Probably the most beautiful view we had during our trip. The hotel is ideally located. The stairs were not a problem for us but as other comments state, you better be fit!

Several meals and drinks were not available. Also, the hotel was not inclined to negotiate the activity prices and therefore we found other (cheaper) solutions less than 200m from the location. The rooms are not isolated, therefore you will hear the wave sounds, which is nice for some but not if you are trying to get some rest.

The location! Right on the beach with amazing views of Bacuit Bay. Room was very clean and spacious.

Service and staff could be improved and better trained. Service was very slow in the Beach Shack Restaurant when we were the only ones there. Correspondence with guest services was frustrating, as they never responded to my requests for airport transfer. I had to call them finally after never receiving any responses through email or WhatsApp. Also, little awareness of food allergy precautions. When we alerted them of my daughter's severe nut allergy when ordering, they still put pesto (with pine nuts) on her order. Anna was clearly annoyed by us the following day after she replaced the order for us. Her attitude towards us altered dramatically after this one request.

Stunning location!!! Check-in is literally on the beach. Staff is extremely helpful and accommodating. Our room was absolutely gorgeous with a sea-view. Fell asleep to the waves every night. They even had an electric moka pot in the room which I appreciated. Has a beautiful beach where you can swim in when you please and then order drinks from the Beach Bar. Also, they have a small infinity pool to cool down in after a long day with comfortable two-person loungers. We really loved this place and would recommend to everyone.

Not that I didn’t like but it’s a hike up the stairs if you have a room further up. The staff graciously took our bags up and down. It was our honeymoon and they said they would have fresh plants and flowers on the bed when we arrived, but this never happened. Not a huge deal but would’ve been a great touch.

The hotel is stunning, amazing views from room and balcony of the bay and sea. Rooms are lovely. They come and get your bags from the road entrance if you tell them in advance, as the hotel is only accessible via the beach.

The staff at the beach bar are rude and incredibly slow. There are beanbags and deck chairs at the beach outside of the property, but they can be used by the public. So, by the time we got our room and checked in - there were no deckchairs left for us. This was very frustrating as it was full with people that were not staying at the hotel or paying, whereas we were but couldn’t use the facilities.

The staff was friendly, courteous and helpful. The view was beautiful. Our room was comfortable and inviting.A/C worked ( very important) Restaurant was nice. Included breakfast was great. we ate many lunches and dinners there as well.

Steps were a bit much. No banister on a lot of it. The music played in the restaurant was repetitive and frankly poor canned no name music.They need to change that.

Beautiful hotel, the best hotel we have been in the Philippines during our trip. Located at Las Cabañas beach, it has the most stunning views from the room, we really loved it. The room is clean and comfortable, the bathroom has all the amenities. The staff is wonderful, super polite and helpful. Its definitely worth it staying in this hotel despite of the price.

If they improve the access to the hotel they will definitely have a 10/10 rate. Thats the only thing I would highlight from the points of improvement. The access is literally from the beach, which is fine if the weather is nice and pleasant but if you dont want to walk through the sand and water (and if the beach is busy, through the people chilling on the beach) you would have to do it anyway because there is no other alternative.

The staff were amazing from check in, dining and support staff. We were greeted by everyone. Breakfast was delicious of Eggs bacon pancakes fresh fruit french toast and filipino offerings. We got sick during our stay and the staff took great care of us by going to the store and checking in on us. The facilities are excellent and high perched off a cliff to a wonderful view of the sea. Sunsets were amazing especially from the infinity pool. Truly a special place located on Vanilla Beach El Nido.

Lots of steps leading to the villas but the staff will assist with anything needed.

The staff was extremely professional and helpful! The food took a bit to be served but was exceptional for the price. We loved everything we ordered. The proximity of the hotel to a smll shopping area, the beach and other activities was very convenient. The Mua Tala Hotel itself had a beach bar and café at its base. The atmosphere was very relaxing and beautiful! Ms. Louella was a godsend! My fiancé proposed here and it was all planned wonderfully with Ms. Louella's help! From recommendations for videographers/photographers, the location, the food, the set-up and the day of execution, it was truly an unforgettable moment and overall adventure. I saw some of the reviews complaining about the staircases being an issue. We stayed at the highest rooming accommodation (King Suite) and although it was several flights of stairs, it did not bother us. The staff carried all our belongings to our room anyway. The assessment of that being a con is unjust. Logistically speaking, to expect other alternative infrastructure to be in place is privileged. They are just stairs. We truly want to thank Ms. Louella and the staff for an amazing experience that will live on with us forever! We hope to be back some day!

Beautiful property, great location. No street access but the staff was incredibly helpful with our bags and arranging transportation to and from the airport. Short walk along the beach to reach the vanilla beach shops, where you can easily get a trike/taxi. Amazing sunsets every night, the ocean is crystal clear and warm with lots of little fish if you like to snorkel, adorable (& very friendly) dogs all around. Pool is only for hotel guests, which was nice. The restaurants were good with a great selection of drinks- try the pineapple basil daiquiri!- and the breakfast (banana pancakes) was delicious.

No complaints! There are a lot of comments about the stairs so here’s my take- the stairs weren’t much of an issue for us. You could try to request a lower room if you’re worried about them, but there’s no elevator so you will have to take at least some stairs.

We love everything about Mua Tala!!! Anywhere you go (room, restaurant, pool, cafe and bar), the views are spectacular!!!!! My husband and I spent 5days here for our honeymoon, but wished we could’ve stayed longer. The staffs were very lovely and friendly, all of them!!! The food (especially the shitake pasta) and drinks were really tasty. We actually got a little bit too much to drink on our first night, also because we came just in time for the full moon party. We would definitely recommend and come back ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
