Clean and well maintained with friendly staff

The internal rooms have a window that looks out to an internal garden that has lighting. This is okay during the day but at night it’s too bright as the blinds are not black out and the light was on all night. This won’t bother some but annoyed me. You won’t need to turn the light on if you need to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night it was that bright.

The staff is very nice and accommodating. The included breakfast was very good. AC in the room was great. It can freeze you out which was very welcome after a hot day on the town. There is a coffee shop, laundry service, and barber shop right next to the hotel which was super convenient. The room service has very good food options. We loved the Ceasars salad, fetichini pasta dish, stir fried beef, and fried ice cream. So much to choose from, and all of it is very tasty.

The shower needs a detachable shower head. We liked the shower, but adding a detachable shower head as well would be very nice. There was no iron or ironing board. Would be nice if you could request one brought to your room. The TV was not a smart TV. Would have liked to watch Netflix.

Value for money. Excellent buffet breakfast (which we did not expect). Located near restaurants but in a quiet area. Free shuttle from the airport. Room has everything you need. Friendly staff.

Only one elevator. We took the stairs, reckon this will be harder if on the higher floor and with luggage (we only had backpacks with us and assigned on 3rd flr). Wish staff is more clear about how tuktuk fares work, we were told by some staff it could be 150-200 depending where but other staff also said, it is only 20 pesos per person as long as it is within town and you do not ask the driver how much when you get off (they’ll have an idea you don’t know and will charge more). We took latter advice (except the ride to the airport where tuktuk ride charged us a ridiculous amount of 200 pesos for two). Overall, we had a pleasant stay at this hotel.

Almost everything..

1. No access for charging electric cart, do not want them on property, probably because of the stories of e-bikes catching fire. This was a cart with lead acid batteries just like a motorcycle or an automobile uses. My fiancé was allowed to leave it one night. 2. Just a pet peeve, this is a 3 star hotel, but the refuse to keep change in their till. Seems to be a common theme for some reason in the Philippines. You receive big denomination bills from ATM and then you have to get creative and go to 7-11 or somewhere for a drink to break the big bill….. the issues is trike drivers nor anyone else can make change for a 1000 peso note. So you get a ride but can’t pay, that’s embarrassing.

The next morning when swimming I requested a towel and the older lady in charge in the pool Area forgot to get my towel. Her response to me was please wait sir. She had several staff available to go get a towel but did not manage them properly and some staff were not busy at all. For the supervisor I had to go ask her again for a towel after 20 minutes and she clearly forgot my request. Perhaps when. A customer asks respond immediately - attention to detail unfortunately not good for that employee.

Great staff, breakfast, pool, and very nice equipment in the fitness center. My air conditioner unit quit working. The matinance men were there just a few minutes after I called the front desk. I went out for two hours. When I returned the two matinance professionals had installed a brand new AC Unit. They were cool and it was cool! How cool is that!!!

Great value for money at the price we booked in at. Wonderful, attentive staff, always smiling and greeting you. The rooms were top notch, as were the amenities - pool and full gym on site! The highlight for us was the buffet breakfast, with different Filipino dishes each day, and an egg station for a delicious omelet or egg dish. We will be booking here again.

The breakfast service was very impressive. The menu changed on different days and was quite good. It is well worth the price you pay extra for the room. We hired a tour guide who took us around to see waterfalls, hot springs, museums and more. This hotel is a great place to start from and come back to. The Plaza is a short trike ride from the hotel. Definitely worth visiting again.

I was there while renovations were going on around the pool. That was unfortunate for us but understandable. The ride to the ferry terminal was too expensive...1000 pesos. That was the major detraction from the whole experience...paying to escape Duemagette.

A good place to stay, we stayed there for 4D3N, all the staff is very attentive to our requests and we're glad they accommodated and upgrade our room when we noticed shower heater is not working on the first room we booked. Everyone is courteous when seeing their guest. The food buffet is good too. They arranged a ride for us going to the airport.

The staff are all amazing. Warm, courteous and hospitable. From housekeeping, to lobby greeters, breakfast staff and even security. They will all greet you whenever they meet you. The large pool and buffet breakfast is also a plus! The lobby is quite big too.

During the time of my visit, the road has only one lane. But it’s okay. The Wifi most of the times don’t work on Android phones, but Apple gadgets works very fine.
