My stay at Casa Arietta was absolutely amazing. From the very responsive staff (when I was talking to them online before I booked), and to them welcoming me to the property. I didn't expect that they had a small kitchennette that you could freely use, and it's literally a home away from home. I felt so welcomed. It also warmed my heart that they employed staff with hearing impairments — I was able to practice my sign language. They were all so kind and I would definitely choose to stay here again when I get to visit Dumaguete in the future. Highly recommend for a first time fully solo traveler.

The water pressure from the shower is not very high. It's not agonizingly low, but I personally had to ask if they had a pail and dipper because the water pressure wasn't it for me. It's not a major issue, though. It was manageable.

Surprised how nice & super clean Casa Arrieta was. It’s a small hostel, but, everyone is super nice because the common areas are conducive to meeting other guests. One can cook & has laundry option for very reasonable fee!!! One of the best hostels in Philippines!!! The ceres bus stop is at the corner street - Piapi Crossing & only a 2-minute walk to the hostel!!! The Ferry Ports are just a few minutes away by Ceres bus, which is so much cheaper than tricycle! Airport, just few minutes by tricycle, thorough. Location to everything is very accessible either by foot, bus, tricycle, motorcycle. Lots of restaurants around the hostel. The best part, amazing staff - Janet & Mary Grace - very professional but friendly, accommodating and always ready to help and answer your inquiries!!! I felt like part of a family there!! Thanks a million for the amazing stay!!!

The Wi-Fi is very fast (300+ Mbps) and it's near the places I love visiting everytime I visit Dumaguete.

Staff were deaf and mute, i think, but they were very accomodating, Very friendly and helpful. Ate even have us borrow umbrella and Kuya stayed late to help us check in. They message information on how to get to the hotel. They also advise pricing of tricycle. Good location. Can ride ceres bus w/o going to the bus terminal Very near to port 15-20 mins away from sibulan airport Near lantaw Near boardwalk Near siliman university Room is clean Aircon is cold Room has both electric fan and aircon Bed is nice Love the space Spacious closet Cloth racks and hangers With bidet Spacious inside the house Can do laundry for 200 pesos full load So quiet, love it Old but gold

One of the nicest places I’ve ever stayed. - everything was so clean and tidy - good location, with many restaurants around - room was spacious, comfortable and with loads of storage - shared kitchen was very convenient and a great place to meet fellow travellers - excellent laundry service (200 pesos per load) - free coffee is always a bonus - they have loads of recommendations for what to do and eat in the area

Everything was great.

Clean rooms, with individual lamp-like lights per bed. Quiet, recommended if you don't want a noisy atmosphere during your stay. Just saying cause on other hostels other guests could be nosiy. Clean comfort rooms and shower rooms. They have free coffee in their pantry and you can wash your clothes also. They also offer laundry service. Good location which is near some seafood resto and coffee shops. Walking distance from Siliman University although most the time people use tricyle to go around. Friendly and accomodating owner and staff. They can also help you arrange a ride from and going to the airport. Highly recommended. Will stay here again if i have a chancr.

The hostels feels so homey for me so i don't think I can name one thing that i didn't liked during my stay.

Location was 10 minutes away from Sibulan airport and a 15-minute walk to Dumaguete port. Lots of nearby cafes and restos (the staff even gives recos). The cleanest hostel I've ever been to—even the utensils in drawers were in arranged properly. Spacious, owner takes time to chat with guests, and they employ deaf people!

It's my first time booking in a hostel and I really don't know how it will turn out since I'll be sleeping with someone in a room. I booked for a week's stay and I want to do it again since I gained friends in staying at Casa Arrieta. Also, restos, coffee shops, tapsihan, bars etc are nearby the hostel (like walking distance)! What I like also are the staff (most of them are PWDs I think and it's a beautiful thing given the opportunity offered to them) and they are accommodating.

Amazing staff, very friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and nice showers and bathrooms. The towel, free water, tea and coffee provided are a nice plus. Nice restaurants very near-by, everything is in a walking distance from the hostel. I would 100% recommend staying here when visiting Dumaguete and surrounding areas.

The staff were very helpful, upon arrival I was shown to my room, then shown all of the facilities on offer. There are several bathrooms with toilets and showers, as well as a kitchen with free tea and coffee, water refill, microwave, cutlery and plates, and a seating area. There are large lockers in the dorm (need own lock), AC in the room keeps it cool. There's a light, shelf, and sockets at each bed in the dorm. Showers were good, strong pressure and hot water. It's a shame I could only stay 1 night, would have been a very comfortable stay for several nights.
