It is close to very good restaurants (Cafe Racer and Lantaw). It has a wonderful bar on the rooftop and the bartender, Gino, is amazing! The staff are friendly, helpful and nice.

The noise level coming from the pool place (billiard hall) across the hotel can be heard inside my room till they close at 1 am. My room is located in the front of the hotel. Also, it seems to be a place where most groups of foreigners book so during my stay there was a huge group of Danish young adults that was making too much noise on my floor. They were in the hallway slamming doors and going back and forth between rooms and talking loudly.

I like all the ideas that has put into this hotel. From upcycling stuff that turned out to be so beatuful pieces. It has a small play area in the restaurant that made me fall Inlove with this hotel. The comfort rooms in the resto were amazing. It's is close to the port if you want to visit Siquijor Island.for a 45 Mins boat ride. And is close to be airport as well for a 15mins. tricycle ride . We had a free shuttle from the hotel which is very kind of them. I hope in our next stay we will have a life size mirror lol!

I love this new Hotel Dumaguete. It’s got an environmentally-friendly and contemporary design with artworks by local artists at every corner. But what impressed me the most was their impeccable customer service, the front desk staff and the entire breakfast crew (including Joy) were very friendly and attentive. Above all, they were all very swift and efficient at providing help. I had an unfortunate medical emergency one morning… the hotel had a van with a driver at the ready and the guard even carried me to the van! (Side note: calling for an ambulance in the Philippines is rarely the quickest way to get you to hospital). Long story short, they brought me to ER at the university hospital in time and I was able to get the urgent medical help that I needed. I was discharged late that evening and it was a pleasant surprise to see a basket of fruits with a get well card in my room from the hotel staff and management. Team Hotel Dumaguete, I cannot thank you enough for your kindness!

Beautiful lobby with restaurant decorated with modern hacienda theme, reminded me of boutique hotels in other Asian countries. Green design. Paintings on the open well-ventilated hallways. Stairs in open air where you can walk up to 4th floor, for exercise. They have a glass lift, but I preferred stairs. Clean, business-room with wooden floor panel and paintings. High ceiling. Scented room and fresh beddings. Study area and good internet. Netflix TV. Bible in the room. Well-functioning hot-cold shower. Courteous staff. Near the Bay Area where you can walk/ jog and there are restaurants. I hope to come back. I will recommend to friends.

I liked that it wasn’t too far away from the centre of Dumaguete and was just a walk away from the pier where all the restaurants and cafe’s were. It was well kept, clean and safe with 24/7 guards/ security. The staff are super helpful and so lovely. There are 3 restaurants on the property which makes it easy if you don’t want to leave to get breakfast, lunch and dinner. They also have pedi cabs and vans to drive you around free of charge within Dumaguete. The aircon is really good, keeps the rooms well cool. The rooms also have an iPad which allows you to order room service and message the employees.

The pool is very small and there’s too many trees/ shading. Not enough sun beds either. The windows are also single glaze, so you can hear noise outside. Luckily we had a room at the back of the hotel so it wasn’t as bad as a room at the front, but we could still hear noise from the road and dogs barking. Our toilet in room 305 (I think that was our room) kept getting stuck/ breaking and the shower water pressure was really poor. There were also very small ants in our room too. The room could’ve done with a fridge as well. They had one in the communal pantry but I wouldn’t trust putting my stuff in there as anyone could access. All food & drinks have Tax & service charge on every item.

It was my first time visiting Dumaguete after 9 long years! We are so happy we chose to stay at this hotel. There are a ton of options to choose from, especially if you are staying around the Boulevard or downtown Duma. We can tell that the hotel is pretty new, but the staff takes such great care of the hotel and its facilities. We like the minimalist style of the rooms. We also loved their natural pool water. Some of the hotels we've stayed at put so much chlorine in their pools that the smell stays in your hair for a couple of days, even after you've showered. We liked the Piapi deli and everything that they had to offer. We also checked out the nearby restaurant, La Mensa, and my husband and I are hooked forever (what a gem!). This hotel is located pretty close to Silliman University, Rizal Blvd., and downtown area. There are tons of places to eat, laundry shops, and pretty much everything else you might need. We felt so welcomed here and we will definitely consider staying here again when we visit someday!

The rooms are so tastefully and carefully laid out. They're on the smaller side but everything is spotless, smells soooo good, and works! I love the small pantry every floor and how the body wash and shampoo smells. The beds are super soft too. The staff even went out of their way to send my laundry to the laundry shop (and pick it up). There's also a free shuttle from the airport to the hotel and back. They offer free shuttle around the area (we were able to go to Rizal Boulevard riding their shuttle). Location is near everything in Dumaguete City! Will definitely choose this hotel whenever we're visiting Negros Oriental.

The location is great; and cleanliness of the room. Staff is responsive, friendly, and helpful. They make your stay easy by helping you find ways, such as laundry, transport, etc. Room is regularly cleaned. Good cafe and restaurant in the hotel. It’s got a great rooftop bar and pool. They also made the pool area feel and look private. Well maintained surroundings. I always come back to this hotel and we stayed for around 2 weeks this time.

Not the hotel’s fault, but a new billiards and bar business opened across and it can be loud. But the noise gets muted when you’re in the room.

First of all, I love that they offer a free transport from the sea or airports to the property. They also have a tricycle for the guests' disposal. Love the interior of the lobby where you can also relax and have your snacks and lunch. What surprised me was that there was a really nice pool! I did not know that. Staff are also really helpful and nice. Plastic bottles are provided so you can refill it from the water dispenser in the kitchenette, where there are also fridge, microwave, coffee kit. Their elevator is really nice as well!

I guess I can only recommend for the bottle water to be bigger hehe

Well appointed rooms with the comfiest bed of our trip. Swimming pool area was stunning with wonderful plants creating shade. Fantastic cocktails at the rooftop bar and if that wasn't enough, free pick up and drop off on arrival and check out as well as free lifts to anywhere within the city during your stay. Everything about our stay was 5*

Thin windows meant you could really hear everything going on outside during the night, something we're quite used to coming from a bit city but may be a bit surprising for others. Overall though the local area was rather quiet.
