Not too sure what to expect, even though the reviews were all positive. As others have mentioned, common areas and rooms are all furnished in quality mainly antique furniture, collected by the owner on his travels. The rooms have very comfortable beds, hot water for the shower and polite and attentive staff. Cable TV with some English news and film channels. We booked 3 rooms for our family and all were of a good quality, far better than others we have stayed in that cost far more. When we are in the area again, we will definitely stay their.

Tea making facilities would have been nice

The antique high quality furnishings both in our room and throughout the hotel are wonderful. Good size room.

No balcony but access to outside walkway to get fresh air. The location is a little out of the way but plenty of tricycles passing by to get a ride.

We went to Dumaguete with friends to take the weekend off and relax after a long, busy month at work. Charo's Dormitel did not disappoint. This place made our entire experience in Dumaguete very memorable. The room is spacious, it fitted 5 of us in the room with extra space for our hefty stuff. The bed is magical! After a very long day of going around Dumaguete, this place will really give you comfort like royalty. We will surely book Charos again in our next visits to Dumaguete. The best! I rate this 11/10. 💜😇

mostly everything except the neighborhood with loud music out of a speaker adjusted in direction of our room

the unfriendly neighbors insisting on their traditional music mass at 4:30 am on every morning. These church people were ridiculous when it comes to disturbances of others, they are thinking they have the right to stead the word of God loud to everyone at 4:30 in the morning

Room was great, clean, and good working condition. Also liked the terrace.

Location. Across the street from college and they love vollyball. That means male team and females cheering and hollering. Not the establishment fault. Traffic and the school very loud. Also not smoker friendly because of location. Again, not establishment fault.

The room was quite big, we had all the facilities needed for the stay. I liked the location and the front desk was really helpful all the time!

There was quite a lot of noise coming from the street. I didn't bother us much as we were mainly there to sleep and during the night it was okay.

Greatest and best hotel in Dumaguete, great price , beautiful rooms, refer, water, large bright bath , split a/c ... Cheaper then renting an apartment Stayed 2 weeks in a queen room

Street is noisy But they are redoing the ext. Windows for privacy

Overall rating: EXCELLENT. Charos Dormitel response to our queries before our arrival and had allowed us to check-in very very late (10/10 on this). The staffs were very accommodating during our stay and very fast during check-in & check-out. Interior designs are very instagramable. Room is at affordable price. It was very clean & has good quality of furnishings. Highly recommended.
