The staff, location, and sheer comfort of the bed were just amazing! The resort has two beautiful beach areas, both well-maintained, and of course, you get full food and drink service right on the sand. The concierge service was next-level—super quick to respond and willing to arrange absolutely anything. Case in point: I accidentally broke my Starbucks Boracay mug while packing, and they literally drove back to town and brought me a new one on our last night. Now that’s service! Amazing resort. Super peaceful, plenty of space, never felt crowded. Incredible food. Friendly and attentive staff. I’ll definitely be coming back!

I’m extremely critical, especially when it comes to 5-star resorts, but honestly? I can hardly find anything to complain about. Well… okay, maybe some of the sunbeds had a few stains on them—if I really had to nitpick 😆. But honestly? No complaints. Just go for it.

Amazing setting, staff, food, atmosphere. Just so good.

Only debatable point for us would be not walkable to white beach but then again, that also contributes to the feeling of space, peaceful location and quiet. Suggest more frequent bus transfer could be considered although local tuk tuk added much and that worked for us.

The resort was perfection. We are still speechless. Our butlers (Jerome and Michael) were always available, and helped us with everything, we felt very well cared for. The restaurants on the premises were amazing, best representation of Filipino cuisine (also the Mediterranean restaurant RIMA - LOVED!). Not to mention, our private dining experience was so so lovely! Amazing Filipino food and the sweetest chefs + waiter. We got freshly baked cookies on a daily basis and sometimes sweet handwritten notes from the cleaners. The sea was clean, see through, sparkling and beautiful - we did not even touch the many swimming pools. The beaches were clean and monitored by incredible beach attendants who go above and beyond for you (especially in the shared beach - they helped my husband find his glasses in the sea which was stuck in a little underwater cave!). The resort truly embodies how to build a luxurious resort amongst the nature (we had monkeys in front of our villa) and tie in the Filipino culture. We would come back in a heartbeat, they made our honeymoon beyond amazing.

Our only little gripe, was that whilst our butlers and guest service were incredibly available to call buggy’s for us and all the drivers were friendly and so sweet - it took rather long (15-20mins) to get the buggy’s to the treehouse villas so that we could go somewhere - it felt like we were forgotten sometimes. I would suggest there are 1 or 2 buggy’s which are stationed in the treehouse area since it is far up from the main square (and therefore tedious to walk)

The resort is phenomenal, featuring a private beach, extremely friendly staff, and a breakfast that offers a vast selection of foods from all over the world, presented in a variety I have never seen anywhere else.

We did encounter some challenges at the seafood restaurant. The waiting times were notably long, and we felt that the food quality did not align with the otherwise high standards of the resort. While the menu was ambitious and offered a variety of options, some dishes lacked the freshness we had expected, which slightly detracted from our dining experience. Considering the relatively high price point of the restaurant, we had anticipated a more refined culinary experience to match the fantastic ambience.

Wonderful place. Lovely spacious rooms. Boat shuttle taking you straight from the port to the hotel. Food was excellent. Plenty of entertaining areas for both adults and kids, very convenient when it's raining. They keep the food warm until you get to your room when you ask for delivery and you are late. The staff is the key asset: accomodating as much as possible the clients, we were treated like kings and queens. Very nice place.

Big place meaning you need a shuttle to navigate,which means waiting time sometimes. A few power outages and issue with the air cons,quickly fixed. Tuk tuk to go to the mall was overpriced and low room to negotiate. Nothing major.

I have never been anywhere on this earth nor visited a place that did not, in some way fall short or disappoint in some area. This place is the only exception. My wife and I were just taken aback at every level of service. From the facilities, the staff, the food, the views the aromas and just the well being you will feel when every single item you need, is taken care of. Their water is even their own, and the sparkling water is addictive in the mid day heat. The maids do a service that rivals a military operation in under 30 minutes in your room to leave it beaming clean. Great beds, complimentary fruit and (glass) bottled water. The free breakfast is of nothing you will ever experience. We walked pass a display of doughnuts on a wall for two days before we realized they were real😆. You just have to go yourself and experience perfection. There is nothing more I can say other than we were very, very sad to leave.

The only thing, and this is no big deal, I would hope they would serve San Miguel Negra rather than Guinness. It's a superior and also Philippine made.

The service was 5-star. The staff were so friendly; every single member of staff greeted you with a genuine smile and always willing to help. The room was really comfortable with a great ocean view. The beds were really comfy. The location was not too far from downtown of you wanted to venture out; there was a free shuttle bus that took you there and back. Food at the hotel was delicious with a great variety offered at breakfast. Dinner by the beach was our favourite with a stunning sunset view and live music on the beach. The hotel had two private beaches with a selection of water activities offered. We particularly loved the kayaking and the sunset sailing. All in all, this hotel is highly recommended. We will definitely be back!

The pool water was slightly cooler than we expected but once you were in it was fine after short time.

Shangri La Boracay was absolutely spectacular. The staff were so attentive, helpful and welcoming. Everything from the location, the food, the room and service of all staff was amazing. We will definitely be going there again in the future.

Location is the best on the island. Service was great from pick up at airport to drop off when we were leaving. We were only there for 2 nights, but wished we could’ve stayed longer. The rooms are big and spacious, we stayed as a family of 3 and even the simple touches of bathrobe and slippers for my child were thoughtful. We stayed during Chinese New Year, so got to enjoy the celebrations. The best Shangri-La hotel we’ve stayed at by far!

Not a bad thing, but because the grounds are so big you need a map sometimes. The buggy service helps. Especially if you have dinner at the Tree House and are staying in the North Wing and need a lift back to nearer your room!
