The hotel is rather cozy and looks elegant. The Miraflores area around felt generally safe for Lima and had nice dining and shopping options around. The included breakfast was in the adjacent restaurant, so the only dish was egg choice - but these were the most tasty eggs we had during our 3 week trip. And they refilled our coffee for free - I usually drink several espressos for breakfast ;) According to my Garmin watch I had the best sleep in this hotel during our whole trip, so I guess the bed was comfortable to me.

The room was a bit too small with only 40-50cm between the end of the bed and the wall, so once my wife hit her shoulder with an edge of the TV hanging on the wall when trying to squeeze there - and you have to as you can't pass on to the bathroom otherwise. All the rooms are opened without a key, but with alike (at least not the same) code combinations on the keypad. So our 6-year old daughter staying in another room with her grandmother managed to guess it and enter our room while we locked inside. I didn't check, but I assume if I wish I could enter any other room in the hotel, too... Feels not too safe, to my mind.

I would like to have known that the room did not have a window before I booked it. I would probably have chosen a better room had I known. It was also a bit small, though the ensuite shower room was large!

The Blu Boutique was great, the door is locked at night which is a little bit of a hassle but nice to be secure, I was on the first floor so there was some noise with people coming in and out but not too bad, the breakfast was great, made to order eggs and coffee from the cafe and I really appreciated the noon check out time, gave me time to get out and about a little in the morning before checking out.

as mentioned a little noisy also seemed like they were doing some construction on the room above mine, hopefully wont be a problem in the future and shows that they are making improvements the layout of the room was a little awkward as well.

This hotel is located in a great area of Miraflores, close to many coffee shops, cocktail bars and restaurants. It also has a great coffee shop on the main floor with locally sourced and roasted coffee. It has a decent breakfast with fruit, bread and eggs made to order. The front desk staff is super friendly, and Melanie went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable from giving recommendations, to arranging taxis and storing our luggage on our last day in Lima. I would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend this hotel.

wifi signal strength in the guest rooms can be improved, but not a deal breaker

The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly and a special word for the managers on reception always ready to help in any way. The room was very nice, but they only clean if you tell them to...bit noisy with traffic..I had complaints from the room next door that I had tv too loud because tv is on the connecting wall...smorgasbord breakfast adequate..I guess I was comparing with my Quito hotel breakfast which was out of world. The hotel is centrally located in miraflores within easy walking to all sites....check out Surquillo - more old town Lima...20 mins walking from Miraflores

Room a bit noisy with traffic but I was on the road side.....in most hotels, and this is no exception they use push soap dispensers on the wall....these devices never dispense easily and adequately....can't we have hand soap and a little shampoo

Great location, close to many restaurants and shops. Very good breakfat at the coffee bar next door. Great size room, everything worked perfectly. Staff was very accomodating. On day 2 my friend flushed the toilet and.... you know what came up from the shower drain. We were moved into a bigger room whitin munutes. The next day my friend left the AC on and when I came back it was freezing, the front desk helped me turning it off and gave me a space heater, all in a matter of minutes

Our second room was not as quite as the first. So ask for a room with no window on the main street. Slight smell of must, but it seems a common problem in Lima

Love the location. love the vibe of the Blu Boutique and the art work inside. The room was perfect for our family of three. Took advantage of breakfast at least once and received excellent service. The hotel staff were very very helpful!

Not the fault of anyone at the hotel, but the kitchen/dining area were being remodelled so there were some construction to work around. We booked through Booking.com and were never sure if our email correspondence reached the hosts.

My family and I stayed at this little boutique hotel both before and after our trip to Machu Picchu. We arrived before the designated check-in time (2pm) for both stays, and on both occasions they let us check in early without charge, which was much appreciated after long hours of traveling! The staff was super friendly and accommodating, and it's evident that they take pride in their hotel and their work. The showers are a bit cramped, but the water pressure was good and the water was hot. The rooms are very clean and the beds are extremely comfortable - my #1 requirement in a hotel. The breakfast was simple but thoughtfully prepared, i.e., eggs to order and espresso drinks plus juice, fruit, and toast. For the price, in this neighborhood, and given the warmth of the staff, you really can't find a better option than Blu Hotel.

The announce at Booking does not mention NO WINDOW in the room. It was very bad in my opinion. They should inform it . I wouldn’t have booked if I knew it. One more thing. Breakfast is served in a coffee shop that is not part of the hotel so if you wanna have more than one cup of coffee or tea, you need to pay.

It was GORGEOUS- location was perfect- close to San Isidrio and Barranca, and el Malecon. The staff were really what made the trip! They were exceptional!

The room was soo tight, it had two queen beds, they should consider either one queen/ king or two twins. There were only 2 of us and we found it difficult to get ready. The bathroom was a BIG no. The configuration was off,- the door wouldn’t open all the way because it hit the toilet. The shower door wasn’t insulated properly and water got all over the floor.
