The place was clean, and my sleep was really good. The best part about this place is that it’s very close to the beach and everything, including restaurants, shops, and travel agencies. I was happy that I chose a hotel with easy access to everything. I was with my cousin, just the two of us, and we got a queen bed room that was comfortable. I also liked that they had hangers in the room, and if you needed anything like hot water, they could provide you with a thermos. The staff, especially the girl at the front desk (I can’t remember her name), was very nice and friendly. Whenever I asked her a question, she had the information I needed, unlike the other guy, who didn’t seem to know some locations I was asking about ( not big deal though overall okay). I highly recommend Alocasia.

ella at the counter was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay, she was able to help us with everything we needed and solved a booking problem we had. hotel was good for the money and in a good area. beds and pillows are comfy, toilets clean, there are bidets, and toiletries are provided too. irecommended it for the price

air conditioning and wifi were not working that well, perhaps the AC’s filter need cleaning, same with the water pressure, we had 3 rooms and in 1 the pressure was not enought to shower

Initially, I was disappointed from my first sight as this was a type of hotel I would personally never consider if I had been traveling with anyone other than my daughter. She is actually the one who selected this for our stay. It's not that anything was bad. I just stay at high end hotels for the most part. My first thought was to rent another hotel and to just chop it up as a loss. The front desk attendant, Mark Aaron, is what changed my mind. He has such a kind and caring attitude and wanted to do anything within his reach to make my stay as comfortable as possible. In fact, his customer service was impeccable and I can honestly say that he is one of the main reasons I stayed rather than going to another hotel. With that said, it's hard to find great customer service these days and I just wanted to make sure to give him a big shout out for being so attentive and always going the extra mile. He definitely stood out from the pack and is like a shining star in a dimlit world. I think his boss should not only give him a raise but also have him training any newcomers. He's a customer service ROCKSTAR!!

What I didn't like was the selection of channels available and the fact that even though the wifi was connected we were unable to access Netflix

Convenient location, the rooms are basic, but very very clean, the staff is super friendly, there’s air condition, it’s a little old and noisy but works well. Perfect for sleeping and heading out for tours or beach.

No hot water, but that’s not uncommon.

The location was very good. It was close to the city center but in a less noisy area. Everything was around the corner. El Nido is quite expensive compared to other places in the Philippines. So don’t expect to get a luxurious room. The room is basic with everything you need but nothing more. The cleanliness was okay for Asian standards. But I don’t understand the complains about the shower, the pressure is fine and you can even take a warm/hot shower.

Great location—close to restaurants and the island hopping port! However, it can get quite noisy, especially from early morning street traffic and motors. If you're a light sleeper, I’d recommend booking a room farther from the street. Other than that, it’s a convenient and fun spot!

Located at the center of everything. The neighborhood is very lively both in the morning and night. It is a 3 minute walk to where the meeting point for most tours is. The room was extremely comfortable and the staff was very helpful. Mark was an excellent host and he went above and beyond to make sure my needs were taken care of. Definitely recommend staying here.

The property is a couple blocks away from BPI bank. It’s relatively close to the beach and calm. I really like the location, it’s walkable distance from the party/commercial area but it’s quite and peaceful at night. The internet was good and the staffs were amazing namely Ruby, Reggie and the others. They were always willing to help, friendly and accommodating. The place is clean, and relax. I had a wonderful experience staying at Alocasia.

There were a couple short brown outs but the staff were on top of it and provided us a fan which the generator can handle. You can’t leave your gadgets charging when you are out because the door key controls the electricity. When you are out everything is turned off. The room was cleaned on the 5th day on our 7 day stay. We wished it would have been paced out evenly so that we could have enjoyed more nights with clean sheets. The place is always clean nonetheless and you can request a housekeeping if so desired.

Access to filtered water provided by the property would have been good, however there were shops nearby you can buy water so not a huge issue
