The property meets the definition of a guest house, as opposed to a youth hostel. The location is excellent if you want to visit the Miraflores area of Lima. The host, who is Peruvian, has an excellent command of both Spanish and English. He was very helpful and readily available. Coffee (instant), tea, and filtered water were available around the clock. It was a good value for us. I would consider staying there again if I planned a short stay in Miraflores.

I note several discrepancies from the description: While the description states that there is a terrace, we only saw a smoking balcony. A continental style breakfast is mentioned in the description. We did not see this. (I do note that there are very nearby cafés and restaurants that serve amazing, reasonably priced, breakfasts.) The description mentioned an available in house bar. The instructions that I received after making my reservation said that alcohol is specifically forbidden. Of course, there are bars across the street. Finally, covid 19 and possible restrictions are frequently mentioned. I dearly hope that we are through with that and I would like to see such things removed from descriptions.

This location was enjoyable for me, although maybe not for everyone. Larq'a is in a business area surfeit with shops and eating establishments. These seem to be frequented mostly by local people as well as a spattering of foreigners. Thiis s not a posh gentrified tourist area, neither is it seedy or run down. There are a couple of large department stores nearby as well what in the estados unidos we would call supermarkets. It is about a 2 minute walk to Parque Kennedy, and maybe 20 minutes(?) to the cliffs overlooking the ocean. It is housed in an older building with its own charm. It shares the street level with a few shops including a Starbucks. The stairs were the usual route for me but the little antique-ish elevator was nice when moving luggage. It is the kind with the metal inner lattice door that needs to be closed before moving. Everything seemed clean. I was given 4 keys: front door and room were the first. I also had a bathroom key because mine was close but not in my room. The other rooms all seemed to have theirs inside. The last key was to open a door whuch sequestered the few rooms in my area of the hotel. I think that this was locked late at night. I never had ocassion to use it. This sequestered area had its own lounge. The room was clean and large with a large king(?) bed. There was an armoire, valet, TV, heater, airconditioner(?). Homey and comfy. The single window which overlooked Avenida José Larco had thick curtains that helped with noise and light. I only recall seeing two staff members here the entire time. José who did most if not all of the digital communication was not one of those. His communication was very good, checking in every day with whatsapp messaging making sure that everything was alright. I'm guessing that he is fluent in Spanish and English. Carlos(?) seemed to be stationed in the large hall area behind the always locked front door. He was very helpful albeit a bit reserved and laconic.

This hotel is almost like an art gallery and it feels like an Airbnb in a bueno way. Hay agua caliente, califactor, y internet muy rapido. After a long journey from Canada, hot water, heating, and reliable internet are welcome aspects. The staff was welcoming - I spoke in imperfect español but she understood me and we had a good conversation about how yo penso en frances before hablo en español.

Although it was initially a bit difficult to find the right entrance, this information was actually communicated to me in a message from the hotel manager before my visit. I generally had no problems with my stay.

Property is very communicative, providing information about check in, pictures of location, and instructions on how to check in and out. Somebody was always available for questions or concerns. Location is in the heart of Mira Flores and walking to everything is easily accessible. Room was just big enough for my needs and clean with amenities such as a small refrigerator, plug in heater, and TV.

For my needs, there was nothing I didn't like about this hotel. Though I was provided pictures of the hotel I arrived at night and trying to find the entrance took a moment as you need to look for the address, there is no signage that I saw.

Amazing - very good location and extremely comfortable beds. Staff were very friendly.

Only one minor issue which was that the walls were very thin and we could hear a lot from outside - for example when some other guests came back in the middle of the night and were quite loud, this woke us up. But this only happened once and otherwise we had a very comfortable nights sleep.

Everything. The apartment was perfect, quiet inside with lots of room. Huge bed and super comfy. The lady who greeted us was delightful and very attentive. I would highly recommend and definitely stay again. The apartment is located in a building with other residential apartments. It is not a hotel so there are few people which was really nice for me. Each room has a fridge of a decent size. Top marks

Excellent location right next to excellent restaurants and walking distance to many great sights. The staff were super helpful and welcoming. Overall we found this to be great value and would recommend it, especially if it’s your first time in Lima.

Note that it can be a little hot in the room during the summer, but there is a fan which helps a lot. Some rooms are also facing the road, which means it can be a little noisy, but it didn’t bother us significantly.

Nice one night stay in the Larq'a Park Rooms very close to Miraflores centre. I could leave my baggages in the entry space of the hostel already in the morning before check-in and also after check-out, when I left Lima in the night. Nice personal and advice from them. No problem with the toilet outside the room. Thank you.

Great location, clean room, comfy bed, excellent communication from check in until check out, and friendly staff. I requested a quiet room so I didn’t hear much of the street noise or traffic which was great. In addition, I enjoyed the close proximity to nearby restaurants, cafes, and shops. Would stay at Larq’a Park Rooms again in the future.

Sareli is super, super friendly and always helped me. I felt very welcome and at home. The place is antique but had a restauration which means it is a very good shape and its also very comfortable. The price was great and you get a small room but its perfect and the location too. It was also quiet for me but depends on the room I heared. Also they give you a lot of recommendations for restaurants and museos.
