breakfast, but I would absolutely stay here again and take more time to enjoy everything on offer if I return to Lima.

My time was short but I enjoyed it with no regrets.

Located in the best part of Miraflores, a very nice Lima district. Many restaurants and hotels in surrounding neighborhood. My single room turned out to be a 1 bedroom apartment! - small sitting area, kitchenette with a little table, separate bedroom, big walk-in closet, desk, separate bathroom. Gorgeous colonial building with colorful inner courtyard full of plants. Wonderful breakfast. Close to large park and tourist office. 15 minute walk to upscale Larcomar shopping mall and beach. Good value hotel with very pleasant and helpful staff.

Miraflores is far from the historic center and tourist sites.

The room was spacious and clean, and we got free refills of filtered water. We had a lovely view of the inner courtyard, the breakfast was basic but good, with delicious fruits. The staff was very nice and helped us book taxis. The location is in the middle of Miraflores and everything we wanted to see was at most 20 min walk away.

My only complaint would be the slight mildew smell in the room, but with how humid Lima was and with no AC I think that couldn't have been avoided.

The staff went out of their way to help me, even washing my dirty clothes and returning them ironed and folded. The hotel is a delight with the landscaping, fountain, paved courtyard, colors. I had a suite with a private courtyard, a kitchenette, a large sitting room and a step-in shower with a stability bar. As a caregiver, I appreciate these things. Breakfast was always excellent. Reception helped with directions and my very frequent requests to have my water pitcher refilled.

Nothing. It was perfect.

El Patio was the perfect place to arrive on our first visit to Lima. From the first moment the staff made us feel at home, the beautiful courtyard, full of flowers, was special, the room was good, and the whole impression of an oasis at the heart of a hectic city. When we came back through Lima, they let us leave our bags in storage, even though we were not paying for another night. That kindness, so typical of Peruvians, will stay with us for a long time. Top recommendation!

Nothing could have been better.

Charming little hostel in the quiet and safe area of Miraflores. Its location is perfect in order to explore Miraflores and Barranco and also the center of Lima. The patio is really an astonishing discovery!! So beautiful! Our room was quite spacious, clean and tidy, although it could use a small renovation.. The breakfast was very good, with freshly made preparations and a good variety. The personnel was very polite, smiling and eager to help us in all our requests and needs!! They assisted us in several occasions and they gave us very useful tips.

The only negative was that there was no soundproofing at all in our room. We were on the ground floor, by the patio, and we could hear every single person passing by all day and night.

This is one of my go-to hotels whenever I come to Peru. When I let the staff know I was leaving and checking out early in the morning, they prepared a takeaway breakfast for me without me asking. I really appreciated that. This location is perfect if you want to he near Kennedy Park and a walkable distance to other restaurants on Calle Berlin, the different markets up north, etc. It is a bit loud around the area on weekends but that is because of its location is close to the park which has many night events and is super popular.

This place is a beautiful oasis in the middle of Miraflores. The garden is gorgeous, the staff are wonderful, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast is delicious and fresh, and the resident cat is a wonderful bonus. The location is great, with lots of restaurants and cafes nearby and Parque Kennedy only a couple of blocks away.

The room and especially the bed was very comfortable and clean. The common space was just beautiful, it was very relaxing watching from your window that little garden. The breakfast, even though there wasn't a big variety, everything was delicious and fresh (the juices and the marmalades were the best i've tasted in Peru)!!!

The room was a bit cold because of the humidity.

The hotel had fantastic spaces to spend time in and our room itself was clean and quiet. The staff were really helpful and accommodating. We were grateful they made us a packed breakfast since we had an early trip the next day! The location was really handy, close to Kennedy Park and places to eat.

Not much! The bathroom was a bit dated, but it was clean and the shower had better water pressure than I'd expected (it's notoriously weak across Lima)
